I can bring a slightly modified split light body kit 2ltr 206 GTI eccose...lol..where the meet? Lol...bear in mind I live in Linc's so wouldn't be going to London.

Jamie seeing you do those steel wheels encouraged me and my 12 year old son to buy a 205 Si (Aussie market Peugeot 205) in white and make it into a Rallye clone with the white steel wheels. My 12 yo son will be using it to compete in Motorkana rallies here in Australia! Cheers Steve

Your extremely lucky to be able still find the car of your youthful longings, let alone then be able to restore it J. Great choice of car, hate people who put French cars down, it's a bit like Italian cars, if you find a good one, don't let it go.

When you went outside I laughed. There was this row of white cars with black/dark wheels. I thought to myself it must be the "lack of imagination" car club lol then the wee bright red 106 with white wheels appeared 😎👍. I don't care about value, those other cars looked dull/boring besides the 106.

I knew that respray would last all of five minutes… You can never get-away with scrimping on paint! Also. In my opinion. The original alloys would make it look far, far classier! “Rallye’s” are for “Rallye’s…”

No chrome fuel cap..(lol) ,I have carbon filter mirrors but not put on yet..mine needs most plastic resprayed as it wearing off to the undercoat white primer. Nicest thing about mine is it has modified split lighting at front...my body kit is slightly away from body on drivers side ,only mm but still enough to concern..the inner step on 206 has nice metal (shiny silver colour) bar with Peugeot stamped upon it..nice looking car..all the youths love it..lol

i had a 106 gti for 9 years between 1999 and 2008, bought as an ex-demo at 5 months old. Loves that car and still the car i've owned the longest. Makes me want another one. Wonder how it deals with the e10 change.

I got a 2yrs ago, Peugeot 206 cherry red (I presume it's called that) ecosse Modified split lights ,body kitted GTI 2ltr for 350 and it drives like little dream.been a good car..my other is a Toshiba mr2 GTI t bar.cherry red(again not proper colour name) that cost me 1100 years ago.

I'd love to get a GTI or a Saxo VTS, I've got a VTR sitting in my garage that's a project that i'll probably never get around to finishing because it needs to much welding kind of lost the enthusiasm because I know a VTR won't be as much of a classic really.

Your 106 gti wouldn’t c were my stage 1 208 gtline went. Nice old girl but the driving position is terrible and the pedals are too close together. I agree the rally wheels don’t look right it’s a gti not a rally. I prefer the saxo Vts, nicer to drive and slightly quicker.
