Mr yeester is my favorite, he has all the good qualities a youtuber needs: straightforward video titles, interesting video ideas, a name that takes 5 times to search for because of auto correct and to top it off, just the right amount of memes
My theory on what happened here would be that water was shorting two pins that come directly from power supply and the short protection system on the psu kicked in and prevented the system from turning on. Pretty neat
its abit late but still more informative than the verge. clean water works as a insulator in some cases. snow is probably pretty clean so thats probably what happened
Nice piece of content bro . Next video u could just bring the same stuff running, into the snow storm and then let’s see how long the system can survive and if it stops then u can go for assessment of the damage and then to rectify those damage with minimum possible expenditure or tools 🛠️ .. good job bro . Thank me later for the idea 😊
Currently, we have a snow storm in Istanbul (Turkey) and i can’t explain how happy i am when i see that the lowest temp of my Ryzen 3 2200G is 21° C (I’m using the stock Wraith Stealth Cooler)
The biggest enemy to pc parts are electrical shorts. water is less likely to permanent damage parts as shown in the video, but that depends whats in the water, as for snow, its just pure water, no metal like substance in it.
Now bring a working PC outside and cool it with the snow without the water affecting the components? (Assuming that there won't be any condensation between CPU and the socket?)
i guess the gpu and screen is frozen lol. next time build it inside and then take out in the snow to see if it works better, also normal drinking water has minerals or small salts and metals that damage computer hardware, but snow does not have any mineral since water evaporates and leave behind the minerals so even if you let it dry for a while it wouldn't turn on, that's what happens to phones. but if you wanna fix it put your hardware into distilled water and use a machine that gets rid of it, I don't remember what it was called though.
Can i ask about the module that turn from hdmi to 40pin laptop monitor where did u bought it? And also the laptop monitor can the module still running at 60hz or it's free for 144hz 240hz? I have no experimence about that module
Hi mryeester, you know how I can update my Windows7 to Windows10, because my PC is not that old, my PC has components that a gaming PC would also have, I just don't know if I should take the components out and put them in a PC with W10.
I hope you already knew this, but when trying to boot when the system was drenched you did risk shorting the entire system and thus frying it all… So don’t try at home
you can still try at home just make sure its not snowing/raining/-45 degrees Celsius on a cold winnipeg day at 4:35 pm while your brother is making pizza and your other brother is playing roblox hope this helped
you shoud give this stuff out instead of potentialy destroying it ( didnt watch the whole video yet) there are some people out there having much worse pcs than what you showed of here btw love your wids
Genuine question I replace my old motherboard to a H510-A pro but when I assembled the new parts it shows no power when I check the power supply it works with old motherboard and I have no clue what to do any Solutions
Ok haven’t washed the vid yet but I’m the intro u see the snow melting in the motherboard snow is water bro the motherboard ain’t Finna have a ice cooled bath
Hey can you please tell that if I am out on a trip for 1 month and then when I come home will my PC will going to work or not please any one tell me thank you 👍
Note: Don’t try this at home, you are responsible for spending over 1k-2k bucks for 1 PC & you don’t want to mess it up! (Edit: it may had survive a snowstorm but one of the components will get exposed by the snow & possibly making power use of computers reduced)
