My ranking of UCSB Dinning commons: 1. Carrillo(best overall) 2. Portola(biggest with the most variety) 3. DLG(Biggest selection of ice cream) 4. Ortega However, all of these dinning commons have surprise menu once in a while. For example, Ortega might serve roast chicken in some days, which is unbeatably good. I usually will go yoshinoya if I have time cuz it’s fast and serve very decent Asian food on the campus, even though it’s located at Ellings Hall(better than panda, in my mind haha)

I will try Yoshinoya, I haven’t eaten at the ucen or anything yet! I’ve also heard mixed reviews on Portola, maybe I will go for brunch 😊 I agree with your rankings though, thanks Steve!!
