I use both of these companies depending on the destination and requirements of entry. If you are going to be abroad for a long time and/or don't need as much coverage, I would recommend SafetyWing. BUT you cannot purchase SafetyWing WHILE in Canada or USA. You can only purchase once already abroad. Hey Mondo is more expensive but offers a higher level of coverage including plans that have trip cancellation/interruption insurance. Hey Mondo would be the better insurance to use if you need travel medical insurance when applying for a visa. Both companies cover covid. I spent 17 years living and working in various countries in East and Southeast Asia. Most of the time was spent in Ha Noi, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Saigon. I retired and moved back to the states in 1988 to be near the grands. I hope to be back in Vietnam at least one last time before I kick the can.

Next time try to visit these places Baguio, Sagada, Banaue Rice Terraces, Mt. Pinatubo, Mt. Mayon, Taal Volcano, Pinatubo, Hundred Island, Coregedor, Batanes, Batangas, Aurora, Quezon province. Bataan. Subic, Bohol, Cebu-KawasanFalls/Moalboal/Oslob, Siquijor, CDO, Davao, Dumaguete, Ilocos, Boracay, etc. Etc.

Anna is a wonderful, intelligent person who gives an honest yet generally optimistic overview of the war and how it affects the average Ukrainian. If you haven't checked her out, give her a try. The day started with a less than exuberant Alina as the trials and tribulations of world were weighing a little more heavily her than usual. Funny how not having internet access now makes life more difficult, because so much of the world has little to no physical presence. Travel well, travel is almost always a joy, it was stressful at the best of times. Now it's worse, but if you get where you're going more or less on time it's a bonus. An upbeat Alina arrived in Vietnam in the early morning and her mood is lighter and she's ready for adventure. We know there will be more hiccups, but Ho Chi Min seems to sooth the weary traveler until Gordon touches down.

It's ironic that Harriet and I had a similar flight from Manila to Ho Chi Minh City arriving in the wee hours of the morning. We all have those up and downs in our lives. We manage to get through those rough times. Sometimes you have to slow down and take a breath. Harriet and I continue to work as volunteers at a local relief effort for the Ukrainian People. Hi Alina, as a Filipino I always look at things eith a silver lining. Admitredly having.no wifi is a bane, for most vloggers, but not having wifi is a good reminder that for Palawan specifically, it sorts of protects it from extrene tourusm or over-population, being that it is the Philippines last frontier. Alinachka I’m totally agree with you on your decision on politics topic on your channel. I’m Ukrainian (Odessa) born Canadian who lived in Toronto most of my adult life (30 years) and I’m so angry to say the list on a daily and I’m so much consumed by the news from Ukraine that I know we need to separate our selfs from that just even for a bit to stay sane. Slava Ukraine! P.S. I’m staying now in Cebu and hopefully you comeback to Philippines soon and explore all beautiful white sand beaches that Cebu has to offer.

I'm a filipino and I have friends and acquaintances in ukraine who was called to serve. Everyday, I just pray and hope that everytime I open instagram, I would see their post enjoying a slice of bread or heating water for their tea or coffee in the battlefield. Makes me complacent that even tho they're on the battlefield, i know they're alive.
