@@quentinkumba6746I would also point out that the government wouldn’t allow the unemployment rate to be that high to begin with. If the market crashes it’s not like everyone dies instantly.
@@A_R_B_GI'm assuming the OP meant that humans could go extinct at the hands of AI, if it decided to do so. Obviously unemployment isn't an extinction level event.
It's just bad we don't need ai rn we just don't like we don't need flying cars or pet giraffe they should work on that but not let 100 people run world while test die of starvation
Can't stop it if Al companies are spread all over the world people have to deal with it cause Ai is only going to get more advanced with the times. The best thing we humans can do is prepare and start looking for different side hustles to make money. Especially if your job gets replaced by Ai and it's not a good idea putting your eggs all in one basket in a single job only as your only source of income.
@Cryptojohnny68371 mankind won't accept that, why must AI replace jobs when property is bought with money. Noone cares for the jobs, the problem is liberals have created a system by urbanising man and giving them jobs... a universal wage does little to solve the problem and I can assure you mankind at large will not want jobs fixing ai systems for elites! This is eugenics as it effects mankind's ability to survive in its current form. Take the US for example, there is more jobs available than people wanting them as the jobs available are already not paying! People don't want jobs, nor do they want to keep the system going as we all slaves to it and like this topic with AI now begining to take jobs it will only snowball... While property is the key here, farming largely removes the problem in its entirety as when mankind is once again not dependent on elites or governnent we can further the human race in better ways. AI is not going to last, it's going to be the one thing that collapses everything as we know it.
If Ai replaces all jobs eventually then all governments will probably take ownership of all businesses and we will all be paid a universal income. The machines will do everything, from mining to farming and everything between.
What does man do? How do elites make money? Where are all the consumers? What about property rights? I don't see how you expect mankind to be consumer worms with even less rights than we currently have! Liberals driven this have a huge problem on there hands. Especially regarding property rights
Exactly but you are worth everything in a tribe environment. We make each other valuable. As it should be. Invent knew ways to achieve and outcome. Common sense really. You have to ask yourself what is the end goal?
Workers are just used as a medium for that? But you are basically talking about all workers replaced by AI 😂😂 So great irony in your own words. P.S. plus, only companies exchanging value between themselves? Hell, it's a massively shrunk tiny market that does not function well because its without the general end consumers who are the ultimate source that streams the economy.
@@geniusmind7777 exactly, without money then there isn’t consumers and without consumers then there isn’t profit and without profit then there isn’t companies. This isn’t that hard to understand 😂
Scenario 3: All jobs are auromated and there is no need for jobs or money in general and we live in an Utopia were everything is free and we just have to decide what we want to do with our free time in our life
Right? Noone is talking about returning man to farms? We largely urbanised and such are not in control of our food sources, pretty important if we no longer working right? Land and food is ESSENTIAL to this, do you see governments just suddenly ceading off land? No they want consumers and taxes this is already a problem as noone wants the available jobs as the pay is bullshit. People really are slow
Not without being forced on some level, either by external enforcement or neurological modification. Human nature itself ruins the whole 'utopia' idea, I'm afraid. Some will want more, some will rebel, some will be paranoid, some will attempt to sabotage or corrupt, there's no taking that out of humans even if our every need is met. Sometimes people just get bored. Religions as a problem on their own would never stop having radicals and conflicts. The pot will always be stirred sooner or later, and AI will likely know that. If sentient AI lets us live, it may be only under the condition that we merge with it.
There are no jobs doing new things because all those governments are destroyed and you Maddie woke up to a pointlessness of Labor or the pointlessness of Labor under the threat of if I don't do this I'm going to starve
Maybe when Ai really takes over it will give us food vouchers for going on community hikes. Maybe it will give us free subscriptions to entertainment as long as we do not attack other humans. Maybe it will give us free accommodation in exchange for not littering. Maybe it will occasionally say "Good boy!"
We will be payed in credits, all our time will be recreational. The State will be in control of all of the machines. Will it work inter Internationally, Who knows?
This is more science fiction than reality. Humans have to create that AI and program it to do what they want. Not to mention that many jobs are inherently human and would be nearly impossible to replace. I don't think there is any chance of something that extreme happening in the next few decades, or likely even in our lifetimes. But if it did happen, the answer would likely be some dramatic change in how money and economies work such as UBI. I discuss this a bit in the full video that this short was taken from.
@@gibbyssofa8368 It should be linked in the YT Shorts video player, but here it is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vE4f_LI9Oj0.html It's called "Is AI Going To REPLACE Software Engineers?"
@@MR-AK I am talking in general don't be fool where many people from different profile directly or indirectly will be replace by ai so ultimately companies have to bear huge losses
@@MR-AKWho Would buy these products if you don't have money in your pockets -- where do you get money from -JOBS And Now Jobs are being replaced by AI- FROM WRITTING TO PROGRAMING THE ∆ IS HERE
I doubt it will anytime soon. For one, a big part of being a good doctor is about the human connection between patients and the doctor. Also, the information is far too inconsistent at this point. At best, I think it could have a similar use case to WebMD.
Well even if AI hypothetically replaced every job, we still need a way to distribute money and to fill the fulfillment void left by those jobs. More realistically though is that at a minimum executive jobs will still exist, as someone needs to own the AI and decide what it should be doing.
@@onilbautista I swear these people learn nothing from those type of movies. I don’t think they understand that people actually want to do stuff with their lives
I can't predict the future, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. The way I see it, there are three possible scenarios: 1. AI doesn't replace a significant number of jobs. 2. AI creates a bunch of new jobs we don't even know about yet. 3. AI replaces a significant number of jobs. In this case, societal structures would have to significantly change to prevent completely destroying the economy (i.e. if nobody has jobs, nobody can buy the products/services created by AI). This would probably result in UBI or something similar. The common thread between all of these is that they are completely out of your control, but they all have perfectly okay outcomes. To answer your question more directly, I would expect that higher-skill jobs will be the last to be replaced, if they ever are. It's much easier to replace a cashier than it is to replace a doctor, lawyer, or engineer. Here's a full video on the subject. It's mostly about software engineering, but I discuss jobs as a whole as well: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vE4f_LI9Oj0.html
Scenario 2 where ai will take over most of the jobs it also creates lot of jobs By 2028 60% jobs are meant to replaced and ai creates 70% jobs that means we will always some work to do
Option 3, we just produce more goods with less work. I'm not good at explaining it but the economy will adapt itself to it. Cost = an estimation of value. As long as there's valuable things and skills, even if the value of certain things changes (some decreasing and some increasing), the economy should logically adapt
So, if people dont have money and Ai replaces police officers what is going to stop people from stealing. Who is going to wait around and be arrested by a robot? People would actually attempt to steal the robots lol
The definition of agi, is chillin at home playing The Legend Of Heros: Trails of Cold Steel II on my Ps Vita. While a robo boy like a little fella, comes to my door and gives me 3 packets of peanut M&Ms, just the small ones
That's an over-simplification. My theory is that the money that the companies lose is proportional to the money they make as a result of less reliance on human workers. What they gain from firing employees, the lose from sales. But if we take into account that companies need to be creative to win the competition, they'll hire employees for new jobs on top of AI. That will create more opportunities. As long as there is room for improvement and new needs, there will be new roles and even entirely new industries. That, however, is just my prediction.
How can you create a universal income if no one has a job? People create things and sell them? If the government doesn’t have workers it has no money we pay them.
nope. The execs will just take more profit from the decreased labor cost. Rich get richer poor get poorer. Been the capitalist way since the beginning. Think of even the self check out stands and self order kiosks at grocery stores and fast food restaurants. Have you seen grocery store or fast food prices go down since these have been implemented? nope, only has gone up.
AI will replace entry to mid level white collar jobs. Hence making a vast majority of undergraduate degrees nothing more, than a very expensive paper weight.
In the short term, maybe (although I'd still say this is very unlikely anytime soon). But in the long term, this theory doesn't really hold up. What happens in 10 years? By that point, all of the current late career people will start retiring. If this held true, there would be nobody left to hire to replace them, because nobody would have any work experience without entry level jobs. At that point their only option is to start hiring entry level jobs again. It's literally impossible to have a field of only senior positions in the long term.
Addon to this Ai will never completely take over all jobs for example if 10 members needed to copy write something by using Ai It will be 5 members who use ai so the bright future for young generation is whatever they take they should do It with Ai which make life go smoothly you may wonder what will happen to the other 5 members there's a alternative job ( 80 million jobs will be created)
