Thank you! I judt got my tama yesterday and i wasnt sure if it was charging or not lol I found out if you go to settings, click the third option down and then the second option it will show you the battery level and will also have a difference on screen when you plug it in!
Hey Dani! Did you work out a way to 'hibernate' the Smart, or d'ya reckon we would have to just leave it be and hope the battery dies and not the Tamagotchi? :-) Also, if you leave the battery dead for too long would it damage it? Keep it fun! :-)
So far, I have not figured out a way to hibernate the Smart :( I was lucky this time that just the battery died, and not the Tama! To my knowledge, the battery won't be damaged if you leave it dead for too long. However, you can damage the battery by leaving it on the charger too long!
I lost the USB charger that was included in the box, i have another one at home, its nearly the same length and i still charge it through my laptop. Is it okay if i use my own USB charger or do i need to use the USB charger included?
hello! im just curious with the charging. my first tamagotchi smart had a battery problem and i got the replacement and lasted for a day. can i charge it in a usb 3.0 port? since my laptop only has those portz can i use a powerbank for it too?
@@n0uf-836 it's looking like yes! But I realized a big down side to these built in batteries. Like our cell phones and laptops at some point the battery will lose charge and will die. But there is no where we can take them to get them replaced so we wont be able to use them again ever once they die🥲 but the tamagotchis that requires us to put batteries in have lasted so long because because all you need are some new batteries which are cheap and easy to find in any store so they last much longer! We can still play with versions that came out in the 90s! But these newer ones 🥲 look like they won't last
Yes, you can pick up where you left off! However, I have found that sometimes you'll think the Smart's battery is dead, but it's not completely dead. In that time, your Tama will keep going. So keep an eye on it!
