Polly is a very lucky girl. I brought an older stray into my home and even though she only lived a couple of years more, I loved her and missed her terribly when she passed. Thank you for your loving heart.

I think so, too. Polly is such a sweet girl. You are a truly good human to take this senior cat into your home and give her the love she desperately needs. What a transformation! I am so glad you picked Polly! She is beautiful and full of life. I just put my Tortie to sleep yesterday. I am so sad. Like Polly, she was the life of the house. Polly looks so much like her. She also loved cheese. We think she was 18 or 19 years old. I had her for 2 years. The house is so quiet without her even though I have another kitty. I miss her so.😢

I had a deaf cat who would just meow loudly and walk around. She was loud. I have a special needs kitty with neuro problems effecting his front legs. He is almost 13 now.

So often a “mean cat” needs medical care. Dental problems are the usual culprit, but arthritis is up there. Also, cats who are withdrawn or fight at a shelter often calm down and get happy when they realize they’re in a safe home and won’t have to face that again. Please don’t let temporary conditions stop you giving a forever home to someone who’s less likely than other cats to get that chance at life and happiness. To the Power of Polly ✊

Taking in an older cat is great. After losing our 21 year old, we took in an 18 year old and she is doing great. Lizzie will be 20 in a few months and we are happy to give her a happy home.
