It’s really depressing to see the main issues being the figureheads per usual and them spinning it in a way through endless corpo speech on how it’s somehow the employees fault what a fucking joke man 😭
Not available in so many countries, probably help kill this game even if it goes free to play, Which kinda sucks since It play slot like destiny 2 crucible
DOTA 2 battlepass was harming devs in some ways in the report some where. So basic they change to one time buy without need to do battlepass. As it has it pros and cons. One reason is time and content release link battle pass to instead working on the content as it need plan for battle pass as wasted time dev to improve content. I guess it harm players as well.
MW3 is, on paper, a spectacular game. But once you start reaching the higher ranks of SBMM you cease to enjoy the game near as much. Dealing with people who seemingly only play CoD, grabbing *only* the most meta loadouts to slide cancel around any map they find themselves on and seemingly make it a goal to ruin the day of anyone who just wants to play, who *happens* to have half decent aim. The campaign mode is medicore at best, as most of it is Warzone map segments turned into okay-at-best open ended missions, with the mansion being the best one, even though I don't think that one counts. Zombies is just as mediocre, being DMZ with a dark aether skin on top, and with PVP removed. Good on you for finding fun in it, though. Give the JAK-Thumper a try on the RGL-80. Fun times with the different ammo types on that nade launcher.
ehh Helldivers 2 was 40 bucks and that shit popped off, and had paid cosmetics. Sony fucked themselves and the devs kinda dropped the ball nerfing everything but it's possible. Paying for games isn't dead.
It's not hero shooters that's oversaturated, its FPS games in general, there's a lot of options for that. But when it comes to hero shooters, where they need to stand out is the heroes, and they just dont. They're all super ugly, bland, and uninteresting. I was willing to try it until i saw pronouns. I dont mess around with these DEI games anymore, i learned from OW. Nobody wants to play intentionally ugly characters in the name of progression.
How is it pro consumer to have consumers pay the full price for a game they play 2 weekss? No pro consumer is having a free to play game and you continue play it if you like it and you put money in it if you want to but no one forced you to.
TLDR: can you suggest some hero shooters for me? I always hear the hero shooter market is saturated but even though I love the genre there just isn't a hero shooter I play rn. I don't enjoy the gunplay of valorant, nor the incentive it gives you to *not* use character abilities because you have to buy them if I remember correctly. Paladins was really fun but I think it's unbalanced and I stopped playing because it felt like power creep was just getting worse. The time to kill was getting too low, I would fairly consistently lose to teams with no Frontline because they didn't need a Frontline, they would just incinerate me and everyone on my team in an instant and get on the point that way. I do prefer games like paladins to cs though, which is to say I like the added movement options, higher time to kill, and respawns, which makes it all the more impressive that rainbow six siege hooked me the way it did. But as someone with 1800 hours on R6 I can tell you it's not good and it's getting worse, I don't have time to write out all my problems with it, just know that I have them. Overwatch is made by an infamously bad company that I don't want to support, and I agree with Shammy's take on how it feels like each hero has a play style rather than you have a play style with each hero. Like there's one right way to play them, it's just not that interesting. Overwatch 2 was a dumpster fire of a release, I don't want to support that. Tf2 doesn't really do it for me. I think I'm just bad? Plus the aesthetic isn't that cool imo. There was also that huge bot problem, idk if they've solved that yet but tf2 just isn't very interesting to me, and that's like all the hero shooters I can think of that I've tried.
@@paytonestrada7746 it is not a lie, other hero shooters came and died and ones that could differentiate themselves stayed like OW, Valorant, Apex Legends, Paladins. I think it is same thing as moba market where only 2 games survived.
Yeah, there is definitely not an oversaturation of hero shooters. They've been saying that since it was only overwatch, paladins, and eventually apex being talked about. Then battle royales blew up even more and completely overshadowed them, and people were saying "we're tired of hero shooters" like they were even in the spotlight that long. I've been playing the closed beta for marvel rivals, and I can't wait for the full release. It's near what I was looking for. It's almost reminiscent of the magical feel that launch overwatch had.
I played the Marvel Rivals beta and had way more fun than I thought. They pretty much lifted all the modes from Overwatch, and the combat is pretty good. The 3rd person perspective took me a few rounds to get used to, but I think it works well with the heroes. The art style is also fantastic. It's not coming out until next year, but I recommend checking out some videos on it.
I wouldn't put Persona in the same category as Last Of Us. Persona legitimately has fun and deep gameplay. Yes it is a heavy story driven series, but you can tell they actually put some serious effort into the gameplay
Gameplay is Cake the story is frosting. If you only have frosting it is a bad cake. But a cake without frosting is probably worse than a slightly smaller cake with frosting.
Nooooo, peak video game is a 3 minute gameplay intermission in a 2 hour movie.
