@@KGR_r I think a pitbull could be just as gentle as long as they were trained properly these Rottweilers seem to be really desensitized and understanding thanks to their owners it all depends on the dog owner
@@herooflight7931 Yeah I think a huge portion of the fact pitbulls are overrepresented as dangerous is because dumbass owners who want a "cool dangerous dog" immediately go for one. Rottweiler owners tend to be more mature in general from my experience and the fact they're statistically "safer" says a lot
@@whatareyoudoingthis4 depends man i got a pitbull who can't even hurt a fly and is just another baby in our family but with paws😂 but the thing is once i got attacked by some robber he immediately put the instinct into work same if some dog or human attack you can't really judge dogs. but the point about idiotic owners is true especially in usa what i seen , i live in Czech republic and here is thousands of normal good pitbulls

Kenai obviously loves her to bits and his body language is so gentle even though he is itching to snuggle with her...lifting his paw while she pets him is so cute! Very responsible way of introducing dog and Cozy...she will have an amazing and very special relationship with all of your dogs ❤
What a beautiful moment. Rottweilers are so human oriented. You are obviously an excellent trainer and provider for all your animals. I have come to the conclusion that animals are better humanitarians than humans. Especially in the state of our society and country these days. Can’t praise you enough. I had 2 Rottweilers. They were the best thing in my life.
So good to see the true character of the world's best breed. Rotti's are gentle and only want to please, they're also very protective, so once you understand them as much as The Rotti Ranch does, they're jst an amazing dog. Thank you for sharing.
When u look at a rottie u can see their soul and see that they are truly thinking about what their doing and want to express it the only way they can. Really are the guardian angles of the dog world for us. Wish more people could see that instead of the media and”Karen’s” ruining it for the rest of us
Lol you are the karen here. Nobody else. I would keep this dog miles away feom the baby. Atleast i'll be cautious and vigilant. All the "awww" can turn into "ohhh $hit" in matter of seconds.
Babies actually grow up with stronger immune system when dogs are around. It's always a win-win to have a medium-large dog around. Hey, you got someone to defend the house too!
Ich hab auch einen Rottweiler gehabt, es ist vor Jahren gestorben. Wenn ich heute noch an ihm denke, kommen mir die Tränen. Eine verkannte Rasse, so gelassen, gescheit, lieb, auch angepasst. Es ist nur der Mensch der ihn verdirbt.....

This reminds me off my rottweiler I used to have. He loved babies and children ans when I walked down the street with him he would cry after them. He was so gentle with children and wanted them to pet him all the time. He was the definition of a gentle giant. It was difficult when he passed on but he had a good 8 years.

I feel for Kenai. I too am extremely awkward around babies. Parents show a baby off, you don't know what to do so it's like "um do I just shake hands with it?"

One of the ones that gets super bad reputation for nothing. By the way the others that get a bad reputation are English Bull Dogs, French Bull Dogs, American Bull Dogs, German Shepherds and American Pit Bull Terriers and these are for nothing also
I was once hiking and met a couple with a Rott. The dog got a bit excited, it kind of lunged toward me but not aggressively. The man tried to restrain it by pulling the leash, and went down in a fraction of a second. Rottweilers seem to not be aware of how powerful they are. This one here is trying to be gentle, and you can sense the power even under these circumstances. When he first puts his paw on the baby and the owner says No, its face is saying, I'm sorry, but I try to be a gentle giant. 0:11
I love dogs. Had them as a kid to adulthood. Been around, Pits, Bull terrier, Cane corso, bird dogs, and other breeds. But would never leave my toddler alone with Pits or Rotts, or Canes
When I was a baby my grandmother had a Rottweiler and he protected me every second of every day, even from my own parents 😂 when I slept, when I played with my toys, eat, doesn’t matter I had a 24h free bodyguard. Since I’m from Montreal, the dog’s name was tiga (petit garçon) which meant little guy.
Male adult lions kill cubs after taking over a pride, some breeds of cuckoo birds push the other eggs out of the nest so it can have all the food, tiger sharks eat their siblings in the womb, I can give plenty of other examples of animals being extremely cruel to one another but it isn’t necessary, animals are just as cruel as humans.

your pup seems very well behaved. be careful with that collar. my nephew lost the tip of his finger when he started walking as a baby and got his finger stuck in the collar. the dog just got up normally and walked away. pop, my nephew's finger popped off. it was sewn back on and all is good years later. just a friendly warning. p.s. I use prong collars for training. no Ill will towards the type of collar
