I have been a patient with Mamedica for 11 months now. From my very first contact to my most recent 9 month follow up with Dr. Howells, every interaction with every person in every department has been friendly, professional, and reassuring. Mamedica made the whole process as simple and efficient as possible, and their continued support has made my journey to better health a less lonely one. The whole team make you feel a part of a family, there’s never any stigma or judgement, and has opened doors to conversations with my own GP about medical cannabis and its benefits - something I never thought would ever happen. Thank you, Dr. Howells, Malaika, Charles, Jack, Ellie, Dr Satchitananthan, Dr Sarwar, Dr Punni, Collins, Shaial, The Dispensary Team, and anyone else I may have forgotten - You guys are the best! ❤
Hi there, thanks so much for reaching out and sharing. This is so lovely, we're so glad to hear that you are happy with your treatment here at Mamedica. 💚✨
I had my first consultation with them on Monday, was approved on Tuesday, invoiced for my first script on Thursday! Now I'm left hanging over the weekend waiting for my first legal flowers lol but I'm in!!! Have a great week. I know I will.
Hi there, thanks for reaching out and sharing. We're happy to have you onboard with us! 💚 Once payment has been made, please allow 3-4 working days for your medication to be delivered. Please feel free to reach out to us if you require any other assistance! 💫
@@unknowncrypto596 Hi there, thanks for getting in touch. Initial consultations are £150 with follow-up consultations costing £75. The cost of the medical cannabis products can vary widely depending on the type, dose, and quantity prescribed and can be discussed with your doctor but on average patients can expect to pay as little as £5 per day for their medication. For example, within our range of prescribed medicines, we offer flower from £5 to £14 per gram and oil from £30. We also offer discounts on consultations for patients and veterans receiving benefits. Please let us know if you would like more information. 💫
Had my 9 month recently with Jurgita, really nice lady & a credit to Mamedica. & Thanks to Drew as well for also shining a light on UKMC, I would never have known it was even a thing if his video didn't pop up in my feed last year. Also really appreciate these consultation videos as they help a lot especially for those who have bad anxiety, the video you guys did showing the initial consultation really helped stop me from just cancelling mine when I was worrying too much leading up to it last year :)
Mamedica are amazing drew been with them for nearly 4 months now. The follow up was great got another follow up in may and just felling so much more comfortable with mamedica now. Thank you all at mamedica ❤
@Tizzypj so in my case it's more mental health. You need to prove that you have tried 2 types so for example medication and therapy. If you can get that record.
@@brianwright1980 I was stabbed 5 months ago and am struggling badly with my mental health and cannabis is a massive coping method for myself, I was with a mental health team which were advising me to cut down so therapy would work but sadly due to the pain from the stabbing and my mental health I just really am struggling to cut down as such
I see the "illicit Black" market as a...... FARMERs market Keen enthusiasts producing exceptional produce, as a livelihood. The media stigma behind the word "illicit black" is draconian. Looking forward to the right to grow my own medicine Saving thousands And even legalisation inline with the majority of states in america. So budding entrepreneurs are no longer deemed criminals And experience horticulture enthusiast are celebrated Not imprisoned.
@@JaSon-wc4pn I definitely support both recreational and GYO access; however, from a medical standpoint, it’s hard to fully endorse GYO from a patient perspective as a true medicinal option (because medicines are dose controlled and regulated), and so, in absence of testing and regulation, at best GYO is more like self medicating, than it is considered a trusted and consistent medicine. That’s not to say I don’t support GYO, but a lot of patients simply would not have the means or resources to produce good quality cannabis medicine at home. Let alone consistently. When I refer to the illicit black market in my original comment, I am simply referring to the fact that black market cannabis is illegal; and I’m making no inferences as to its quality (we all know a lot of BM is exceptional quality, but equally a lot of people only have access to poor quality BM). You’re absolutely right though that a lot of “BM” growers end up being the very same people who produce medical quality cannabis for pharmaceuticals; the difference between the two is often simply a job interview and a contract.
As a medical cannabis patient here in the US , I will say I like this video , this is the kind of video I wish Drew would do much more of , it shows the responsible stance of the Dr.'s there plus helps people who might be afraid to get certified to see it is not that scary or rough . I personally am a huge proponent of the medical cannabis here as in PA it is tested very strictly for purity , so I know my weed is clean and safe and not mixed with fentanyl from the streets . The only thing I don't like about the program in UK is the limitations on amounts you can purchase , that drives folks to the streets . I actually like when I can't call BS on Drew , better video worth watching .

Thank you for these videos, they are very helpful in seeing the process. I've been incredibly happy with Mamedica to date and am very happy to recommend them.
Honestly Drew you know I give a lot of critique on your vids, but credit where credit is due you're a good lad for using your platform for this purpose. Hope it keeps helping you.
Currently with curaledf my first clinic i joined and i have been looking to change to mamedica and seeing this one with drew is a good one as you show that you know ur patient and question him i felt you treated him like a normel person and not a youtuber thats good points from me good one guys for trying to make us feel more comfortable going to you for help

So glad we only have to do 1 time a year in the US. Very easy. My state has a limit of 2.83 gams of flower a day or .84 grams of concentrate. It's always either just enough or more than enough for me. I know plenty of people feel like they need more, but i love the amount. It keeps my usage in check for the perfect amount to not destroy my tolerance.
Move north to PA , we have a pretty good Medical program here , and some of the for real . for real best cannabis I ever consumed to boot . Might be worth the moving cost , Lol.
@@timc333 Yeah, I almost went to school out there. A small university called Leigh Heigh, but I didn't want to leave the state. My Dad had cancer. It would be nice to be there, though. Enjoy!

Mad that you seem to see the same Dr each time (maybe just for your vids) I'm just about to have my 9 month video app and I'm on my 3rd or 4th Dr I've only ever seen the same Dr twice. My first 2 appointments 😂
This whole legal process is very professional, although that’s almost stopping me as it’s so easy to throw a few autos in the garden amongst my plants. Surprised only one person has spotted them in 12 years
It's honestly not as formal as it looks. I'm not with mamedica but my appointment was about 5 minutes long and then I was prescribed 30g. All they wanted from me was what prescriptions I'm on and for what, in total it was just under 2 weeks from application to having the weed in my hands.
If I’m with another clinic and want to switch to mamedica, do I need to provide my summary of care or do they get it transferred from my current clinic
So do patients get to choose a strain monthly or does it cost to swap medication, i don't understand how patients can vape the same medication over and over and not become immune to it or decide its not for them, i smoke black market cannabis at the moment and no matter how good it os i cant stick to the same strain over and over again. Im debating getting a prescription but kind of confused to the process and options available to a patient i already know im eligible ita just the confusion that deters me
You can swap strains. I do so every month. Whether you pay to do that depends on the clinic. I'm with Mamedica and I don't have to pay extra just to change strains.
@@MedicatedMentor ive already signed up and received a call of them today to push my assessment closer, got my call on 6th and the lady on phone explained all options and fees to me so i now understand after writing the original comment lol
Do you think people under 22 might be receiving more cold shoulder from doctors in aus? I know my doctor here never suggests anything other than a new diet antidepressants and psychologists
