As someone who has been looking into Roman History, I just simply couldn't believe that Hoyoverse decided to make a story after the dead twin brother of the mythical founder of City of Rome himself. So yeah if someone asks about what if Remus had lived and Romulus didn't THIS IS THE ANSWER. 😂
Recent discoveries show that Atlantis was most likely located in the Eye of the Sahara (Richat Structure), since back then Sahara was lush with vegetation and filled with rivers and lakes. Also, the flood was real and there were at least three global floods since the end of Pleistocene ~13000 years ago and during the Younger Dryas event when Earth was hit by at least one large meteor shower, the floods are called Meltwater Pulses. Khaenri'ah wasn't destroyed by Celestia, they destroyed themselves when their portals to the Abyss got out of control and started spewing out monsters. We don't know the exact source of the curse placed upon Khaenri'ahns, but it's most likely Abyssal in nature, and clearly Celestia wouldn't use abyssal powers to punish people since their goal is to keep the Abyss separated from Tyevat.
A very indepth video again. It's so interesting to see the historical texts genshin's writers reference for world building. You are very thorough with your research. I'm glad I found this channel when I did.
I strongly suspect that the cutscene is supposed to symbolize the traveller absorbing the Cataclysm. An implosion of the world being created if you will. Since an implosion is an explosion in reverse things should happen backwards. I believe this is the real cause for the ocean to be upside down and other strange phenomena in Theyvat. It is also possible that the present and future exist in the same timeline. The history from the Archon war may be a future that has not yet happened instead we are heading towards it. In the Chlothar Alberichs story quest he sees an Abyss herald before becoming the creator of the Abyss order but instead of becoming frightened he is in awe of it almost like his destiny is predetermined no matter what. Now how is that possible unless the future and present happens at the same time?
@@alexanderericson8628 if you’re talking about caribert quest it was said that it was the other siblings memories. The traveler was able to experience it because of the Ley Lines.
@@isaiahhaley4816 but the memory still show Clothar before he becomes Abyss order founder through the other siblings memory. Yes it is true it is not our own memory but Clothar did not yet establish the Abyss order, instead he sees his own creation and is in awe of something he not yet know is his own creation. Do you see the complication here? This heavily suggest that something else is going on or that Abyss heralds already existed before the order itself. Either way something is up
what if... the ship actually fly, and that city at that time wasn't under water? We know Fontain water level are risisng, so maybe there wasn't that much water before. We know there is a mineral that is used for antigravity, as we has seen in Fontain and Liyue. And we know after a high order deliver puinishment, people lost knowledge right? So maybe researchers in Fontaine are actually rediscovering this technology. We have fly on a ship before too. What bothers me is the instrument we found on the Melusines, because is a conch so large, it does sugest they could submerge...
I don't think that Hoyo would make major mistakes, but just as a tip. Hoyo only refer to 'gold' when it as something to do with the art of Khemia, so perhaps the art of Khemia has already existed from the age of Remuria?
This is actually a really good point. Especially with the connection to the dragon skeleton, as it is was connected to Rhinedottir (Gold Daughter) not the Scylla war. Thank you!
It has a one hell of a quality when it comes to World building and the Lore which for me, in my opinion, would make some Legendary Fantasy Writers like J.R.R Tolkien very proud.🥲
