Hi, i have been diagnosed with tmd.using orthotic splint for 3 months. But not feeling better with it. I have symptoms like headache, neck, jaw clicking and eyepain for 10years. My doctor is asking me to move to phase 2 orthodontic treatment. I have a lateral shift of my mandible and a midline shift.lateral shift and lordosis of the neck,History of orthodontic treatment 14years before. Could you please tell me why this orthotic splint is not relieving symptom?
