There seems to be a cap for gaining xp and tracking progression for specific/unique actions before they track again. With the ammo xp farm having done those lobbies, after 20 resupplies you stop gaining xp from it for about a minute before you get it again and there also seems to be a progression cap of about 3 or 4 mastery levels per round before it stops tracking. I suspect to try and create obstacles for people trying to farm. Having also created a number of custom portal maps, the main issue and the reason people have titles claiming "full xp" when it's usually restricted or moderate is the portal editor is trash (typical). When you're editing a map it doesn't update and show you what the actual xp modifiers are and the only way to figure out if you changed something that messed it up is to load the server and quickly kill something to see if it tracked progress. For Full XP it has to be pretty much vanilla PvP (no bots) you can't have any player/loadout restrictions, can't adjust team symmetry, can't change reinforcement values, can't adjust any performances like grenade throwing distance. You can only set the maps, the core mode, and I believe the era...if you do anything to change default settings for the maps like vehicles restrictions or weather events it'll change to moderate or restricted. For moderate XP it's basically the same as Full except you can set it to PvP AI so it backfills with bots, if you change it to PvE AI so that real players can't be against you it'll become restricted. If you change anything else other than maximum players from 64 to 128 it'll go to restricted. If you change the setting to allow bots to be in your squad it'll also become restricted. I'm not sure why the portal editor is such trash, but it'd be nice if they had a feature that'd give a notification that a change you made will affect xp type and also allow you to follow your own custom server so you don't have to remember your access codes to be able to play them. I made a custom server for maxing out the guns and completing missions, it's 128 player PvP AI on Redacted, Breakthrough. Even more chaotic than Rush where enemies constantly have to funnel down hallways. 20 rounds in a row so you start attacking then get to defend. Doing this method I usually get 200-300 kills in 10-15mins defending and end with 15-25K xp depending on how many ribbons I completed. Attacking I get 50-100kills in 5-10mins and get about 11-20K, just use smoke grenades and ammo to help your AI push into their base quickly. This has been the best xp farm I have found to date after the updates and xp nerfs.

@@bZaLDNI just made the server a couple days ago and other than the annoying lack of features I mentioned, I didn't have any issues making it. It won't show up in the regular portal browser for some reason, I'm not sure if I missed something that'll make it appear there, but if you do the search with the code it'll pop up for you. I've had some friends test it out on their own and they said it worked great.
I’m getting 50k xp on average with Blasco on standard redacted conquest. XP farming on portal is dead! It stops giving you xp as you mentioned after a certain threshold which resets roughly every 2.30 minutes, full match of heli xp gives around 15k xp. Please do some further testing because we really need some massive xp farm for this battlepass
50k average on Conquest! It's not bad at all to be honest. I forgot about blasco and the x6 device. I think dice made some stealth changes to xp farm as you mentioned with the threshold reset, I think they want us to grind the battlepass so that it runs the course of the entire season rather than just reaching the end and not have anything to do. It's also a way to thin out the content sadly, which is very disappointing considering this season is going to be 16 weeks which is way too long. Thanks for the Conquest xp tip I'll check it out!
Just tried and created pvp ai custom rush/conquest 128 on portal, xp caps again but resets every time you respawn, still xp yield is much worse than just playing the normal games
Just tested and confirmed it, the threshold is 6500XP under one minute, after that you can't gain xp for around 2mins (more like 130 seconds) and then it resets.
No matter what server type you are on, once you gain a certain amount of xp be it on a moderate or full server, dice cap it! And you won’t gain xp for 2mins. Moderate servers are super strict and only allow you to gain 300xp per minute, and even if you are on a full server no matter what dice will cap it for you. I’m not sure exactly how much xp it requires to reach the cap on full servers, but it does! and takes about 2 mins to reset! That “epic rush server” you spoke about says it is “full xp” which is correct, but after about 5 mins of grinding revives, healing players, throwing smokes (which by the way gives you a ton of xp) and resupplying with ammo crates, it does cap and nothing will count until the 2 mins is up!
Yh i think the threshold is set at 6500xp. It sucks that they've made this change. It's lead to all these xp farm servers to pop up in portal and the server quota has been reached, so can't access or create new ones. DICE really don't understand human nature and that is people will always look for a shortcut given the restrictions on xp gain rate.
Does the rush redacted map still work for the xp farm? If not, what's the best way for me to progress through the battle pass because i just got this game and want to level up
I've seen the Heli XP Farm 50k per match it says. I'm fairly new. Only played once and felt I barely ranked anyway. Im only 79 and it moved 1/3 of my progress only. I play 10 mins in a public lobby and get more.
I think it has to do sth with the combinition of actions like killing. In the heli servers your points on the Tab List dont get counted but if you kill someone then you get more points then just by flags but thats maybe also because of the cooldown
I see a lot of new servers popping & it's ruining the portal experience. My group couldn't start a new server due to EA's server capacity. What are all these "919 S6 AUTO XP PRO MAX" servers popping up? I jumped in out of curiosity & have no idea what it does. Anyone have an idea?
Yh basically these are auto farm xp, so as you spawn in the ai die automatically and you get xp. It's stupid because it's taking up all this server space so can't create any new ones
Yes there's plenty, although I just use the solo coop normal breakthrough mode on a map like redacted or spearhead to farm kills and attachments. You can easily unlock everything in one match more or less.
There is times when I throw a resupply pack, and I sometimes don’t get the XP for it, it just says resupply with no XP but I do start to get XP again later it’s just on and off things but I guess
Too bad, my computer broke six months ago, and I had to close battle pass season 5 in Geforce Now on my laptop on servers with helicopters, now I have to sweat(
Not sure what the code is but if you look for epic rush by reckleas, it's usually hosted by few other players it's easy to find in the rush tab of the servers
@@bZaLDN I agree fairly new to bf 2042 but a lot of hours on bf3/4 and wanted to just get all guns and attachments unlocked and get a feel for the game
I wish DICE would just unlock the new weapons straight away instead of doing these boring XP grinds. And, they could just offer a unique skin for the new weapons via BP unlocks.
The epic rush ones...it do caps once in a while but if you respawn or wait 15-30 seconds, it'll show again. Play as Falck for revives. Use Med-pen, medic or ammo crates, and nades to boost your XP.
@@bZaLDN Got to get to Tier 100 before week 14 so you can get a T1 badge...other wise, its not cheap. Already almost 200k a tier in the lower 40s. can only imagine when it hit tier 80s 90s or 100.
