As one of the victims of the copyright incident, it sure was a dark time. But I have nothing to fear; newer, cooler mods will replace their fallen comrades. And I reuploaded the V.I.T. Archives, so some old faces are still here.
From what i understand (i am developing a scratch mod rn) remixes were unshared and became non remixes on scratch or unshared remixes stayed (easier for copyright either way, and only the one template is gone :D)
@@thehydrationman5500 i somehow misread moderation as modding 💀 fast reading is a bitch my point still stands tho, most scratch mod suck ass regardless
Honestly, I don't mind this at all, don't get me wrong, it's a bit sad that most people lost their scratch mods, I just hope that they'll move to making official app mods.
i made a project that was taking me over 4 months that was striked down this afternoon by them, and it ticks me off because of how much time ive just lost
I have to agree Copyright can be an issue but that does not mean the fans of Incredibox are not gone it is a time to stretch out and expand new horizons and adapt new possibilities and maybe recreate some of the scratch mods or make it even better just saying.
Hopefully this will allow for less super low-quality fanmades to be released and covered by Incredibox RU-vidrs who have to upload daily no matter the quality of the mods.
I got upset when I lost my Scratch mods, including my HTF ones. Anyways, you might use a different template that hasn’t been removed yet or copy or save the unshared project and create it by using an untitled project.
I will never understand the hate people feel for the scratch community. Why does the engine or platform something was made on matter so much? The quality? really? nobody is forcing you to engage with these totally unknown mods. Stick to creators you have heard of. boom. you're not dragging your feet through the "sludge". You wanna be one of the first to know of the next big hit? you wont be. The other content creators that helped the person or people making that mod will know how great it is before it's even released. Creators talk to creators. That's how the Incredibox modding community is. Honestly, it confounds me how people can have ANY hatred over what, no matter how much i love it, is a drag and drop music gadget. It's not that deep, it's not worth fighting and slandering over.
I've never been a fan of scratch, and I'll tell you why I don't like it. For me when scratch took off, it kind of made incredibox lose its feeling, as if the fanbase were looking for something new and wasn't really appreciating the original game and high end mods as it always had been. And when I came across mods that use characters like neester and lilac only for popularity and then write pages about their lore and making it all really edgy and see that get 50k+ thousand views instead of mods like downtown I kinda realised what the problem was and that it all stemmed from scratch. Everyone kinda just forgot the original purpose of incredibox, and with what it is now the community just went downhill. I'm not saying that scratch is a god-forbidden platform that should be burned in hell, in fact, projects like the red vs blue competition and skylines I actually really like, but I know the community would be in a much better place had scratch never became popular.
While I am not a fan of a huge amount of scratch mods and I see the problem people have with it, I do find it disgusting that like a lot of people are going out of their way to celebrate and mock people because the mods were bad. It's like if some child ended up having their drawing ripped up and like a group of high school students started cheering. Don't like the concept of "IF IT ISN'T GOOD IT SHOULDN'T EXIST! RAHHHHHH!" because it's just such a pretentious mindset to have.
Now Scatposters and Pollywog and Even Nozzled and Mortibox are gone :( They moved on to the cocrea So they put Otherbox purgatory and Mortibox in here ;)
Literally right as I started to look into these mods Rip yubin niiku, you were cool while you were up(to my knowledge, I can’t find another version of it anywhere)
:( But imagine..... incredibox reimagined....all new, even polo designs.....template, a different way to mix stuff...... Would it be considered as COPYRIGHT?
As a TL;DR for those who has the attention span of a goldfish: Incredibox Scratch has been copystriked, as it infringes on the original Incredibox’s copyright.
tbh, the only project that major hit I had was one I lost interest in finishing, I did my edited version of the incredibox template (which no longer counts as a remix btw) on cocrea mainly for personal use, also, with the seppezz thing on the top part of cocrea, I say they might be more chill with scratch esc projects there
It isn't the end really, I've been told that So Far So Good only meant to copyright the remade official versions. Instead, Scratch's ban bots went on a banning spree on the majority of them (the mods). If we post more mods after this, we'll be okay because it's only their "minor" mistake... (If I'm wrong, then I'll correct myself.)
uh oh i have a scratch incredibox project i made that has like 60k views D: i dont wanna lose those 😭😭 EDIT: wait nvm, my project uses my own art, music, code, etc. so i dont think its much of a worry
Man, I don't want to lie, no, incredibox scratch made me play colorbox sepbox and the other mods I've played, but man it wasn't supposed to happen, like incredibox scractch made me a big fan Like incredibox little miss Alpha sunrise The love wekiddy dystopia and the others, but there are also mods that you can download incredibox mods two face The last day express and the others, etc., more and Sad because this will be the end of Scractch Incredibox 🥺🥺
Well, I was also subject to copyright when I made fasterbox v1 vision. So I downloaded the mod to my computer and decided to transfer it to Cocrea. I moved it, changed some details and wanted to save the project. Clicked save. And I have a question. Everyone has a problem when you press a button save and wait, wait, wait, but the mod still won’t save?
I'm one of those victims.... My incredibox mods got deleted (some of them are still there) I got messages saying my games of incredibox got deleted by the owner himself, so far so good
that mean i can't play the new mod on scratch anymore and i can't even play a single version on corea too but i get use to it when other mod going less than normal
Hey man, how are you? I was wondering if you could answer me what happened to bonus 3 of v9, or incredibox itself... was there a problem with the team? Or is the bonus on it way? Because theres almost a year ago they showed the bonus 1 and 2...
finally no more dogshit scratch mods plaguing incredibox, W sfsg and W scratch (even if it was an incompetent mistake on scratch's part, doesnt matter, good on them)
Bruh, this slur name aimn is slandering the crap out of me. He tried to make people go against me, and he even say some death, threats, and more disrespectful things.
Tbh scratch was mid anyway. A lot of the mods that were made were just bad and cringe. The only mods i actually do care about on scratch are sepbox and trillybox. And because their high-quality mods is the only reason i care.
Please don't send death threats to people over singing men with large lips. 99% of the time you'd send it to people who had no involvement into the situation anyways. All you'd do is make them want to double down more and go from accidentally removing mods to them actually cracking down on removing mods. Please don't give the Incredibox community a bad name that it's already labeled as.
