I do all my mince (ground beef) with beef heart, beef liver and beef kidney. When I cook it I add eggs and spices. It tastes so amazing. I also like to add Chilli, Garlic, Ginger, Fennugreek, Turmeric and salt of course. Outside of Carnivore the only thing I eat is avocado. I also cook lamb liver for snacks. Soft boiled eggs as snacks.
@@ancestralhealing Recipe : 1kg Beef fat trimming, 5kg beef, 1 beef heart (about 1kg), 1 beef liver is 1.5kg and 500gm Beef kidney. I put it through a 5mm mincer. When I cook it I put 2 eggs per kg. Also, be aware that offal goes off faster than fat and beef so you need to freeze it or simply consume it. Add spices and sea salt to taste 🙂 Happy Days.
Tracking macros was a help for me in the beginning. Helped me discover that I wasn't eating enough, which I think is a common problem for newcomers. You look stunning.
@@ancestralhealing Problem is most people's hunger signals are messed up. I definitely couldn't trust my intuition to start with. What does being "full" even mean? Is it feeling that you've stretched your stomach? To me, that's what it used to mean. Or is it when your appetite is gone? How can you tell whether you're nourished if you're used to stuffing yourself with garbage all day? Tracking allowed me to learn and to know instead of having to guess. Thanks
I never get sick of mince beef either. I look forward to it every day! Thanks for the videos. Impressed by your coffee exclusion. I couldn’t fathom it so well done
Thanks, I am keeping my food very simple too, mostly mince beef with some bacon and home grown duck eggs mixed in. sometimes I have some lamb and pork! Popular cuts of meat are way too expensive here in South Australia!
We export so much meat here in Australia you'd think it would be cheap for us to buy but noooooo. I appreciate the simplicity of carnivore but resent being ripped off for ANY cut of meat it really sucks arse and grinds my gears. Certainly makes OMAD that much easier as i'm not hungry most of the time and if i am, i don't eat out stubbornness and spite.
I've done ok with my diet today. Not sure if I can eat pecans, but I had a few awhile ago. Other than that, ate a chicken breast at Waffle House this morning, where my wife works. Then ate a steak and scrambled eggs later, and a can of tuna in water. Picked my wife up from work that afternoon and a lady was there who raises chickens and sells eggs, and bought 3 dozen off her, lol. Also ate a cheese steak omelet. No bread or hashbrowns.
Thanks! One month in I already started to notice my hair growing. Here are my 3 videos I did on my hair journey: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Qh5DF-Wk9Ag.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vH1mokzWMcI.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wigf1uXZpsY.html
Congrats on giving up the coffee. I didn’t even last a day. I got a headache 12 hours in and gave in. Also, I use high fat ground beef and make burgers. And I refrigerate the leftover fat. I use the fat on less fatty meat, like turkey burgers I get from the store.
I can't seem to get enough of ground beef. I eat about a pound of it with chili, paprika, cumin, some sour cream, iceberg lettuce, maybe a tomato, shredded cheese and drink unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Once in a while I will eat pork tenderloin or chicken or wild caught Alaskan salmon or a chuck roast or eggs,
@@ancestralhealing It is very yummy. I wonder how much I should care about grass-fed versus regular and I guess it would be great if the ground meat had a bit of organs and bone as well without affecting the taste negatively. My next adventure will probably be to try that. I think Trader Joe's here in California sells it.
Almond milk has way to many oxcallates. My joints are in pain just thinking about nuts. They are the children of plants . Which the plant protect them by coating them in chemicals.
@@aandistudiophotographyvide2986 I sometimes eat nuts because I guess I am still a bit of a carb junkie probably. I do feel some issues with it. Also with the almond milk but if I drink just one glass it is almost no problem. I also put too much spices on my meat for my own good. I will gradually cut down on those things. This year has seen me gradually move away from SAD to keto and toward carnivore.
Did you eat cheese by some chance ? Cheese is a classic cause of blockage early on with Carnivore. Exercise and drink only water and electrolytes. Note : High heart rate can be from dehydration and lack of Potassium.
@True Health and Living I agree. A little hard cheese every now and again and maybe Brie or Camembert once a week. Better off eating a soft boiled egg and a cold lamb chop.
Hang in there, it's part of the journey. No need to panic as many of us have been there before you. Make sure you are having enough fat and beef bone broth.
Yes I have. Do you eat the whites? If not, maybe try to cut them out and just eat yolks for a while. The whites tend to cause more reactions/issues for people. I had to remove whites at the beginning for a few months and then when I reintroduced them after some time they didn’t bother me anymore.
