I feel like by the time 2061 comes around there will already be a new device/animal crossing game out and in any case it's very likely that by that time we'll all either be playing the next animal crossing game with grand kids or younger cousins in our old age. Rendering the switch an obsolete collectors item for console collectors.
By the time 2061 comes around, I would have probably long abandoned this game/Switch for whatever new updated version of Animal Crossing/device they came up with (as long as it’s not some type of frickin’ motion VR shit) since you got no choice BUT to move on to a new device once they stop making games for whatever console you have, I also realized I’ll be in my 40’s by then.
I'm not GameSam but I do have an answer for you On the 1st of January 2061 at 5am animal crossing will no longer work and the game will kick you off, this is because the nintendo switch only supports the date up to the 31st of December 2060
