Wait why isn’t this the most popular vegan channel on RU-vid? So unbelievably tasty, actually seasoned and comforting food with REALISTIC portions and balanced macronutrients. No 300 banana smoothies here, just good REAL food. I can’t express enough how much I love your channel!
Hey everyone! So sorry my uploads are so inconsistent at the moment, bear with me - I hope to be back to normal very soon :-) Thank you so much for watching as always! X
Well I totally agree. I watch videos and learn and love them.. When I want to find recipe ( maybe days later) it is not easy to refer to to find a recipe you previously saw. But I truly love Jess's recipes style of cooking. The best.
Laura Maybe because her videos are always with the same title. Nothing different to an other « what I eat in a day » for people who don’t know her. By the way I agree, her videos are always good, but titles need more precision so that we can find later a recipe we had liked ! Nothing obvious like « the BEST blabla you have to try » but for exemple « easy stir fries ». 😊
You are one of the most amazing vegan RU-vidrs. It is real food that just looks divinely delicious 😋. Not just celery juice and green smoothies. There is nothing wrong with those it’s just refreshing to see your recipes I find that even none vegans totally love them 👌🏻
JACK FRIUT can be made with onion, garlic , tomato and garam masala (indian ) curry and rice. There is dry version where jack fruit is first fried and curry version.
Girlfriend your videos give me LIFE. As the only vegan in my home I often find myself getting stuck eating the same foods, but everytime I check in to your channel I am immediately inspired!❤
there are times that I literally watch your videos every.freaking.day. not even kidding. Thank you for your effort and great great content!! Ive tried some and eager to try more. Just trying to get all the relevant groceries =DD
I’ve been looking for vegetarian and/or vegan channels and I finally came across yours, I really feel like your channel and amazing recipes will make my change in diet much easier, thank you! 💛
I love every single one of your videos. You inspire me to try new recipes and new products, thank you for that! Never thought about stirring olives etc into my hummus. What a simple yet genius idea!!! Xx
Oh my word that hummus toast looks so amazing and yet so simple but would have never thought of using sun-dried tomatoes.Wow food must never get boring with the way you can cook. Cookie and I want to move in. lol. So good to hear from you and hope to see you soon. xoCathy
Yummy! Although nutritional yeast is super heat-sensitive & should be added to the finished meal in order not to destroy the vitamins. Just a side note. 😉 Love your recipies! 🧡
3 dislikes, just, who? 🤔 Anyway, your toaster is just amazing! I love it! Everything looks always so delicious, I tend to always cook pastas for every meal. Thanks to your videos I have way much more ideas! So happy to see you Jess! 🥰 Much love to you and your little family, hope everyone’s alright! ❤️
Your videos are by far the best "What I Eat" - videos on RU-vid! ☺️ I get so excited everytime you upload and love to try your recipes. I always recommend your videos to colleagues and friends btw! ❤️
Hey Jess! Love the video! I grew up in an Italian family cooking lots of southern Italian food. We usually add in a heaped tea spoon of sugar to our red sauce and lots of salt. I think the sugar in particular really cuts out the acidity. Give it a try!
I'll give it a try - thank you so much for the tip! I'm going to Italy for the first time this year and I'm SO excited to visit such a beautiful country, but more so to eat the delicious foods ;-) Thank you for watching! X
Jess! I love you and your videos! I’m not vegan but in a way I kind of am because I don’t eat dairy (it makes my skin break out) and I’m not fussed about meat, so I LIVE for your videos! SO HAPPY I FOUND YOUR CHANNEL! I’ve made a few of your recipes and god damn they’re soooo GOOD! Thank you!
This was right on time☺️ I just brought a can of jack fruit.. 🤪🤪 didn’t know what to do with you. Thank You Jess❤️. Just a suggestion..How about you ask us (your subscribers) which are our favorite recipes and those are selected for your ebook.. 🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️
I love jack fruit. Cooked today in a pan with one table spoon of olive oil, black pepper, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, 1 minced onion and 3 cloves of minced garlic. When soft added the jack fruit and cooked 5 mins to absorve the flavours. Then added more smoked paprika, 1 table spoon of tamari and a 2 table spoons of water and cover the lid for 5 mins. Then open the lid and cook until no liquid. Is smokey and tasty:)
i have really bad allergies and need to go vegan to get rid of a lot of eczema i have and this channel has given me so so so much hope like all of your recipes look delicious n they’re really realistic n easy to make and i can’t wait to be vegan!!!:))love your videos so much
Currently making the jackfruit and black bean chili and the aroma itself is AMAZING !!! I love making your dishes!!! We love them here in Los Angeles !!
My kind of food day. Shouldn't watch videos when I am hangry. Bad idea. I LOVE biscuits...but the thing is I cant stop eating them once I start. There's just something with dipping them in coffee or tea that makes my day.:)
Hi.i have discovered you only last week but I can't stop watching you.im such a foodie and I love cooking and there are 2 vegan you tubers I totally love and you are one of them!I love the way you cook and present your food.it makes my mouth water every time and I'm not even vegan(but I love/make vegan food)but try to eat very little meat.please carry on preparing your gorgeous food to give me ideas for my next meal😉.thank you
Ah good for you, I understand not everyone can or wants to go fully vegan, but the fact you're willing to eat less meat and try vegan foods is great, even little changes make a big difference :-) Thanks so much for the lovely comment and for watching! X
Thank you for your reply.i literally wake up and go to sleep with you and when I have time during the day you're on!😂. I never knew about all the substitutions we can make to make vegan food.im really into healthy eating and since I've started eating more vegetarian/vegan I feel more energised, losing weight and just feel so much better.and by watching your food you make it so easy for non vegans because everything looks fantastic.
I dont know why but Ive never thought to add mix-ins into hummus, this might be a game changer! I really like your onion and roasted red pepper suggestion, plus maybe some garlic 😍
All that food looks amazing 😍 thank you for such informative videos and all the dedication to your description box (I think its called that😂) much love ❤
Reason why tinned tomatoes are more acidic is because shopped, tinned tomatoes aren’t the right ones. The best ones for a soup like this is San Marzano. I don’t know if they have them in the UK but it’s just a thought.
I get sooo excited every time you post a new video. I don't think this is normal 😅😅😅. Anyways, thanks for creating this type of content. I really enjoy it and it has been helpful. ❤❤❤
I love those pana cottas, they're so good. I really want to try that tortellini, it looks very good, and I didn't realise how long its been since I've had that. Or ravioli, I miss that too
That tortellini looked so good. Wish I could find it where I live. A while back I used to buy a bag of frozen mushroom tortellini from our supermarket but, it isn't vegan so I haven't had it. I really enjoyed it and wish I could find a vegan version.
I hope it's available for you soon! Have you tried making your own vegan tortellini? It shouldn't be too difficult, I'm going to give it a try and maybe I'll share the recipe :-) Thanks so much for watching! X
I've always eaten big portions and I've never been someone to worry about calories, especially on a vegan diet there's really no need to except only to be sure you're having enough. Thank you for watching :-) X
This is my first time that I see different kind of vegan recipes (like not based on oat or peanut butter) I’m not vegan but I really want to try these recipes.
Sorry they're all over the place, I have a lot going on but I'll be back to normal asap :-) Thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching! X
It all looks yummy. Specially the desserts. Those cookies though. Yum. I love things with orange in it. I'm getting to where tomato stuff is bothering me which sucks big time. Ugh. I wish we had Vegan Tortellini I love that stuff. Our store is getting a major make over. So maybe they can add more things like this. :) Crosses fingers. lol.
I hope so! Fingers crossed for you - and I feel 2019 is a good year for more vegan foods and for them to become more widely available :-) Thanks for watching! X
I'm so annoyed that the Coconut Collaborative has so little in the US!! I would LOVE to try that raspberry panna cotta pot!! So far I've only tried the mini chocolate one and I love it! But we don't get the full range here. And sadly we have NO Mr. Organics products too which I'd LOVE to try!! :( Great videos though! I SO wish I had you as a roommate cooking for me. It would be my dream come true! LOL
Wow I had no idea The Coconut Collaborative was in the US! Hopefully the panna cottas will make it over to you with the rest of the range eventually! Haha, ah thank you for the lovely comment and for watching :-) X
I was so excited to see a vegan tortellini, but then I saw in their product description that it may have traces of milk in it which, regardless of my diet choice I can’t do dairy :( Guess I’ll have to keep looking
For the tortellini soup could I use another type of milk? I’m allergic to coconuts lol. I was wondering if you think almond milk would be a good substitute?
Yes almond milk could definitely work (it may curdle however, so possibly turn off the heat when it's done and stir it through last!) or the Oatly single cream is great for adding to dishes as well :-) X
