I would keep it. Make the best out of it. I use a TentBox to go camping but a van would be great and someone will take it off your hands for some money. May not be what you want for it.
I wouldn't touch that van. It's perfectly stealth! It's also a solid workhorse. Just detail or cut and polish mate. Get it professionally patched up if need be. This van has been good to you and potentially could be for many years to come
You're absolutely right! It's stealth and solid! But it could look nicer, and maybe blue would be good. A fresh MOT should do the trick, and cleaning the inside and out is just a bonus. I actually love the van, I love owning it, however, I have to think logically. Can I afford to keep it? No. Do I need the money? Yes. Could I make some good videos out it? Sure.
If you do it, you should take the time to do it right this time; spray it properly and make sure you do the best job with it that you can. You have more experience now from before, so I think you'll be capable of producing a better result, knowing what pitfalls to avoid. Otherwise you'll be right back in the same position.
Mate , Iv been following for a long time now. While I admire your willingness to always improve and try new things you need to start learning when things fail. You have tried so many ventures and none of them had solid results. Its time to get as much as you can back and move on learn and forget. I mean this in the nicest way possible viewers are here to see you not see what projects you are doing. You have burned so much money at this stage.
I respect your view and your comment. I used to jump into things all the time without any preparation. I've got an extra 2 years of experience since I last worked on the van. This time, things are different. You can trust me on that.
That would be a nice idea, however the goal is to sell it. No matter how much I love this van (which is alot), I cannot afford to convert it, nor keep and insure it.
Convert it into a small camper, something simple like a kitchen counter on one side and a bed on the other, and if you're feeling adventrious you could install a window. Obviously very ambitious, but things like this cost time, money, and a lot of planning beforehand, definitely get some professional help if you do plan on doing this. Otherwise if you are looking for money right away, clean up the van and sell it, and use the profits to invest into something else.
Oliver Please see this van as an investment - a terrible investment. Do not waste any more money, time and effort on this as this van will not make you a single penny.
Luckily, everything I have gotten for the van so far is free, and I will continue to spend as little money as possible on it. The idea is to either sell the van and use all money from the sale towards a business, or use it as part of the business venture ie. Man with van etc.
