Hey everyone welcome back to my channel and to the first video of 2021! I took a bit of a break, sorry for that but we’re back!!!! New year new us!!1!1!! For today’s video I thought it would be interesting to look into what happens to youtubers after they “expire.” I feel like I always wonder what happens to huge youtubers when they inevitably lose relevance and I don’t mean that in a shady way. RU-vid as a platform makes it so new people can join and have just as much of a chance to go viral as anyone else on the platform, no matter how long they’ve been around and how large their channel is and I think there’s good and bad that comes with that. The good of course is that anyone has the potential to create a platform on here, the bad is that no matter how big your channel is, you really never have concrete reassurance that it’ll last forever.
So in today’s video, we’ll be looking at all things ~expiration~ when it comes to youtubers. How they expire, why they expire, what they do after expiring or how they come back from expiration. As well as youtube as a platform and how the way it’s built enforces that expiration in the first place. We’ll also be looking at some youtubers that i think serve as an example of the parts of ~youtuber expiration~ we’ll be talking about today because while i think expiration is common amongst youtubers, the context behind their expiration is super subjective and depends on who we’re talking about, and the details also explain their moves since youtube as well.
