My school has uniforms but if we didn't I'm sure everyone would be wearing black leggings lol I've been to New York and everyone does dress super cool and different and I honestly can't imagain the boys not wearing sweats and Nike sweatshirts with their basketball shoes
What I’ve noticed from the New Yorker teens from their instagram is that girls like hooped earnings, big sweatshirts or windbreakers ‘hair parted to the middle and alot of 80s clothes or thrifted

This is the exact reason why I wish I went to high school in new york is because you have so many resources at your disposal in terms of getting nicer clothes for lower prices. Plus going to school in SoHo means a lot of people are interested in fashion which is amazing. But yeah I would agree that you probably have a more than average fahionable high school. That being said you planned out this video so everyone came with an especially pristine and on point outfit.

Yeah I went to PA and they had a vending machine and a water bottle was *25 cents*. At my local mall NOT EVEN A TOURIST AREA, it’s 2 dollars. And if you go to a corner store a dollar.

In my highschool everyone dressed the same, I mean we had a uniform but it was very loosely enforced so we could easily make it our own. When we had free dress days all girls wore boot cut jeans with boots and off the shoulder tops (the majority of kids in my school are Mexican and that's the current style going around) that style is cute but it's so tiring, like it's so predictable and literally no one dress differently.
Mannn, same with mai school, and when you dress a little different, they stares at you like you from another plant. It making me so comfortable that I decided to dress normally lol.

In Croatia, highschoolers wear - boys: sweatpants or skinny jeans and a hoodie, and a simple nike jacket, girls: high waisted jeans, crop tops and parkas (aka jackets with fake fur on the hood) .for shoes everybody wears either adidas superstar (the white ones), or low nike sneakers (any type) or short boots for girls. Basic af
Man times gave changed and seeing so many more fire fits in high schoolers these days. When I was at school i wore the skinniest jeans i could find with a longline t and chucks or mid skate shoes with a new era cap and button downs... looking back that was so basic and I never really went out of my comfort zone like I do now. so much more inspiration on social media has changed the way i look at fashion.
This video is old but I just wanted to thank you, you literally motivated to make videos again. Lately I’ve been trying to do things that make me fit in with everyone else but this video made realize that I should be doing whatever tf I want.
I respect the attention these folks give to their style... most of it isn’t my vibe (bit too flashy for me) but I respect it for sure and some of it is really interesting stuff. I love how some people go for super cheap and thrifted stuff and others really go that extra mile to get stuff that’s more expensive, but regardless everyone has a mutual respect and friendly competition for each other’s style. Really cool.

You're right, your school has the best style I've ever seen! I was surprised to see that everyone thrifted. That's really cool, most teens I know like to buy new and expensive clothing. I've been getting more into thrifting myself though.

damn your school is hella stylish!!! in my school we have a very strict uniform so it's really boring.....however when we have free dress day, everyone just wears all the same clothing. most people just wear over sized jumpers and leggings and adidas. i usually the only one who just goes in my own style, but I've stopped doing it recently because people made fun of me. everyone looks so nice at your school!
People in my school literally all dress the same. Hoodie, sweatpants (if they're feeling extra stylish then jeans) and just black or white shoes. I always feel like I'm too extra because I love fashion SO MUCH and I always try new stuff. I once wore a white (it has prints on it) shirt with a pastel-ly rosy kinda trench coat and a matching pair of trousers (it kinda has sweatpants material but they aren't really sweatpants) + white shoes and some accessory and literally my entire class freaked out because they thought that I was extremely risky. But I also got a bunch of compliments, so NOICE.
