You are living my dream. Im a pastry chef by trade and was well on my way to a bakery of my own when i became chronically ill. My daughter is now working and going to college to support us after i had to have brain surgery. I'm so happy for your success. I hope it's ok with you if I live vicariously through your videos. Wishing you continued success and many blessings. ❤🙏
im so, so sorry youre going through this... i feel compelled to tell you this: you can still accomplish this dream. im sure your condition has taken a huge toll on your life and that you feel its impossible for you to someday be like her and own your own bakery, but i promise you, you can do it. many people in similar situations to you can still recover and get back to how they used to be. you are doing amazing with the card youve been dealt and so is your daughter. im going to pray for you and your daughter tonight, i truly hope you get to achieve your dream someday
Speaking as an ex-bakery employee where the owner never let us take breaks/lunch and would pile work on top of us if we sat down at all, it’s nice to see an owner take pride and happiness in her work
I don’t know, but I need a Netflix show on this 😂 Gurl, your energy is just contagious, thank you for all that you do, and for all the energy that you share 🙏
Always wanted to be a bakery owner myself your videos gave me a good insight of how it is like so now I know it is not for me (not in a bad way) but I admire you so much! It is so challenging to juggle two jobs as a bakery store owner and content creator
I am wanting to open up my own bakery and cafe, in writing up a business plan and looking into loans and grants! The thought of jumping is so scary but it really is a dream❤❤❤
thats what im thinking too, she needs more than just greens. She's having so much sugar/carbs in her day! Hopefully shes having actual meals but this video just doesn't show it.
Would love to try some of those baked goods! I've always wanted to open my own bakeshop but never had the courage to do so. 😊 And by the way, you are so pretty!
It's time for you to look at some atomated machines to make it easier and faster for you because your business will continue to grow from the looks of it 😊
I'm interested in seeing when you open up the doors and all the customers coming in with their faces letting up seeing all those baked goods and delicious pastries you should show this🎉❤ Merry Christmas
Wow!just to let you know you are such an inspiration to younger Bakers like me and my dream is to one day. I have my own bakery. You’re such an inspiration as I said thank you for posting please keep posting because I love this content!❤❤ thank you so much❤ also, where in Australia do you sell your cakes and cupcakes? Is it in Sydney?
Had my favorite snack yesterday back from when I was vegan: seed/nut crackers with hummus. So weird to me now that I’m almost completely carnivore at this present moment. It was recently my birthday so I wanted to eat the foods that brought me and my family the most joy.
Live in Brisbane - any chance you do a plant based cookie? If not please get a few one the shelves 😅 also are we able to order only one? The website says box of 6 only 😣
@@seaofcereal696actually at least 1,200 calories. Yogurt: around 150-200 Spaghetti Bolognese: around 500-600 1 Cookie: at least 500+ Those cookies are extremely calorie dense lol.
So now we Have catehory of food based on our profession🤪 I thought food choices are based on personal taste...😅 Would love to Know - what your employees eat as a bakery employee
As someone who works at a busy restaurant (Chipotle) I can confirm that having one or two meals plus a small snack a day is normal🤣 I probably eat 900 cals a day. Lost a lot of weight plus I take the bus to work and have no time for breakfast bc of how early I have to leave to catch the bus on time. I rarely get breaks so I don’t usually have my first meal till 4pm/5pm Not sharing this as weight loss advice, just sharing the reality of working in a kitchen.
Do you have a lot of co-workers ? I'm amazed you only start working from 6a.m in a Bakery, especially given you're the owner 😲 I've worked in a Bakery and usually people start working between 4-5a.m
You ate a yogurt, 2cups of coffee, spaghetti, and a cookie. I think that’s what was shown. Maybe that’s enough food energy/calories for you. I would need at least one more solid meal and probably another snack.
You should try this Australian brand called "Soulara". They make balanced microwavable vegan meals (that you store in the freezer). I think that would be super helpful for you to have for lunch/breakfast/dinner etc. You can search meals that are higher in protein, to make sure that you stay full for longer and have sustaining energy. Cause I can't imagine running a bakery on that little food and it being mostly carbs. Also, you must be so busy so I think having microwavable meals is the obvious choice. This is not a hate comment btw, i love your content and find you very inspiring! Just some advice if you were curious about eating more plant-based (cause you said the spaghetti was vegan)
