Update! As of March 8th, *every single emote I talked about in this video* is now deleted. Additionally, they also added another hundred or so emotes which still have similar problems as shown in the video (EDIT: It’s gone too.) I wasn't gonna make another video on it, but there's one that's so questionable I think it’s broken. Video is up now and thanks for the support! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6kBkz1Clk_k.htmlsi=3zfPUj2f5XjvLcUO.
you know what's funny? in the 2011 april fools update Notch added a store to criticize games with microtransaction stores and now 10 years later they completely bastardized his game its really sad to look at it
@@KwikBR Actually, he was more sulking because he had nothing to do/wasnt making games like he did, before Minecraft kinda forced him to baby it for like 5 years straight til he had enough
The "acting like Santa" emote is supposed to be them putting their hands on their belly and laughing like "ho ho ho" but because there's no fat belly like santa, and no elbows either, it does NOT look like what it was intended to be.
that diamonds yay yay emote was made by GAMEFAM?? (context: gamefam is hated in the roblox community because ots a company that has been buying out games, overworking developers, and they were in drama for firing a dev without notice, the dev sent in their work and gamefam used it WITHOUT paying the dev for the hours of work put into making the model, animating the model. allat. they also are into child gambling)
Saw a comment like that on Phoenix SC's video, still weird how it changed from -1 minecoins to 'equip', and it's also weird that they made the emote for game pass but couldn't add a lock explaining that you need gamepass
watching corporate greed slowly destroy both Minecraft and Roblox, indie games originally created to promote creativity and player freedom, is unbelievably sad
Seeing how minecraft is owned by microsoft i think we can forget about minecraft story mode ever returning, even then one voice actor for it has died by now.
It’s honestly sad to see what this game has become, I remember being able to play this game with my friends during the pandemic since it supported many platforms I wish minecraft could’ve just stayed like it was before Microsoft bought it, but I suppose then everyone would’ve stopped playing from lack of updates, though at least it would be remembered well compared to whatever they turned it into now
@@yrnch1 I meant them as separate things, when I played the game with friends during the pandemic the marketplace wasn’t so bad, though I still liked the earlier versions of minecraft better
If Notch was still here then probably we would only have minecraft plus with the current development for mobiles the developers won't need to do much to get minecraft Java running on mobiles
the person who made the yay, diamonds! emote is called gamefam, and if you’ve been in Roblox controversies for like 1 year you would definitely know something about gamefam. *Gamefam tells their employees to not discuss pay, they made a post regarding a controversy basically just saying “we’re actually the best company and your wrong” without talking about the controversy at all, they made a literal SONIC PARTNERSHIP CASINO. Yes, THAT Sonic, the game brand. Also they now have made another game partnering with FUCKING SPONGEBOB. also they buy games and literally bought a fnf copy game and made a sonic partnership on that fnf game, which lead to the original creators of that fnf copy game TO LITERALLY GET SUED BY THE FNF CREATORS.* So yeah.
@@chillaz.2801 i mean lyte interactive basically made an fnf ripoff and tried to get real money off of it like they didn’t literally steal EVERY SINGLE FNF MOD song without permission.
If you use an emote while crouching or gliding, then the animation kinda breaks, also they look so funny with some of the 4j skins that have different model
I remember those 4J skins, like the ghast skin where it was just a ghast head, and then the Star Wars pack had a few that were small but I forgot the names
yeah its sad to see what microsoft did to the game, back in the 2011 april fools update Notch added a joke store page as criticism to other micro transaction stores and look at where we are 10 years later its fucked
The original console versions were also good, like the marketplace then actually had good things like the mashup packs and wasn't forced into your face. Now bedrock replaced those versions and makes the marketplace into literal modern roblox.
8:28 they deleted the emotes bc that is a roblox dev company that had alot of drama because they (allegedly) didn't pay their employees, and they also make alot of gambling games for children associated with big characters like sonic.
The worst part is they can pull a sneaky on you with anything that is even remotely original. There was two Anime Dance emotes. They were the Death Dance from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I was frugal, and bought the dollar version. The very next day it was CHANGED and now it's some goofy ah garbage. Also, thank you for calling this stuff out. AND YOU EVEN SHOWED THE ORIGINAL ANIME DANCE ANIMATION. This stuff really needs moderation. People say Mojang has no control. Yes, Mojang doesn't put these out. But they should definitely have rules for their marketplace.
Actually, from what i remember: The Marketplace (like the official server list) is verified by an ENTIRELY different team from the Java AND Bedrock Teams. So they dont even have rules, the other company does, and those rules suck :V
@@higueraft571 I think you underestimate how many Russian kids play Minecraft and don't give Putin any mind. Meanwhile Putin is hyperfixating on Skibidi toilet. Minecraft has Skibidi Toilet cosmetics. And Skibidi Dob Yes Yes. We are on course with the fucking timeline where Minecraft gets involved with the war in Russia.
You can ask for a refund, I by mistake, bought a dinassour head bc this shit marketplace has 0 purchase confirmation, and they refunded me. It's a little tricky to open a ticket but if you search you can do it
@@Kiephieare the emotes open source or copyright im worried if fortnite finds out that minecraft has thire emotes minecraft could get trouble if they copyrighted
remember when legacy console edition only had you buy things through the minecraft store, and they were usually texture packs or skins? yeah i remember that. when everything wasnt behind a paywall and we just *had fun.* the only "emotes" we had back then were crouching and blocking (1.8 and under).
10:16 whoever made this, congragulations, you found an potion of invisibility exploit.... Like now we know emotes can emulate invisibility to a tee. That's honestly terrifying. Run an emote loop macro and get someone to make an invisibility emote and you can remain undetected in someones base. As long as you remain crouched, they have no idea you're in their house.
Can we talk about how _awful_ it is to browse the character creator, though? Seriously. I recently joined my friend’s Bedrock realm, and I wanted to check out some emotes and clothing items. There’s no search bar. There’s no filters. And I can’t even figure out if you actually hold an item when doing these animations. Like… there was the Force Lift, or the Trident Spin. I have no idea what those are supposed to look like because the preview doesn’t show it.
Heavily agreed. I think this video would've been out sooner and wouldn't have given me a headache if there was a search bar. Clicking through all the hundreds of emotes trying to look for one to talk about gets really tiring, and I bet for the character creator it's worse because there's more items and it's incredibly hard to find what you're looking for
The real emotes are crouching, crouching + right click (jumping is optional) and the 2nd one but with the part where you wildly move your mouse and jumping (holding the "W" key is optional). If you ask why, watch ExplodingTNT's videos.
7:09 you can see it was made by GameFam witch is a company that is on Roblox witch has done that same thing but like 10x times on Roblox so it makes sense why they did it with the Minecraft emotes
that’s kinda stupid tbh because you can very easily just…. ignore the marketplace. Hardly anything there is of value so it’s not like there’s any incentive to even acknowledge it’s existence
The yay diamonds emote is made by gamefam if you didn’t know they have been in countless controversies over not paying and over working employees and p2w game design so it makes sense that the emotes were just duplicates
The guy (or should i say company) that made the 3 exactly same emotes, is a company on roblox that got into sooooo many controversies. Its probaly not them but i thought i should say it
Also the boogie down emote is in Minecraft bedrock edition that one has the most smooth emote ever out of all of them, almost like it's a Fortnite animation file port
The Minecraft Marketplace idea is brilliant, but the content in it looks like a cringe Mr Beast thumbnail.. and Minecraft’s DLC’s are getting ridiculous. Indiana Jones DLC would work. A Disney DLC is NOT gonna work.
i've played all the mainstream versions of minecraft (java, bedrock, console) and they're literally all the same to me. its a shame that minecraft bedrock is hated because of a completely optional feature. its like hating java because of the spectator mode mob cameras. its not like you HAVE to buy the emotes to play. minecraft bedrock and java are, at their cores, the same game. it's just a separate and COMPLETELY OPTIONAL MENU that makes bedrock hated.
It’s not just the marketplace, but a ton of other changes that it makes for the sake of change like redstone. There’s a lot I don’t feel like getting into, but there are thousands of videos that really show the differences.
>and they're literally all the same to me Disagree. Legacy and Java (and Indev compared to Release Java, too) are definitely similar, but holy shit Bedrock is an entirely different game. Bedrock has piles of glitches that make it feel like an turd they tried to polish, but it keeps cracking and crumbling. The items stutter when they drop, the breaking texture flickers/sometimes vanishes, the lighting updates flickering any time you place a block or anything that'd update lighting (if you lit up a cave, and placed a block, it'd snap to 0 for a frame or so before returning, every update). These are a few of the more visual issues. Need i mention how fucked up and wrong the combat feels, with a lobotomized offhand (the only useful item you can offhand is a shield, which you need to crouch to use, cannot rebind or anything, you MUST crouch), axes are useless (1 point less damage than a sword, the only reduce armor durability more than swords), swords are weaker (no multi-hit), and for some god-forsaken reason they decided you needed to wait for the shiny animation to finish before you can realistically use the game menu, unless you dig around in the settings. Speaking of Settings, the Sensitivity is freakishly different compared to Java. I believe "100% Sensitivity" in Java is comparable to like 30-40% sensitivity in Bedrock? There's even MORE to cover, like how unpredictable and handicapped the Redstone is, with the lack-of-update-order and bizzarre 10-tick alternating updates for certain components, which kind of nukes any argument of "QC is hard to understand and complicated". They use different formulas for damage, they have different textures (tell me how the xp bar being different is something that must be different?), they have different generation, they have different UI artstyles entirely. Hell, Bedrock doesnt even get April Fools updates period, alongside not being able to pick your version without external tools :V Java and Bedrock are not the same game. If they are, then Blockcraft 3D or something is basically the same game too. (And no, it's not a language difference either, Legacy kinda reinforces that it isnt)
My favorite part about emotes is that they are still being added, and bedrock player models continue to be broken. Everytime in multiplayer the second player is a beyblade instead of steve
@@Kiephie i logged in again since i changed account and my entire thing got wiped including the stuff still in marketplace so you keep them until the account is deemed inactive, even the cherry cape was deleted
