Josh's Life is everyone's dream.... His job: Eating food from all over all the world... His wife: An incredible chef... so he gets to eat incredible food everytime... One heck of a life man :)
Well she's teaching you guys how to cook too, so if you are a lady practice to serve your man like this, and if you are a guy maybe you can serve to your lady..
Gabie's life is evryone's dream : Her job : doing what she wants and traveling where she wants. Her hudsband : encourage what she does and talking about everything with her mother language. (Which is not just one)
@jonathan Well that's what Josh is doing. He has an extremely talented and beautiful wife in Gabie, and he's very successful with his dream career, which is basically eating food lol. So you just said a more complicated version of the original comment
As a French I'm really happy to see others enjoying French food, sharing it, learning it. Thank you. All your dishes looks delicious. Ah.. Ça a l'air délicieux.
It's amazing how Josh always compliments Gabie's cooking, you can see he truly appreciates his wife's effort and talent. Especially saying it out loud. Silence is sometimes worse than criticism because you see they're eating it but you don't know if it's just edible, need some work on, or actually enjoyable. As a person who cooks a lot, it means so much when people appreciate and compliments your cooking. It gives you confidence and reassurance that your effort is not wasted. For me it even makes me want to be creative and explore more on my cooking. So please always compliment the people around you, it means a lot.
Lol i wish my dad is like that. My dad never compliment my mom's cooking. He always criticized them which makes me angry (lol my mom's food is amazing okay!!). I once told my dad to cook for himself.
also cutting off the excess crust is something professional bakers and pastry chefs do. normally they’ll cook the crust about halfway, until it is firm. then they’ll trim the excess neatly, and finish baking it. they do this because pastry shrinks in the oven, so trimming halfway through cooking creates a perfectly neat edge. the extra-crispy pieces are the chef’s reward/treat!
I remember in one of Korean Englishman videos that if Josh doesn't do loud "HMMMMM" means the food is just okay, seeing he always do it means Gabbie's food is extremely good!!
I'm french and this is legit what I ate this week lol. I highly recommend everyone to try Niçoise salad this summer. It is easy to make, healthy, and absolutely deliçious. I also think it can be easily adaptable for anyone used to mediteranean food, as pointed out by Gabbie.
@@Hero69 if you like chickpeas try tossing them in cumin, coriander, garam masala/curry powder, salt, pepper and oil and roasting them til they’re crispy. stupendous snack.
@@tais1355 that actually sounds pretty delicious as well as insanely simple! Since the weekend is upon me, I might try it tomorrow, in a small batch, and if I like it, make a giant batch for the week. They don't go bad, do they?
@@Hero69 they normally get eaten up pretty quick in my house so I’m not sure. in an airtight container they might last the week, but I’m not a food safety expert!
@@nialmagdl234 I hate both the grocery and cleaning part. I will gladly cook if there is someone else who restocks the ingredients and cleans the kitchen haha...
Gabby must be happy to always hear many compliments of how delicious her food everyday from Josh "wow, this is legit" "baby, it's so delicious" "how can you make it" I'll be happy too if my beloved one can be happy with my cook...it's such a source of happiness
Time to stare at these videos again and imagine my characters having a domestic life where they aren’t suffering, Audrey who grew up in various cultures but more on Asian-like culture and Diana who is most likely to be English in my story’s world if compared to our world’s cultures. ☺️
This is like torture, but the good kind, "y'know whut I mean?" (definitely said that in Gabie's voice in my head) Keep it up Gabie, your videos are inspiring and just the kind everyone needs. Much love and God bless from Dubai
I love watching you cook Gabbie. It's so calming, but so professional at the same time. As someone who can't cook that well and is scared to cook for other people, I really enjoy your videos and seeing everyone's reactions.
A little tip that I'm making at home for all the quiches : spread a fine layer of mustard at the bottom, before putting your egg mixture, it's soooo yummy 😋 (And for information, if you cook a gratin dauphinois with cheese, it'll become a "gratin savoyard" ^^ but it's just words so not really important x)
@Korean Music Translator Yes of course ! Normaly, I mix some Dijon mustard and whole grains mustard (half-half) ☺ It's depend of your taste and if you like the taste of the mustard more or less strong ^^
I love how the two of you switch from English to Korean! It shows your husband has a deep love and appreciation for the Korean language! I cant express enough, how many of my friends and family have married white men who have never bothered to learn their spouse's culture and languages! This is really special!
"I want to eat more" "no no no 노노노 당근아 (=carrot)" 😂😂 love the editing, I seriously appreciate it, you guys worked hard and it shows. Thank you ❤️ it's always nice to watch. Puts me in a good mood.

Here France !!! hehe 😃 great video bravo for the recipes, it's tempting 😋 Hello from France 😉 😘
Hmm you have squeezy mayo like Chris and Jenny! Do you pay the extra purely for the squeeze factor or for the marital harmony?! True Jollybeans know what I'm on about😂
@@JaniPRicanluv there kinda is (historically speaking). but theres nothing wrong with wanting to make ur partner a meal. nothing wrong with enjoying that.
@@sita487 I know history and I know what patriarchy is. She is a chef she studied French cuisine and went to culinary school it’s what does and loves to do, it’s her art and she just so happens to share it with her husband. She makes her own money and works just like her husband their relationship isn’t patriarchal let’s not demonize their relationship like that and to say her actions are patriarchal all because she’s a woman and he is a man is to also feed into it the patriarchy with the thought and ideology that when women cook it is “When men cook food, it's art… but when women cook, it's their duty.”
You guys should watch the Australian film "The Castle", particularly the scenes where the husband appreciates his wife's cooking. :-) (although Gabie's cooking is much better)
