There's some theory regarding of why katana zero story outcomes can't be altered regardless of player action at certain degree. Even if we know what gonna happen, we cannot change the outcome of it (you cannot stealth except in one certain mission, you cannot save rigged scientist, you cannot avoid bomb rigged door, you can't kill V early on his studio, you also can't prevent killing the physiatrist.) Is that zero trapped in his own personal hell. Remember what V talking about Chronos ? When the user died, they died physically, but their mind don't. And so there's Theory that zero already dead at certain point in the future, and when we player, play the game, all of the story that we've seen is what zero experienced. weve just trapped in the endless loop of zero memories of him doing his mission and his endless killing.
All obvious and non-falsifiable theories. Think whatever you want, i personally don't think its an excuse for the lack of options or the frankly terrible story the game had. It should have just focused on the gameplay.

in fact, it was possible to loop the boss on a couple of attacks. I've been studying this boss for quite some time. and there's also a bug where you can die and still keep moving
I was disappointed that when you pick an ending, it lets you start right back where you left off...the game should have made you do it all over again, like Furi does.
I don't think the fainting is canon. Similar to how in studio 51 you don't literally just drop dead when you lose the minecart. It's just a gameplay thing.
I wish there was another way of opening door instead of cutting her head off for it You can make it like open her eyes and plant her face to scanner and boom problem solved (i mean shes dead anyway but its quick way anyway lol) but i also wish that there was another way of changing story where you actually work with them instead of working for psyhic as zero learn about truth So like zero knocks out headhunter instead of killing her and suddenly he just spares life of headhunter as he thinks about it and he decides to go back to apartment and little girl gone yada yada but its part of changing storyline where headhunter slowly start helping out Zero (same goes for Eleven for sure) but anyways im excited for DLC
