Bulk is my favorite to go through. I used to buy mtg bulk 10,000 card lots and would usually find a couple dozen cards that were accidentally included or not realizing they were valuable and that is where the money is. You nailed it when you said do this a couple thousand times and it adds up.
What I really appreciate about your channel is your honest you explain the details and what you can do with your bulk versus just trying to buy peoples bulk like a advertisement. I love the content and support your channel. Liked commented and subscribed. 💪🏻 thank you!
Just subbed. you know that feeling when you see someone and think... thats a stand up guy, thats what made me sub. He also seems very knowledgeable about this, i llok forward to his videos in the future
Definitely never saw it in that perspective but extremely helpful and transparent of the process! Thanks for always being so genuine bro 🤙 Keep up the amazing content 💪🦖
Danny thanks for the awesome info! I think it's great to hear someone talking about how bulk is actually sold. What to do with it and how to start doing it yourself. It certainly is a lot of work. If you have the time then it can be worth it.
Wow, thank you so much for the information. I have been trying to get into the buying/selling game for a while and videos like this are just what I've needed.
It's interesting to learn how all those large lots actually work from a business perspective. Thanks for sharing and as always - Keep up the great work Danny.
Nice vid! I just got into collecting and selling, you are right this is a ton of work. But when you love cards and appreciate the artwork, it isn’t that bad at all. Keep up the good work!
Great video, I’m really interested in starting my own shop whether it be online or a physical store front and your videos are a really good insight. Keep it up.
This was really good. I've always been curious where bulk goes and why stores want it. I am very much a collector, I only know the very basics of the tcg. I'm sure ive unknowingly sold many valuable cards in my bulk over the years. I think I'll start doing more research before just tossing my bulk in a box for years...
I know I’m rather late to this, but your video is inspiring. I want to really get into this and I would love to get as much info as available in learning about bulk purchasing.
Thanks for the info! I remember when Custom Catcher shot up last year to $12+ and there were soooo many in my bulk. People need to pay attention cuz there’s $$$ in there sometimes haha.
This was very informative and incredibly insightful. Thank you for the knowledge. When selling bulk to you guys does it need to be categorized by common, uncommon, etc? Even if it isn't necessary I'll do it in the future, but just thought I should ask.
Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. It is hard to find folks who are willing to share such information so candidly. It definitely sounds like a lot more work to organize and sell bulk than I had imagine. Really enjoying your content lately. Look forward to more awesome videos =)
Your videos are insanely helpful, my question is how do you afford the shipping on lower tier cards where they maybe cheap but their prices add up. For singles
How do i get into contact with you about unloading some bulk ..love your videos super informative and have helped me learn a lot keep up the great work
You got my subscribe :) I am trying to start a business myself in Israel, we currently have no one buying bulk and I'm trying to figure out how to make a profit off of it so i can be the first!
I'm really interested in starting my own side hustle doing this, probably a stupid question and one you have answered I'm sure a million times over. Would you be better buying bulk from an online market place, or highstreet store boosters to get going?
I started making kids packs of 50 cards. Specifically for little kids under 7. They are cards that can be thrashed, still get the kids involved, and they get 50 cards for the price of 3 booster packs. Kids LOVE to destroy pokemon cards. Lol. And I put like 16 regular rares and regular holo rares so they feel like they got cool stuff like older sibling did
What's up buddy, love the content you put out. I would like to get your professional opinion, I currently work at a dealership 7-5 and run a mobile mechanic business, my kids recently got into Pokemon which brings me joy just because it was part of my childhood. I want to start a small side business buying and flipping Pokemon product but I'm unsure of what to start with. Now I did buy 10,000 cards to start bulk lots for my oldest and I to sell around where I live. Now I know from experience it takes time for a business to grow I would like to get your thoughts on what to start with because eventually when my daughter gets to the appropriate age I would like to give it to her.
Is it worth organizing commons and uncommons by set and selling them as " Series X, Set Y bulk"? or is that too much of a headache trying to look at set symbols all day?
Can you remake this video since covid was such a looming threat? I'm new to this space and would greatly appreciate an updated video. Love the content nonetheless, keep it up!
I tried to do this for year's. Unfortunately, my area is poor and there are vary few collector's in my area. The few rich we have, scalped the entire time during the virus; causing many to just give up on the game.
Where do you go to find out cards are good for competition or is hot at the time? Trying to figure out to do with these 9k cards before I just send them in for trades
I sell all my non holo bulk for 0.25€ and reverse holo's for 0.50€ each. I check basically every card also, if it's value is below these numbers, they go up to these since it's my minimum. For that, the cards everyone gets, bulk or not, gets send in a toploader + sleeve, bubble wrap etc. To ensure a card is 100% in best condition. (Which kinda explains why I can ask these numbers)
So i'm from Europe and I was wondering something. I'm looking to maybe buy packs and sell some stuff by opening the packs and hoping to make a profit (opening the packs for the thrill and to expand my collection). But now that you talked about selling actual competitve pokemon cards, I started to look them up and I saw that a regular uncommon quick ball sells for 30 (euro)cents (at the time of writing this comment). Now to the thing that I was wondering. The same quick ball card is listed for 2 eurocents by several people (who have made (some) sales with all positive feedback) and eventhough they are listed for 2 cents, why do people still buy them for 30 cents? Hope you could give me some insights on this, been watching your videos for the past couple of days to do some research and it's really helpfull 1 more question before my rant is over (lol). What would be the best thing for me to do (considering I want to only sell singles that I get from packs for profit), selling the quick ball for the price trend, so 30 cents (as a new seller with 0 sales) or to also list them for the 2 cents like some other new sellers are doing? And eventually trade in the real bulk cards that no one wants I know this has been a long comment with lot's of questions, but I would love some of your insight and tips. It is really appreciated Thanks in advance!
Hey Danny! Thanks for the continued advice and content on getting into the market. I’ve really enjoyed watching your videos and learning more about what you go through on a day-by-day that I hadn’t really thought about. I recently started mailing out a few things here and there and have found it’s pretty difficult to nail down shipping costs. When you’re mailing out cards in bubble mailers do you generally go through the postal service, or something else like UPS? I printed a few labels today through the USPS site today for packages going out and noticed they’re limited to Priority Mail or higher and generally cost $7.25 or higher per label. Long story short, how do you ship product most effectively?
Are their easy inexpensive ways to buy bulk without getting scammed? Due to nostalgia I jumped back into collecting. My collection goal is to "catch 'em all" regardless of set. However a bunch of my missing dex of Pokemon I suspect could be cheap buys, especially with recent generations. Like I am missing Pidgeotto and Golbat from gen 1, the Wurmple line, etc. **Edit** locally packs have been harder to come by and collector shops here don't sell Pokemon singles as they are more invested in Magic, comics, table top gaming, and vintage transformers.
Danny any tips on shipping my bulk to a buy/ trade place?? i have liks 10,000 common/ uncommon. 2 or 3 thousand energy, and 2 or 3 thousand rare.. but shipping that all will cost a ton am i correct?
I just binged watched about five or six your videos. Great content. If I’m interested in shipping you my bulk what would you suggest is the most cost effective means to ship it?
Flat rate boxes from the post office at your best bet. You can fit up to 7k in a large flat rate box and about 4500 in a medium. Use pirate ship to purchase a label and save 10% more off of flat rate shipping option
