Always best to buy a manual transmission. You have a lot more control and it's a lot more reliable than an automatic. Old automatics were great, the new computer controlled ones are more trouble than they're worth in my opinion.

When I traded my White Chevy truck in on a new Black one I was very happy. But in about a week, I wanted my white one back. I really like the look of a white truck. They just look so clean. Hey Dave, you may have tried this already, but I was having the same problem with the sensors that you are having with the red Ram. Found that the ground wire on the back of each cylinder head was severed completely. I bought a new Mopar ground strap, re-attached it to the back of each head and then to the body of the truck, and it fixed my codes. If you haven't examined your ground strap already, you may at least give it a visual inspection. Please forgive me if you've tried that already. I have enjoyed following your story!

As a native northeastern Minnesotan, I'm not sure I would want a white vehicle during the winter, darker colors are way more visible in a snowstorm.
