What Happens When Homer Becomes Selma's Husband? | Selma decides to adopt a child, so the whole family goes to China.| The Simpsons S16EP12 "Goo Goo Gai Pan"
@@SomethingAboutSashimi what's the point of saying the wrong word as him when you could understand the sentence even if the word wasnt right grammatically
@@AntonMarolevski wait are you talking about like later seasons where it shows the future? because barts still like 10 or 11 later seasons and shes just a baby
@@Cob9-1 No, it was casual episode in the present, BUT she was a little bit older. Patty and Selma were making her to play on many instruments at the same time, while she was whispering to Marge to help her. I don't remember which season
Lisa "Adopt from China" Uh why can't Selma just adopt another child? It's not like just because the parents of the first child took their kid back doesn't mean she can't go adopt another one
She could, but as the comment above me already mentioned, yeah it’s tricky. In addition to their comment, in the US, if so much as one document is filed correctly, any biological family can take the child away from the adoptive parents. It’s a lot more complicated than what I said but yeah. In China it’s illegal to give your child up, so parents can’t be caught dropping a child off at the orphanage so the chance an abandoned Chinese child will be found by their biological parents is slimmer than in the US I know I’m blabbing a lot for just a cartoon but just wanted to add that since I am adopted
@@ShaolinDavenot sure where you learned that but adoption overseas is much harder than adopting in the states I say this as someone who tried to adopt overseas
She appears in an episode were Marge bring Maggie around and they show Marge a bunch of talents Ling can do like playing the flute on a yoga ball and whispers help me to Marge as she leaves the room
@@SY-mn6qb yeah every man doesn't like them plus homer can improve it's just that every time he does society breaks him down like in the crayon one he wants it cause he gets depressed by society as he is astrosized and when he goes to work early he payss more attention in his work than sex and that makes mrge sad and stop his improvment
The baby is forced to learn many thing after she can walk and talk. And when the Simpson family visited her the baby Ling asked for help silently, but ignored by the Simpson
If she can't have kids anymore it doesn't have to do anything with adoption, she can adopt whenever she wants, why does it have to be done before she can't have kids anymore?
N later on there's a ep where Marge visits her sisters and see's baby ling a little older. N the young girl is forced to do tricks while playing instruments to entertain them. N as Ling is doing that all at the same time she whispers help to Marge.
Jokes aside international adoption is one of the worse. There’s so much to it when it comes to buying a child of another race that people tend to look over due to there entitlement and how adoption treats us adoptees bc we are seen as property.
I was hoping the clip would be as Selma signs the paperwork Homer goes "I just felt a cold chill over my very soul." Then Lenny says "yeah sloppy joes will do that to you."
It should be known if yoy adopt a kid and already sign the papers the first parents CANNOT take the kid without a legal battle and odds are thier losing rhe battle if they try to take the kid its kidnapping
That depends on the state. Some parents have up to 6 months to change their mind. They still have to go through the agency but they can take the kid back.
i always wonderes where that kid came from....member that episode where homer saw selma naked and poured bleach in his eyes and bart asks homer why hes pouring bleach in his eyes and after homey told barty, Bartholomew grabbed the bleach and started pouring it into his ears 😂
