I have an idea. How about making a little part of Super Bell Hill between every world 1 level,so that you have to beat that to get to the actual level?Sounds cool, right?
By far my favorite 3DW video of yours! I didn’t expect so much stuff from normal gameplay to work in the world map, since I thought that was programmed completely differently. And yes, would love to see you make that into a platformer lmao
So I’m wondering something, as some people may know If you skip World 1 and 4 and don’t save their sprixies, they don’t show up In the World 7-Castle cutscene or the Ending. But what would happen if you skipped the normally unskippable sprixies? (2,3,5,6, and 7) it’d be cool if ZXMany could try this out
They'd probably still not appear. I remember going to some of their respective castles and the final boss while they were residing by the rock at the start of world one, and not only did they not appear where they usually would in the map, but they did not appear in the levels themselves either. I figure it would be the same outcome here
4:23 You can actually find 1-UP mushrooms in some of the maps! Like in world 2, you can go around the edge of the map and find a 1-UP mushroom and collect it!
Green Star 0:12 Mushroom 0:20 Bell 0:22 Fire Flower 0:23 Bell again 0:27 Mushroom again 0:49 Bell again 0:50 Fire Flower again 0:52 Star 0:54 Cherry 1:22 Cherry again 2:05 Checkpoint Flag 2:10 Goal Poles 2:11 Goomba 2:23 You can beat Goomba 2:32 Bowser Jr. 2:42 Fury Bowser 2:44 Prince Bully 2:49 Fling Poles 3:24 Plessie 3:41 Time 4:00 Dash Panels 4:08 Mega Mushroom 4:13 1-Up Mushroom 4:23 P Switch 4:31 Warp Box 4:37 Paper Mario 6:00 Clear Pipe 7:01 Mario: Bruh 7:28 Last video 7:39 Mario: Bruh (Again) 9:07 The End 9:27
4:23 There's actually already a 1-UP on the World Map without modding in World 2. So clearly the 1-UP mushroom item is coded exactly the same between the world map and the levels.
Sounds like getting power ups on the World Map was something that was going to be in the game, but wasn’t fully implemented and only 1-Ups were available to collect.
Fun fact for new players of Super Mario 3D world: The reason that 1ups work in the world map because ,as I have seen, there’s a 1up hidden in world one’s world map. (tho I think that’s just one, there may be more) Edit: the 1up(s) in the world map(s) gives you a life like a normal one in a level.
looking at the powerups on the map here... my best idea is that it was an unfinished scrapped idea that was a thing, for clearly... they do function on being grabbed, it's just that they weren't fully coded to be brought to levels, so... if it was well... fully coded, then suppose we could possibly find the many powerups scattered about, making collecting the one you'd want all the easier, as no level needs to be played! but... suppose said idea was scrapped sadly.
You can skip some worlds in normal gameplay, which allows you to rescue less of the fairies, which affects the Bowser cutscene. But it would look rather silly if you didn't rescue any of them ;)
If you made a pipe from world 1 all the way to world Bowser or castle, that goes through every other world in between (allowing the game "World _" text at the top left hand corner to change), on a save file where you haven't yet been to those worlds, how would the sprixie's call foe help go when you land? Would they all go off at once, one at a time, or not go off at all since you didn't land in those worlds?
8:25 I think it would be cool if you do a world map with super bell hill, and you would probably be able to add custom levels like you did in other vídeos with fanmade levels.
I’ve always wanted to jump around on the world map structures in this game but sadly the game is really restrictive on that, I’d love to actually see some world map platforming!
Could you see what happens if you placed super mario 3d world enemies(like prince bully or meowser)in bowser's fury? (Or what happens if you put the world map of 3d world at bowser's fury)
I figured out how to make double cherries work on the world map! Just turn the world map into a level that has double cherries and whammo double cherries on the world map that work! I got you didn't I... Anyway nice video
I think if super bell hill was the world map for world 1 then completing a level could unlock a bridge that could get you over there would be a good idea
You are the best RU-vidr ever. You upload so often and the videos don't feel rushed or bad, they're great. You are so good at hacking/modding and I wish I could do that lol. That is such a good talent to have. If you see this, how did you get soooo good at this? Like where did you learn to do this or did you just do trial and error at home in your free time?
Is it possible to have Mario or whatever character you are playing as to have normal level physics on the world map? Or better yet, is it possible to have Bowser's Fury physics in 3D World and vice-versa?
i discovered a way to see the Retro Luigi at 5:36 (w/o using a warp box ofc) basically you go on top of the stairs of world 3's castle (right before the camera pans on the level), put the camera as high as you can (w/o snapshot mode) and then with snapshot mode you go a little bit furthrer up and turn to the left. In the top-right corner you'll see it edit: you don't need to stand on the stairs, just close to the castle
8:04: ZXMany: it usually spawns you back at the first level of the world but theres no world 1 here, so the game just crashes The Top-Left of the Screen: WORLD 1
I accidentally found a glitch in youtube. There was an ad, and when the ad ended, RU-vid thought it was the video that ended so it gave me replay button. I clicked on the screen not the replay, and now the video progress bar is yellow.
