I’ve played this scenario with twins, one always good and one always bad. The bad was more fun to play with but despised working as a adult because it was against her no responsibility trait. On a different note, I wish you had the option to move your child orphans into other households instead of immediate game over.
Oh definitely, I liked in Sims 2 being able to have a house full of toddlers be taken away so I could have my lesbian sims adopt them 🙈 it was like an Annie storyline 😂
You can do it in normal game now, they get put into an inactive household out of world and you can just put them in another like they got adopted or smth
It'd be neat to do a similar challenge in older Sims games and compare the results. Just, get a Sim to only do actions from one category in each game and see what would happen to their relationships, skills and mood.
Kevin did two playthroughs in The Sims 2 where he let them follow all their wants, and then made them follow all their fears! It was gold. The fears and wants system in TS2 was pretty advanced for the time!
The big difference I've seen from making a sim grow up with all the negative traits is that they'll auto-queue more negative social interactions during a conversation, regardless of autonomy being on or off (as sadly that doesn't affect conversations which is really annoying). A sim with all the good grow-up traits does generally better at their job, plus you get a unique nice introduction to strangers that is a decent relationship boost if I remember right. That's pretty much the major differences I've noticed.
I will say I did this experiment some years ago with children that weren't mine, only acted mischievouly around them and I do not kid when I say 90% of them grew up with the evil or mean trait (yes, even Alexander Goth) It was pretty satisfying lol
This was fascinating. I have literally in all the decades of my life that I've played this game never thought to play this way. Made me look at the Sims a whole new way,
The “EEEEEVIL, EEEEEvil” reference made me flash back to Eric idle to Brendan Fraser in Dudley Do-Right, so if you intended that, I followed. Thank you 💜
I was thinking recently how I really wish that those parenthood pop-ups came with at least one negative response so you can be a truly terrible parent. like, if "is it bad to eat dirt?" had an option that said, "nah lil dude, you keep eating that dirt." couldn't even find a mod that added any. so sad.
Big fan of this kid 😂 Also, video idea!! I think a video where you suggest a bunch of challenges or different ways to play would be awesome! Not necessarily like legacy challenges but stuff like making a summer camp for teens and playing through a summer with them, would be really cool!
This is why I stack the house full of (uncontrolled) adults if I'm doing a toddler grow-up challenge. XD Usually my challenge sim is friends with Grimmy by the time they leave the house at young adult stage. This is especially true if there is a BBQ on the lot.
I feel like we’re all a little violent with our siblings sometimes. 😂 When I was about 7, I threw a phone at my older sister and she threw it back at me, it hit me in the face and I got a black eye 😅😅😅 (and then my friends dad told me that my eye was dying and I’d need to get it removed and get a glass eye and I was scared of him for a week)
I did something similar once, I was halfway through the 100 baby challenge and was a bit bored of everyone being good. Having an evil sim was sooo much fun! I think he ended up with all in red as well. And his grades were horrible! He didn't kill anyone though 😂
No matter how much I try, mainly in TS3, I can never seem to bring myself to choose the Mean or Evil options in Sim-to-Sim interactions when I'm playing a Mean or Evil Sim. Quite annoying. :/
You cracked Me up with Your commentary , per usual. I look forward to raising some " Dirty, Dirty, Dirty , Disgusting, Revolting, Devil Children " in My game now. I have used previous sims games to make sims of people that pissed Me off, but end up feeling sorry for them after a couple games of sim torment. I will make it a goal to raise at least one bad sim.
This actually had me laughing uncontrollably. Especially the biting 😂 Also a side note, is there a way to get the toddler back somehow after the adult/s have died? . . . Asking for a friend
Not without reverting to a previous save. You could make the same child Sim and have the relationship edited in with some mods, but the dead toddler can never come back. I saw it happen in James Turner's Get Famous Rags to Riches where NPC Holly Alto's first child was lost to the void as a toddler when Holly died in a fire.
pleaaase can you post more plumbella variety videos with all ur friends??! i love all ur videos on all ur channels but i just love the variety ones soooo much cuz it just seems so natural and u have so much fun in them, plus ur absolutely hilarious! cheers love u
i’ve created a villa-like build and locked a few couples in there (both in the sims three and the sims two) i like to put murphy beds, like flame floor objects from sims 2, and a fire place with a rug in front. oh and of course, a pool. they share a living, dining, and bath room but have their own bedrooms. it only took 2 hours of gameplay including the build in the sims 2 for all but one of them to die. it was beautiful
Frances McCullough the Atrociously Evil Witch is cackling at a community lot and making your Sims 2 stutter with the enormity of her evil delight over her decsendant
TBH I subbed to plumbella because I feel in love with her accent and just wanted to hear her talk. Jesse you could literally talk about shit and I will listen with my undivided attention. Luv yous hen.
Can we find out where social services sent her? If we can find where Evil ended up we can continue her story. The fact the game ends when the adults die just shows its an Adult life simulator. In my opinion an NPC should arrive to collect the child and then you should be transferred into another household with the child.
The game just deletes the household, and thus anyone child-age or lower stops existing. The household will survive if there is a teenager, however. The "social services" message is just flavor text, much like how it'll say something similar if a baby/toddler/child is taken away. Technically, you killed the lil' sim, but the game isn't going to say as much.
I've noticed several trends between me, plumbella and Alice Oseman lately and it feels like some conspiracy about the British isle triangle of ace nonbinary redheads.
ok i havent watched plumbella in a minute so i missed a lot but im catching up and jfc she needs to go back to this color with the bangs this hair is… like… actually stunning on her
i wasn’t a hitting child i was a scratching child😭i used to have naturally long nails and a cat obsession which i still have but whenever someone did something that made me mad i’d scratch them like a cat😭
Have you played the sims 2 for DS because its an absolute chaotic masterpiece. these people force you to run a hotel in the middle of a desert in exchange for supposedly fixing your car but they just steal the car so you cant leave. everyone and everything tries to take over this town for no reason and the towns folk are simultaneously completely unfazed by this and going insane. a mob boss rocks up, the FBI show up, have a breakdown and then just never leave. you've got robots, yetis, aliens, cults, a rat man superhero. sims randomly call you up to tell you they love you and then set their rooms on fire. you have to play it, its ancient but so worth the crappy graphics
PLUMBELLA! do the cottage living chicken challenge, invented by me. You have to have 5 (or more) coops full with chickens, all different breeds if you want, and before your sim turns to elder on short lifespan you have to get your friendship bar up as far as possible .
What a fun experiment. Poor mom but she named the kid aptly. Too bad you didn’t save the family to your gallery. That way you could play the game as if another sim adopted Evil.
