What Happens If you put your car in Reverse (& Neutral) WHILE driving forwards?

What about accidentally hitting the parking brake? I personally do not like the location of the switch, opposite the convertible top and just down from the dynamic mode switch. Will it immediately lock up the rear wheels if hit on accident when in motion?

Please don't select Reverse whilst moving forward, in any car. This can cause serious transmission damage. It also states this in the owners handbook.
