What Happens At Puppy Picking 

I can’t imagine rejecting a puppy for being too curly. I’ll take any puppy that wants to be loved.

I remember I had first choice of puppies once and I had my eye on one particularly gorgeous little gal but there was another little puppy that just wouldn't get out of my face. She picked ME and that was all there was to it, lol. She was a fabulous dog and my constant companion on many adventures. Still miss her.

When I went and picked up my puppers there was 2 ladies fighting over one of the three puppies. They got mad said what u want to fight over the puppy too? I said nope I'll let u sheep pick your 2 and I'll take what u dont want. I think I got the best one🤗🤗🤗. She is awesome. All dogs are its the people that are the problem!

I’ve got an 8-month-old standard poodle and it’s so interesting to witness the doodle craze happening! Great job getting them ready for their families. My pup’s breeder also did the early touch therapy, sound acclimation, and lots of socialization. That’s so important. Congrats on your lovely dogs and beautiful set-up.

We got our F1B boy Chester 4 years ago. It was the 3rd litter the breeder had after we put in our deposit - they have several goldens/poodles they breed since they are a true breeder. The breeder was in Kansas, about an 8 hour drive from where I live. This litter had all the puppies picked, but the last person backed out so the breeder contacted us. All we wanted was a boy (we have always had 1 boy, 1 girl dog at the same time and our previous boy passed). Lucky for us the last puppy was a boy so we jumped on the chance. Chester is by far the most affectionate lovable dog we have ever had. Also our first goldendoodle. We will never have another breed than this. Seriously the best we've ever had in over 30 years of having really good dogs.

Okay you are simply an amazing breeder No really you have covered all your bases dotted all your i's and crossed all your t's... You have done necessary training and socialization since birth I'm so impressed And personally a German Shepherd person but I'm so impressed with your program I can't believe it I wish I could find anybody that would program half as good as yours I'm so tired of going and seeing dogs chained up outside No or dirty water no food filthy themselves piles of poop and stuff everywhere and no more done with them whatsoever or really any interaction and that seems to almost be the normal I too I'm in North Carolina and I have guns for a South Carolina to look at German shepherds in the last three or four months It's almost I want to say ridiculous Wow I'm just so impressed I'm going to be addicted to your videos for hot minute I might even check out your programming person if that would be something that you would allow I mean wow I am so impressed I just can't even I don't even have all the words I just know that you are exactly what I'm looking for when I'm looking for my puppy My question is is the first pick second pick a height and scam more or less because breeders often will say second best or or second first pick? What the heck I mean my thing is to not get enough of the tail end because then you get whatever's left and you're excited because they're so cute and all of a sudden you have a dog and you know nothing about it and you hope you're going to train and mold it and you end up with a nightmare I've got two right now total accident on my part I thought I was doing all the right things and blah blah blah nope nope and nopity nope! I only really screwed myself got scam got robbed and got two GSD litter mate females which are strongly bonded more than any you've ever seen and completely impossible to work with and they're getting older now they're like 14 weeks and I got them they're probably like 17 or 18 weeks now and I'm just beside myself and all aspects I cannot separate them to train them their names or to sit or any simple commands I cannot put a leash on them theyll chew it off of each other as well as collars... That's why I'm so impressed with the program You're everything that I would be if I was breeding and then some... And I'm sure that,- That warrants a good deal more money for the pups too... am I right? I mean it should that's a lot at work like that's like like do you have a time for anything else because I am just reduced to ... so chasing my tail ever day And I have even got to the point where I'm being told what to do by the dogs I'm beside myself I'm so upset with my situation here and I did it all to myself thinking I was pretty informed and that...- But here I am in this hot jam of a mess trying to figure it out every single minute of my day is doing something for my two original dogs my 8-year-old red pit which currently pancreatitis I don't have enough time in a day to do absolutely anything Im spending time either with red pit which is sick with pancreatitis at this time or my other female white pit or these bonded GSD puppies (ALSO FEMALE) 😳 without being able to least if I don't feel like it's okay to take them outside So they have not been socialized at all basically Just getting serious So I've just given them both their 1st baths and found out that both of them have "umbilical cords hernias"!!!!! 🤔😳🙏

I really enjoyed your video on your puppy picking process. I am looking for a puppy in my area and many of the breeders have you put a deposit down, and then based on order of deposited you choose a puppy within days of birth. When I asked about differences in personality they say all of their puppies have great personalities and I am sure they do. But aren't there diffence between puppies of any given liter? I wouldn't love getting a super hyper puppy when I really want a laid back one. Maybe their personalities are more interchangeable and it has more to do with how they are raised. Could you offer some advice? Breeders can absolutely choose how they want to have people pick their dogs maybe the at birth method just isn't my style

How much are your puppies? We have a Great Pyrenees. She helps alert me because I am loosing my hearing. We have a one daughter that has some developmental delays and she has had heart surgery to help repair her heart. Your puppies and dogs remind me of my late parents dog that also passed away.

How do you know how curly their adult coat will be at 4 weeks?

I hope you know the genealogy of your dogs and send genealogy with the puppies if they are not fixed. Lots of dogs got messed up with bad breeding and tracking of said breeding.

Imagine if someone has a puppy and they don't like the way it's hair sits or something so miniscule as that. I fell in love with my little Yorkie right away. He has a real problem with gunk in his eye. I wouldn't change him for everything you could give me.

What's wrong with the dogs? Why do they look so strange?

No single responsible breeder gathers all the owners together. That's not how puppies are matched with the owners. You should find the right homes based on puppies temperament (although it has to be consistent, which is not a case with mixed breeds), and after the selection of the owners, you should pick which puppy goes to whom, based on the owners lifestyle.
