I just wanted to say that I 100% AGREE about the safety eye thing. I won’t put them on infant or baby stuff. But ALL the toys from stores have them! I love how they look. I do add a choke hazard tag to my stuff. Now it’s the parents choice!
When I sold stuff in a local shop I always put warning tags on my stuff and will continue to and felt anxious if I had forgotten to or something. If I make something that I know is for a baby as in someone is likely only going to buy for a baby such as some loveys I made in the past, then I embroider eyes. But ultimately so long the warning is there I don’t see anything wrong with not offering other options. I have had many adults buy my items and older kids. I’m not a baby toy maker at the end of the day 🤷🏽♀️ my husband is a 35 year old man who plays with legos 🤣 grown ups like cute fun things too.

Keep going girl! I absolutely agree about the price! I charge what I find it’s enough to keep me going and make good profit! I also always try to incorporate the basic toys that are popular around crocheters because often they’re quick and I can offer something in lower price range!
I appreciate you 🫶🏽 I have learned through this process that like when it comes to market prepping right now I kind of have to go with the popular small things because they’re popular for a reason when it comes to markets they sell and they work up quick.. and I have a toddler so I don’t have endless time to prep. I’m hoping to come up with some unique things in the new year and find a style of my own. That’s really the only way to be unique and original but I don’t know I’m just having fun making whatever I want!
