I searched it up manually yet again to check for updates. Unfortunately it seemed like an obvious fake from the beginning, too good to be true. It was indeed just a stunt for those stocks. Garbage move.
Even if this was real, it would be a horrible idea as you practically need to keep your console cool so that it doesn’t overheat, if it actually goes to the heat it needs to cook a chicken, then the entire console would just melt and catch on fire
I’ve always thought that if they release it I’ll legitimately buy it and I still think that now, even though it would probably similar to the Ouya or a cloud only console
I handled KFC "gaming"'s tiktok during the time after this first video, the plan was always to release a limited run, it had been designed by actual pc builders and woulda just been a fancy gaming pc, sadly that all fell through as you'd be paying top-end gaming PC, maybe a great collectors item but ultimately in a limited edition run at potentially 1000s to the user, all for maybe scalpers to buy them all and up-price them. at least the team who made the promo did try their best to get some real ones made.
@InuyashaDogDemon Having a chicken warmer or any dedicated heat device is a stupid and incompatible concept to begin with. You definitely want to remove heat from your electronics so it doesn't fry or combust. A chicken warmer would most likely f-up the console. Besides, most people are very peculiar about keeping their systems in prestine condition to the point where smudges or scratches annoy them. Getting grease would certainly freak them out.
