The last intp I dealt with was very awkward while simultaneously letting you know she's very awkward and also being very embarrassed about being awkward all at the same time. Sometimes I'd think "you know, if you didn't mention it, no one would notice lol" - intj

It only works for me if they do indeed display the self awarness, because sometimes my INTP brother has just said things without realizing how it comes across. INTPs do you usually get better at it over time tho. Also I'm thinking about this only as meeting someone new and them acting like that and how I would feel about it. I generally like INTPs though - Another INFJ
Actually we Italians use "forte" in the exact same way. We say "Non è il mio forte" which is literally the same as the English phrase "It's not my forte" but this is the only context in which "forte" means "something I'm good at" so the mistake is understandable for a non-native speaker.

@@nabsnabster3488 the character in the movie is an INFP but here in this actual clip it is an INTP. Basically you see, it's a little Ti moment where the thought process is displayed to the person their talking too
I've had conversations that very much feel like this 😭 I correct people because I'm like "oh I know about this thing", and then while I'm in the process of doing it I realize it comes across as mean or annoying
