i used to have a pretty bad drinking problem, did a lot of coke, nd when i stopped drinking all the time, i got into running. i have done a bunch of marathons since. there is definitely something related to addiction and endurance sports, a connection. cant really explain it, but i would recommend anyone with addictions to give endurance sports like cycling or running a try. it will become your new more healthy addiction..

i loved this whole episode. i love seeing mental health get destigmatized, especially in men. society teaches men not to be emotional or whatever but it’s so important for everyone to be in tune with their emotions and to handle them properly. you can’t thrive in any part of life without a healthy mind. proud of you guys, thanks for talking about it!

It’s so refreshing hearing Jeff talk about anxiety and depression. I’m 24 and wrestled my whole life. Obviously I was raised to have a tough mentality. One of my biggest battles is anxiety and depression. Who would of guessed 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm in active addiction and have been stuck in this horrible cycle for years. I suffer from mental illnesses. Manic depression, bpd, bipolar, anxiety. It's so nice seeing people who go thru similar things be so strong and use your platform to spread awareness. Hopefully one day soon I'll be able to be strong and learn how to love myself and love life again..

Jeff, have you ever looked into Bipolar Disorder? Because of what you said on Patreon about living within a cycle of extreme highs and lows can be kind of a tell-tale sign. Plus, most people don’t hit a high then crash and burn...Just because you learned to cope doesn't mean you have to stay stuck in the cycle forever!
