I try not to be so cheesy, but every time I see you post about your eye I think about how far you’ve come and how happy I am that you are so comfy and open about it now 😭💕 It honestly is just another thing that makes you unique 🥰 And the fun fashion glittery ones you’ve been wearing are just so cool. You’re the coolest. Always cheering u on from Canada 💕🌈💫💗✨
Ahhh thank you so much lovely! The fashion ones have definitely boosted my confidence!! I’m so happy to see you also still creating and being amazing! 💖💖
@@NormaNight your are beautifill with your fake eye ... but you have a fake Brain too )))) I you do not speak about your fake Brain and when you losing your mind ?
I watched your other video "What's wrong with my eye?", you've changed so much since then, just wow. I like your acceptance of who you are, and the fact that you are a very creative person. I admire you. I know a girl who also has something wrong with her eye, it can also move separately from the other eye. But I'm not sure it's an procthetic eye.
i also had retinoblastoma as an infant. i was so insecure about my eye and always wished to have two like every other person in my family. i would always complain about it to my parents. 😅 but i learned to embrace it, and appreciate it, since i still have one eye left. :) i get surprised to find other people having the same condition as i do, and it makes me proud of myself.
This video is a delight! I also have a prosthetic. I lost my left eye when I was 5 in an accident. You make me wish I could have an eye collection but I live in the US and, despite my having insurance, no doctors that make them take insurance so it’s all out of pocket…my current eye cost me $2000 dollars. Stupid US. For years I was a photographer and a videographer. For anyone interested, this is actually a great hobby/ job for anyone with one eye. We normally see in 2D so interesting visuals come naturally for us!
I too understand the struggle of the US medical system! I would genuinely love to see your work as a photographer! I'm an artist myself so I love to try to connect with as many other artistic people as possible, and yes photography is most definitely an art! I know because it's an art I am not good at😂
I remember when you used to be so self conscious over it and now I'm SO PROUD you're living your best life and working WITH the fake eye in your fashion and filmmaking! We love a confident QUEEN 🥰
This update was absolutely enchanting! Between your joyful confidence and your treasure box of eyes, it’s beautiful to see how comfortable you’ve grown sharing all of this with us online. Loved this video! ✨
Kelsey, I've always loved how well you took this and owned it. What you have achieved is amazing, and the fact you make the effort to keep others informed in a relaxed yet educational vibe is fantabulous ❤
I had retinoblastoma as well, but in my case it was detected at birth, so i got to keep my eyeball. Maybe someday i'll try prosthetics, but i have so interiorized an image of myself without them that i may feel i'm not me if i use one. The main thing is that we survived it though.
its kinda impossible not to fall in love with you...love to see you doing the things you love and not let anything stop you!! another great video as always lol the walk down the stairs lmao...and also i hate driving in the city too big anxiety for real
So well done Kelsey! Great awareness. In my experience, opticians are way better for eye health than GPs and obviously they have the equipment to do proper health checks immediately if anyone is concerned. I love your little eye case! 😀
I'm gonna have to check the video again. You dance amazing. You wowed me. I thought about an eye patch. I turned it down. I had a cancerous tear duct years ago, those scars don't go away. You and I are cancer free. Your creativity is off the charts. You have incredible range. Your future is whatever you want it to be. I'm grateful I found your videos. Keep smiling.
You are so lovely ❤ and awesome 🎉 I love the different eyes you have - especially all the glittery ones 👁️ Lots of love from Scotland 🇬🇷🏴💜 Edit: as to driving, I’m disabled and have adjustments in my car to help me drive. Could you have additional mirrors? Maybe the lengthening ones used for caravans… they might help. I use extra wide mirrors due to limited mobility in ma neck and a steering wheel knob - Called Bob!
Very beautiful inside and out..love your accent..i was born with a lazy right eye..had it operated on to tighten the muscle ..had zero effect on my vision..more cosmetic than anything..eye no longer looks left when i look right..
woke up to this playign when I was sleeping, always been fascinated, thanks for showign all your different eyes, the movie "Last Action Hero" has a character with a missing eye i am super curious about people, their lives, and unique little details - thanks for showing this
I think your glass eye and no eye looks sort of cool. I would also encourage you to try using a pure white eyeball or an eyeball with a faded dark retina to not try and convince someone with a fake eye but make a neat style out of it.
Thank you for the video omg! I agree with people who wrote comments here. You're very cool and I like your pink glitter eye!!!! ❤❤❤ with love from Russia 🥰🥰😘🥰
I'm gonna take a guess, and say one of the reasons it's not a full spherical shape is because it makes it lighter and easier to rest and shift in the eye socket. when you think about it. and eye is a relatively light thing. So only having half of it and being convex(?) makes it easier to shift around and appears more natural.
Why You don´t have a Golden Fake Eye ? Also it would be very well an Eye with a diamont (Swarovsky) in. There are many examples for new fake Eyes: gold with a diamond in middle You can made the fake eye to a jewels I mean it would look very well and interesting best regards from Austria
@@NormaNight It would be not so high prices, The diamond can be a fake diamond (from Swarovsky) and the Gold must not be the Eye in all only a Part before with foliated gold.
You are so pretty and the prosthetic eye actually looks pretty cool tbh! im curious though.. does the empty eye socket ever feel uncomfortable/hurt? and can you put your finger into it?
Love your flower crown! And now I’m curious about the history of prosthetic eyes, and how they’ve changed since people started using them. I can vaguely remember a story of a historian finding the prosthetic eye of a queen (??? Or maybe a rich, prominent woman?) with a ruby inlaid into it. It was cool to read about how she used her prosthetic as another way of showing her wealth.
I'm blind on the right as well, driving in the U.S... it's unfortunately no less anxiety. No depth perception means you'll probably be stopping a bit later than a normally sighted person would, which to me, especially in stop and go traffic, is very stressful... especially to my passengers. I just try to avoid driving if I can; it's safer for everybody.
I know it isn't ideal to be blind on one side, but honestly I think it's kind of cool that you can swap out different prosthetic eyes to have different colors, it makes you really unique!
Yep, I’m blind in my right eye and I can’t watch 3-D movies ( they are just 2D for me) And apparently the pilot thing isn’t an absolute. (Maybe not commercial though.)
My best friend has a daughter with heterachromia! I think i have a soft spot for people with eye problems. Maybe its because im basically blind. Anyway i randomly came across your channel and i absolutely love your positivity! Im also a musician and would love to do a collaboration in the future!
Hello i am new here. Sorry about my english firstly😅. I have monocular vision so i can't see 3D either😅😅 very interesting videos. I can see on both eyes but not at the same time, i only use 1. And if i try (sometimes i do) to see with both eyes, i see double😅😅😅 but is normal for me. I always had the problem when i was a child, i went to 3D films at the cinema and everybody was shocking about the 3D effects and i was like: what are you talking about, what are you seeing ????😂😂 i see a normal film why are you all so scared😂😂. So i can feel you in a way❤. Your new song is very nice too❤❤❤
Hi.. Im also living with one eye,,, next week im going have a enucleation operation on my left blind eye.. I got a question i want to know,,, does the removed eye move after wearing prosthetic eye??
Can you (on the scooter) wear a bicycle helmet with a mirror hanging down? Would that help more so you don't have to turn your head around as much? Or is that just more work (adjusting it, weight of the helmet, etc.)
I have a question, this is the first time I've seen someone having a prosthetic eye and talking about it so I focused on looking at the prosthetic eye and it seemed to move and follow your good eye, is that just an optical illusion (no pun intended) or do the muscles in the eye socket still move the prostethic as if it were an actual eyeball?
7:45 "except two things, I believe: [something] and seeing movies in 3D" I didn't catch that first part, can anyone tell what she said? EDIT: It was "fly a plane"
Exactly! I made the same comment as you and felt like a freak writing it. I’m a 50 year old heterosexual woman… I’m just looking at Kelsey from a mum and artist’s view point, yet I can see how ut could be perceived as suspicious 😂
okay not going to lie I have one question I've noticed something and it's throwing me off do you mirror some of your shorts because I noticed that in some of your shorts that you have here that the I switches from your left to your right and back for a second I was thinking that both your eyes were fake and now I'm just wondering if it's movie magic not trying to be insensitive just curious
What are your thoughts on David Bowie? For years I thought he had a glass eye but my sister and uncle Joe told me he just got punched really hard and his pupil dilated and never went back to normal. I don't know which to believe.
He had anisocoria from trauma to the eye. I have it not from trauma and it goes back to normal size at times, its intermittent mostly at night and no one seems to tell me why but acts like its no big deal as they react to light normally
Oh yeah you are seeing slight movement. A prosthetic eye can be influenced by the movements of the muscles around it. It won’t move like an average eye, but it will have a little bit of movement. This can vary from person to person though as it depends how much muscle is left after surgery. For some people the eye won’t move at all due to a lack of muscles or the muscles not being in good condition.
Google: You'll be tested for what's called “monocular vision.” If the driver's licensing office is satisfied you have a normal field of vision, you can drive. & She said in the video.
I hope I get retinoblastoma in both eyes and go blind... I love drawing, go kart racing and laser tag and airsoft, not to mention video games, but I just deserve to get punished very hard...
