A male Drow would never get away with giving a female Drow commands like that.

Lore accurate dialogue would have seen Minthara putting Nere in his place

... and that, boys and girls, is why in my play-throughs, this guy's head will always end up as a decoration in the mushroom king's reception room.

So, nothing. Nothing happens for bringing Minthara to Nere.

Man, both Nere and Minthara look so small in the grand picture after just finishing act 2.

I like to imagine Nere, minthara, z'rell and balthasar were their own batshit crazy evil adventuring party until fate got the best of them.

Imagine a Drow male actually speaking to a Baenre like this - she’d dismember him, feed his limbs to spiders, and then poison the remaining witnesses

He talkes about Minthara to Minthara as she listens disapprovingly

There is no way on God’s green earth that Nere could ever talk to Minthara, a noble female drow, like this.

Nere is a perfect creepy Drow guy, but my favorite creep is still Balthazar, he just channels King Diamond so wonderfully.

After siding with Minthara and kill the druids, you can go through mountain pass and then safe/recruit her in moon towers. After you kill Ketheric you can visit Nere with Minthara as companion without cosmetic Mods. Minthara will not go if Ketheric Thorm is alive,this has been fixed with last patch

This is not intended what so ever. Therefor there are no voice lines or anything of the sort. Makes sense.

Well that was anti climactic. Wonder if this is fixed now for him to have a proper reaction not only to realize he's talking TO Minthara but that a male Drow would be ground to paste after castration by a rusty spoon to dare speak to a female in such a way.

Minthara refuses to go back to any Act 1 map after you free her, this is either a mod (there is one that let's you have her as a companion regardless of story) or a bug. Quite the deceiving video.

the way she watches nere stroll up at 0:04 is hilarious to me

in patch 3 theres a line that say "Minthara will now join combat correctly after being recruited to camp" and also others line about nere + minthara. Maybe is changed?

Looks like there is no special dialogs for this occasion. Minthara is not recognized and provides no extra lines. So basically, boring outcome.

You're not meant to bring Minthara/Halsin back to act 1. Of course nothing will happen.

Sorry but all Nere can is look hot wile he has ash on his face and kills people half his size. I like him tho because of that. He is so laughable. He fucks everything up, and still kills the last remaning hands that could help him (thinking like the chaotic evil he is they could serve as his shield even) and he still throws it all away so willingly giving in to his anger. And he does not see that not even the Absolute wants him in the end. I pity him for his stupidity, but praise him for the entertainment he brought me.

This isn't "what happens when you bring Minthara to Nere." You can make virtually the same choices with a non drow character. Just some babble about their insane queen thats different. Clickbait nonsense.

The way Minthara is designed at least after last patch that you can't go with her to Act1(Mountain pass, Grimforge) , nor you can walk around with her round Moonrise towers, o essentially it's a partial Act2 and Act3 character, it's kind of boring you can't recruit her in act one convincing to hang around with you from the begining...

Long comment from a Drow lore fanboy: I have to shake my head at all the people who think a male Drow like Nere would 100% always bow the head to a female Drow, and claim that the interaction in this video is not lore-accurate. The characters aren't currently standing in Menzoberranzan (there are no other Drow present to enforce Lolth doctrine). Some of Nere's possible dialogue heavily implies he joined up with the Absolute to escape subjugation under Lolth, and considering they aren't standing in a place with temple guards ready to enforce male subjugation, it makes sense that he would exert autonomy here. Besides, he might have been raised Vhaeraunite, in which case: rather than bow and grovel, he'd instead be very likely to stab a Lolth priestess in the face during this situation. The brutal matriarchy of the church of Lolth is a major aspect of Drow lore, but it is by far not the ONLY defining factor as to Drow interact with one another.

That last minute is so unfortunate, immersion shattering even 😂

The male drow that you unfreeze are much more law accurate. I played as a female drow and could basically abuse them while they just apologised and called me mistress 😂

I like how this is one of the big baddies in act 1 but the goblin camp felt way more challenging than all of him and his goonies.

Nere is one SOB I enjoy killing every time.

The chatacters don't say anything when you're controlling them. Should have talked to Nere as Tav with Minthara in the party.

This guy was dead for me. I partially blew up the wall and went to find more explosives, came back and he was just dead. Not that I minded. Easy free loot.

Nere solely exists to either be decapitated by the player or turned into a zombie by Balthazar.

People being disappointed must be reminded that there’s no way to bring Minthara here before Act 2 so this must be a mod or bug You think the devs would miss an opportunity for her to tear Nere to shreds with dialogue if that is how he talks to her? XD

Yea, I think I was Shapeshifted (with the mask) as a female Drow and he was still an ass, might have to try it again on another character just to be sure but if so, Larian missed that particular dialogue

This needs to e patched. She is a Female and she is already worked for Ketheric Thorn so there should be extra dialoged options.

I don’t think this is possible in vanilla since Minthara refuses to go back to any act 1 areas (including Underdark and Crèche).
