It's interesting how much others eat WFPB a day, I don't lose much weight even though I've been eating plantbased for 8 years. First Dr Esselstyn, then Dr Michael Greger, then chef AJ. Thanks for this video, it show me how much other plantbased eaters eat.

I bumped into your channel. Researching the DailyDozen to share with my daughter who is new to plant-based eating. I think you’ve done a great job! Thanks for sharing what you eat in a day.😊

Awesome! I'm so glad it was helpful! I don't always specifically follow the daily dozen, but I have many other what I eat in a day videos very close to the daily dozen that might also be helpful. Thanks for watching! Here's the what I eat playlist if you're interested: ru-vid.com/group/PLIxkVUxdKFe3Vw4KSVb8I3gk4RJ1Hs_iu

I discovered your channel looking for meal ideas from The daily dozen. . Im always looking for new things to try and you've really inspired me. I love your plant update too. I have my son's two cats living with us at the moment and they won't leave my poor plants alone. I love them both but looking forwards to when they move out in march. And hopefully my plants will look like yours. Best wishes from Wales ❤

Thinking you’re the healthiest of all the healthy you tubers and I don’t know how you don’t get sick of those steel cut oats every morning. So also wondering how you got to be so motivated and disciplined omg

Oats are one of my favorite foods! I've always loved them and seriously think I could eat them breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Plus I change up the fruit every now and then so I don't get bored. I'm naturally pretty disciplined, so I lucked out there and that definitely helps. But I'm motivated because I had several chronic health concerns (allergies, asthma, acne, ulcerative colitis, high cholesterol) that disappeared when I started eating this way. Plus I feel so much better and have more energy when I keep it up. It's weird, but the more "strict" I am the easier it seems to be because I actually crave these foods now. Thanks for watching!

@@showmemovegan yeah that is weird but I’ve been thinking too that the healthier meals are somehow more stimulating to my taste buds yet some part of me says cutting out salt is where I’ve to draw the line and if I even dare I will sabotage my great success so far….so idk definitely weird like you said

@@chipnewkie4307 yeah I'd say eat some salt if it helps you stay on track! I myself am not 100% salt-free. I sometimes use a little coconut aminos or soy sauce. My diet evolves too, so keep doing what works, and adjust as needed to help you feel your best.

Oats are so versatile. You can " flavour" them with all kinds of fruits,nuts, seeds.

How do you cook the sorghum?
@showmemovegan
@showmemovegan 10 месяцев назад
I do 2 cups sorghum with about 6 cups of water in my 6 quart Instant Pot at high pressure for 30 minutes. Then drain the excess liquid. That's the method I prefer, but I've also done it on the stovetop, same sorghum/water ratio but simmer for 1 hour.
