+Sincerely, Yvonne Any food, clothes, furniture that's made of animals is cruel. They have to be violently killed to be put into things for people to use and eat. Please watch a short video called Farm to Fridge so you can see what's really going on. Check out vegan products/food on Instagram or google, so you can switch to cruelty-free items as much as you can to help make things right.
I totally agree with the first comment! I love all your recipes and you should definitely write a book one day, I would be the first to buy it. Every time I watch your videos I come away with something new! I can't tell you enough how much I love and look forward to these xxx
+Amanda Jenkins Ah thank you so much for the lovely comment Amanda! That would be the absolute dream - until then I'll continue to made these videos ;-) Thanks for making my day! X
This is the only RU-vid channel I've ever binge-watched for hours. I love your voice and the way you speak. It is so calming and it's fantastic. I've been vegan for almost a year, and I was getting bored of my usual recipes. You have helped me become more inspired in the kitchen, and you're showing me so many ways to eat less bread! Keep up the great work. =)
Jess Beautician im your fans i see all your creative recipe it healthy probably ingredients little expensive but it totally nutritious and delicious keep up the good works
Hi Jess, where is the video where you do the Q&A and tell your vegan story please? This was 4 years I go I know 🤪just interested in your story but can't find the video
This is awesome! Thank you so much for making this video! I am vegan and have been trying to eat healthier since I have been taking a nutrition class this semester. So many "healthy vegans" post "what I eat in a day" videos that are full of packaged "health" foods, added sugar, oils, and other things that I am practicing avoiding when cooking and eating. This video really shows ways to eat delicious foods that are full of whole foods (minimally processed). The jam bars look divine - what a perfect way to use up the freshly picked strawberries I stored in my freezer! Thanks again
+first1breath Ah thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching! I feel I enjoy my food so much more when I've made it and know what has gone into it - definitely, vegan food never has to leave you feeling hungry, it can be so filling without being bland or boring! Yep, it's a great way to use up fruit :-) X
I am amazed.. this is by far one of the best channels for healthy recipes I have found. I am not vegetarian but am trying to incorporate as much of a plant based diet into my life as I can and your recipes look delicious. Also very impressed with your healthy substitutions and how you make your meals yourself (jam, ice cream, sauces)! Thank you
Ah thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching! Plant-based doesn't have to mean boring, you can find alternatives for absolutely everything now and you can get so creative with cooking and recipes - good for you for wanting to introduce more plant-based foods! :-) X
+imvlm Ah thank you so much for the lovely comment! Haha, ah I wish I could - they just take me so long to edit together but I'm doing one every week! :-) X
Dear Jessica, I really really love your what I eat in a day videos. They're by far the best ones I've ever seen! Love them. I will try some of your recipes soon. Thank you for sharing
Girl, Don't pour Hot water into strawberries, you'll kill it's flavor and hot water has the ability to kill the antioxidants in the strawberries, just pour room temperature water and let it boil slowly, you'll preserve the flavor of the strawberries and reduce number of antioxidants being lost during cooking, much love to you
Your What I Eat In a Day videos are literally the BEST! Superb quality, great editing and great simple but not boring recipes! Keep up the great work and keep them coming! :-)
so creative with cooking. thank God for people like you on utube because I am new to vegan and have no idea how to put things together. Everything looked good
I love seeing what delicious recipes you make each week. The falafel wraps sound like the perfect lunch. You need to start writing a Vegan cookbook - ebook.
+Vicki Bruce (Lets Talk Beauty) Ah thanks so much Vicki! They really were, so good - I ate them for about 3 days in a row haha! I'm definitely going to think about an ebook! X
Seriously the best vegan "What I eat in a day" videos ever! I just get so excited whenever you upload them! :) The cucumber sandwiches were my favourite, so yummi!!
+Nayelih Amber Ah thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching Nayelih! It makes me so happy that they make you so excited! The cucumber snacks are pretty good ;-) X
I love these videos so much Jess. I'm not vegan but your recipes are really helping me incorporate more plant-based meals into my diet. They are so easy to follow and I can tell you love doing them. Keep 'em coming!
+Kate Stanton Ah thanks so much for watching Kate! So glad they can help you - I link to some incredible videos/documentaries which completely changed my life in the description box of 'What I Eat', highly recommend watching them if you're interested in more plant-based meals :-) I'll keep them coming! X
Love Strawberries too. I make a frozen Strawberry Drink. All I use is frozen strawberries, some water and truvia. Reminds me of slurpies. Only healthier.
+Jamie Crisp Ah I agree, I make this all the time come the summer months - I'm going to try it next time with coconut water and a squeeze of lemon, kind of like a 'flat' strawberry lemonade ;-) X
i made these red lentils cakes yesterday and omg, they are by far the best thing i've ever eaten since going vegan and even my mom liked them ^~^ thanks for the amazing recipe !
New subscriber here! I'm currently watching all of your what I eat in a day videos. They're so well edited and all of your recipes are things that I would actually want to try and make. You have such a sweet, approachable, calm way of explaining everything too. Today I'm going to make that strawberry crumble! And lastly, I'm SO jealous of your gorgeous gray kitchen :)
+Kishmish Kitchen Ah thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching too! Hope you love the strawberry crumble, I'm so obsessed making it with all kinds of fruits - a viewer asked how they could make a banana one, so that's next for me, haha! Ah thanks so much, it's the tiniest kitchen but it's pretty cute :-) X
I'm just starting on a vegan diet and i'm finding a lot of healthy meals just don't look appealing or look nice but sound like they might not taste nice, and as i'm at the start of my journey i really need to pick foods that appeal and taste nice too, THIS is the first lot of recipes I've seen that truely look super healthy and super delicious! I can't wait to try them, thank you so much for sharing!
+teesha123 That's so amazing to hear - good for you, you're doing an amazing thing! Vegan food definitely doesn't have to be bland or boring, you just have to get a little creative and it can be super delicious :-) Thanks so much for the lovely comment and for watching, hope you love the recipes if you try any! X
I've decided to slowly ease myself into becoming vegan as I have been a vegetarian for over six years. This is by far one of the most helpful and creative vegan videos I've seen as of yet and I've not even finished watching it!
+Aleksandra Janek Ah thanks so much for the lovely comment Aleksandra and for watching! I was also vegetarian for years and years before going vegan, it makes it less of a leap for sure! :-) X
I have just discovered your channel and I'm so glad I did!! Your "What I eat in a day" videos are so so so so great!! I watched them all today and let me tell you how creative and accurate you are. Your videos get better and better, and even more beautiful. Now I have tons of ideas of what i can eat too :) Thank u and congrats. I'm definitely suscribing to your channel. Mua!!!!
+Mekarecita Ah too kind, thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching - I'm so glad you enjoy them and you can take away a few meal ideas from them! Much love :-) X
It is totally by far my absolute favourite #what I eat In a day# video!!! ..I wish I had a friend like you! Btw I've watched it more than 10 times... You are so inspiring! *Actually I'm suffering from eating disorder... I binge and the next day I would eat literally nothing... But your videos give me such motivation to follow a regular and healthy diet. Couldn't love them more.
+Song Tang Thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching them! Ah that's so amazing - I'm so glad they have motivated you and have inspired you to eat healthier, I'll definitely keep them coming in that case! :-) X
I have just started my journey toward being vegan. I am currently pescatarian (for the last month). Thanks for the beautiful recipes! Helps me believe I can transition completely.
+Ally Joy Ah that's amazing, good for you Ally! I was also pescatarian before going vegan and never thought I could give up cheese - definitely check out the documentaries in the description box for more inspiration, they changed my life for the better! Thanks so much for watching :-) X
Thankyou for these videos, especially since alot of them are simple!! I have been vegetarian for a year and lactose intolerant so I'm not quite vegan but I still sometimes have dairy, so these recipes are a life saver I am loving thus video I will have to make some for myself!!
thank you so much for your videos! you are one the few people who break away from just rice and salad for every meal and it's refreshing to be inspired to make something new :) (granted I do still like rice and salad lol)
+Hestina Nightingale Ah thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching! Haha, I'm with you - I love rice and salad, especially together ;-) But it's all about putting a twist on things and making it a bit more exciting! X
I want to make every recipe in this video! I really need to start copying down the recipes now because I'm about ten episodes behind 😨 so excited to try the lentil cakes and the falafel Caesar wraps. Thanks for all the great recipes! It's making it easier to transition that's for sure 😊
I'm currently not a vegan, but these videos inspire me and move me in that direction! Eating out seems to be the hardest when it comes to becoming vegan.
+STEPHANIE SAMUELS Ah thanks so much Stephanie! Definitely watch the documentaries when you get the chance, they're seriously inspiring! Eating out can be difficult but it's something you learn to work with - I did this video: What I Eat Out (Vegan) #1 | JessBeautician which might give you a few tips for eating out as a vegan :-) X
Use raspberries instead of strawberries as they will have a more tangy flavour, I find when my sister has done strawberry/raspberry cheesecake the raspberry always wins hands-down for flavour xxx
Another amazing video Jess! I am very happy to say that I have now taken the plunge and am now vegan :) So far its going well... your recipes have definitely kept me inspired, I have really been enjoying trying lots of new foods and flavours :) xxx
+shadowingthesun Ah thank you so much for the lovely comment! Yay! That's so amazing - good for you! So glad you find these inspiring, but I've linked to some other videos and documentaries in the description box which changed my life and made my decision to go vegan, I still watch them now - highly recommend them if you have the free time! Thanks again :-) X
+JessBeautician I totally have been watching the documentaries that you have linked in the description box I recently watched 101 reasons to go vegan, all I can say is wow. All I can think about is how naive I was in the past. The easy way is to ignore it and never think about the reality but its just so shocking and wrong. Glad to be plant based and ethical now. xx
Have to say I’m a total meat eater and I always will be, but your videos have inspired me to really reduce my meat intake! I absolutely hate salads and I used to think eating veggie based meals was all salads, but this has really challenged that mindset :) thanks for your interesting videos!
I'm not a vegan but I love your videos!! Within this past year I've been transitioning towards a plant based diet. Your videos have given me so much insperation. Thank You!
+GodsGirl Ah thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching! I'm so glad you find them inspiring! That's amazing, good for you - I always link to some incredible documentaries in the description boxes of these videos, they taught me so much when wanting to go vegan, I'd highly recommend checking them out if you get the time! :-) X
I just watched 8 videos. Lots of heathy choices.. Thank you for all your delicious videos.. Actually your what i ate in a day are by far the BEST. Great job!
Just added all the ingredients to my Ocado trolley to make the spicy lentil cakes. These look so yummy! Can't thank you enough for these videos Jess, I literally squeal a little when I see them pop up in my sub box! Can't wait to try more recipes. You are making my vegan diet so much fun! This time last year I would have said I couldn't go vegan from vegetarian as I love cheese, cream, milk too much etc but it's so so easy and I'm enjoying cooking so much more xxx thank you xxx
+Glitters Pink Ah so jealous - I can't wait to shop with Ocado when I'm back in the UK! Hope you love the lentil cakes - chickpea flour took me ages to get used to and I still don't like the taste if I use too much, so don't use any more than 2 tbsp!! Exactly the same for me, just over a year ago I would have laughed if you'd ever told me I'd be vegan, I was the biggest cheese fiend but never again, it's so easy and delicious and most importantly, cruelty free :-) Thanks so much for the lovely comment! X
+JessBeautician thanks for tip Jess I may try brown rice flour first just incase! You'll love Ocado when back in the UK it's been a life saver for me this past few months whilst transitioning. Crazy how things can change, this is the best change I've made so pleased I took the plunge now and like you say, cruelty free 👍🏻 xxx
Your food looks amazing!! I love the variety, the appeal, incorporating gorgeous snacks and desserts and nutrition on all of them! Definitely saving this to make later. I'm so happy to find new vegan channels! Subscribed!
+tritawan ruttivut Ah thank you so much for the lovely comment and for watching/subscribing too - definitely, vegan food never has to be bland and can always be both delicious and nutritious! :-) X
+Simona Škytová Ah yay, hope you love them if you try them Simona and as I say, you can make them with all kinds of fruits :-) I love oats, they're so versatile and great for desserts! Thanks for watching X
You are my favorite youtuber! Your recipes are amazing, and I'm inspired to try at least 1 each day! :D I've recently become vegan, and you are helping me really have fun with such a variety of food! Thank you!
Have you ever considered making a vegan recipe book!? I would definitely buy it if you made one!! :)) love your videos they are are inspiring me to go vegan!
+Apple April Ah thanks so much for watching! I used to love caesar salad too - it can be made with vegan mayo too but I'm obsessed with this cashew dressing! Hope you like if you try :-) X
these videos are brilliant Jess well done! very inspirational, I've been plant based for 4 months, best decision ive ever made but sometimes I get stuck in a rut with eating the same things but videos like yours make it easy to find new things to try! thankyou xx
+Emily Smith Ah thanks so much for the lovely comment Emily! I agree, it's the best decision in life I've ever made too - I'd never go back! That can be the way for me too sometimes, but coming up with new ideas is super exciting and I just want to show that it never has to be bland or boring! :-) X
