In this video we cover the topic that is Halo Infinite, from its campaign and multiplayer to how 343i to this day still doesnt treat the game how they should and just lets the community support the game for them with minimal effort while the studio works on the next reboot of the series when the last 3 reboots of the series we have had have been solid just run into the ground with a lack of content and effort...

what is mmr? is that the same thing as skillbased match making? cause i heard infinite has it and i dont play games with sbmm in non ranked modes.

I stopped playing like week 4 because I realized I could not unlock custom armors with out buying it and the battle pass was unfinishable. Forge also wasn't in yet, split screen co op was promised and just wasn't there, and the open world was cool but once you did everything that was it. I was a halo 5 dlc, that's all it felt like to me

I think match composer was pretty bad for multiplayer. There’s not enough people playing for the game mode selection they implemented.

Yeah i was playing the BTB sentry defense playlist last night and XLR8 was on my team one game and against me in the next lol. Truly dead.

tbh, the only reason I stopped playing halo is because non of my friends wanted to play it. I played on launch and had a ton of fun. "specially when I didn't listen to the haters" even got pretty good at it. but all my friends would rather play cod or Fortnite

calling current infinite "good" its naive and fool at best. its still far behind from a basic halo game that still is in beta, the quality you mentioned its only in the US, non us players like me have a hell in quality conections. Im glad that i drop this ayear go, nothignhas changed and worse with ppl calling the "conten" good its just depressing

I think they could threat it like the MCC. Abandon it for several years then come back and fix the game and/or add new stuff to the game even if it is things from past halo games like weapons, maps, falcon, features (assassinations) and make halo infinite like a “Greatest hits” type of game. I mean people are remaking maps in forge, implementing new modes, firefight and other stuff

To me infinite missed the mark but it still has potential to be a game you go to play classic halo maps remade with new graphics, cause some of the forge maps look really amazing almost dev made and the Dev made maps look really cool as well it be nice if they were something other than UNSC base #37 but the look really good

A reboot is what the franchise needs after 343 retconned the lore and made the tone and story mistakes of 4, 5 and Infinite. Infinite failed because it wasn't ENOUGH of a reboot. It was a half-measure. "All the dumb stuff from before still happened and the campaign is still pretty focused on it, but we want you to just kinda ignore it" is an inferior solution to just wiping the slate clean to some extent. You wanna win back the hearts of fans as a writer? Clean up your mess, don't just lay a blanket over it.

Terrible gameplay & weapon sandbox and 343 is obsessed with making everything look like Warframe or some shit. Literally all they have to do is make an improved Halo 3 and the game would be huge.

Wonder why halo failed. It's because 343 keeps making halo like call of duty that's how it keeps flopping. Making the gameplay like CoD and refusing to build the game properly...

343 detached military aspects over time. Monotized COLOR. Hired poop writers. All the MP games were schwetty.

Infinites campaign is more about 10-12 if you do a decent amount of the open world stuff I think I was refering to Halo 5s campaign when I said 4 hours but Infinites campaign is about the same length if you just do main missions

@@DammitCrispin halo 4 legit has perks and create a class from cod and killstreaks, while infinite has none of those. Also infinite’s desync isn’t as bad nowadays and it honestly feels more like halo than halo 4. Don’t get me wrong, infinite has its flaws, but it being “cod with a halo skin” is not one of them

@@T3rr4T3rr0r Halo 4 and Infinite for lack of better terms are CoD with a Halo skin. I loved the campaign on both games but multiplayer wasnt it for either of the two. People are in denial about how "good" Infinites gameplay is cause it's honestly not that good. I still believe Halo 5 was and is 343s best Multiplayer shooter. Minus the AR cause it was one of the worst ARs in Halo.
