I know that’s right no one can tell you about your locs . I’m not a styles person either definitely too tight and will also give me a headache. It has taken me a few days to get through your video because I’ve been so busy, but I’m finally listening while I’m folding some clothes. Girl the bug thing has my dying because same !!!😂😂😂 You are look amazing sis ❤

What a great video Twin!! Happy 5 Year Loc Anniversary! As usual they look beautiful on you…I’m curious how long it took you to count them to even know how many you shed! 400+ is a lot! While I don’t have locs I see some of these tips helping even with natural hair. Especially the stress management and HIH…never heard it as an acronym but I’ll take it! We have a difference too lol because I prefer lukewarm water over chilled lol. It goes down easier and my body prefers it more. Buuuut we both looove sweet tea!! So twinnn again! Have a great weekend ahead beautiful sis and thanks for the tips! ❤️

Hey twin heeeeey!! I actually counted them on a Sat morning a long time ago because people are always asking and I had no clue! lol I would count out 25 then band them, then counted them all up at the end like money lol😆. Yes twin stress def brings out our hair and you are right these definitely can be used for anyone because people with all types of hair touch and twirl and pull out of habit or stress. HIH is a thing lmbo! OMG we have a difference lol cold water versus warm! 😝😝 I think my body might have rebelled against the warm water because it’s a kid always being outside playing. I know you remember that lol my grandmother would always make us drink from the water hose and the water was always hot as Hades lol but good when you are thirsty, I don’t know maybe my body decided as an adult we only want cold water lol🤣😂 I will drink Luwam water if I have to otherwise ice cold it is lol so interesting, BUT we have that sweet tea in common! I am addicted to sweet tea so yummy!! Thanks so much for watching and I hope you guys are doing well! 🖤🖤

@@JourneywithTiffany Yessss twin!! Drinking from the hose outside when it’s hot is definitely a childhood past time! I can see why you don’t like it so much as an adult lol! And yesss I know it’s soo bad for us but whenever we meet in real life we’re having sweet tea cheers for old times sake! 🍻🥰❤️ We are doing well and hope you two are too! Thank you so much for sharing your journey! I am going to get sister locks installed on Thursday but I don’t whether to start them with twists or braids, how did you start yours? I have low density hair and from research twists sound like they will make my hair thicker but I also see that they frizz up more which I don’t want. If I start with braids will they still thicken eventually? Also if I decide I want to take them out later down the line is that easier to do if you start with braids or twists? Sorry for all the questions hope you can help! 🙏🏾

Hello beauty! OK, so Sisterlocks are neither of those. Sisterlocks are formed by doing a very specific three or four point rotation/locking of the hair. Twist locking are considered two strand twist which are very different from sister Locs but sizing can mimic it if they do them the size of sisterlocks. Locks started from braids, from what I have seen, usually create, micro lock or traditional locks. I will definitely do a video on these next because I get this question a lot and will be sure to tag you in it. I started from perm (check out some of my loc playlist) and I started with the traditional sisterlock locking method which is very specific to sisterlocks. There is no twisting or rolling or braiding in a sisterlock method. The lock is created by a tool and a pattern only. Now let me just say this all of the methods are beautiful!! I love microlocks, I love the two strand twist, I love traditional locks. I love them all! They are all unique in their own way and it just depends on one’s preference. I do see a lot of beauties start their own locks by doing two strand twist and braids because it’s easier to start on your own and you don’t have to have a tool. I hope this helps.
