What I Eat To Heal Acne Fast! Because sometimes zit happens, you wake up to an angry inflamed acne breakout wreaking havoc on your skin, maybe it's even the painful deep cystic type of acne... and nobody needs that cramping their style and threatening to leave scar damage in it's wake. The absolute fastest way I've found to pull the plug on acne is through a healing anti-inflammatory diet, think of whole foods bursting with color and rich in antioxidants! Avoid any trigger foods (if you have food sensitivities), processed food and drink plenty of water. At the first signs of an acne breakout I'll do a detox with light, healthy, plant-based meals like this to cleanse the body and let it focus on healing quickly. Let your food be your medicine!

I’ve been taking a 2oz shot of wheat grass every day and adding all the other ones mentioned above, into my diet. It’s week 3 and my skin is clear and I only have a few scars left, that are shrinking every day! A healthy veggie diet is key to acne curing!

@Jessi Boo Just cut out all the expensive stuff like fresh berries and avocado, and buy veggies/fruits that are in season, and berries that are frozen. Frozen food are freezed just after they're picked so vitamin loss is really minimal.

I know!! Those Fit Teas and Slim teas. No, it's real food that helps. Maybe the teas do help but that should be along with fruits and veggies.

I've been watching you for years and I'm not much of a commentator. i recently tried a vegan diet for almost 2 months and i not only dropped weight, got my clearest skin, and best hair but my depression and anxiety where almost not even there and i promise it was astoundingly like the best months of my life. i am hoping to find the motivation to go full on vegan this year. you are my inspiration thank u so much for being awesome Christine! I have been following you for years and it is amazing to see what a transformation you have gone through. You look more beautiful than ever. I have also struggled with cystic acne as well as stomach issues and it was due to food sensitivities I never knew about. I'm not a medical expert but, eat just what you need. Leave behind the pleasures of food, it wasn't meant for us. And fast one day once a week. And get your probiotics and leafy greens. I use oat bran for carbs and veggies. Boil your protein. And pick out what you know bad for you.

Wow I loved this, Christine! Seriously. It was sooo helpful. I eat plantbased 98% of the time but I fell off during the holidays of course but I am super excited to try some of these recipes. The butternut squash and apple looks so good! And Im definitely trying those pico de gallo tacos. I always juice. I love juicing. I do it almost daily. It really does help with my skin. I think Im going to film a video on my favorite juice recipes because I LOVE fresh, pressed juices. They're healing, magical potions for the body. ❤

Omgosh I'm so glad I watched this vid - I don't have acne, but am trying to eat more veggies. Having grown up with the ho-hum boiled vegetables, I have to think hard about new ways to prepare them. This video is so colorful, not hard to prepare at all! Kind of like flowers - they all look pretty no matter how you combine them! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the advice on how to help prevent acne. I fell off the wagon and been craving alot off sweets lately. And now I'm seeing bumps appear on face. Christine, this video is great! I have been a Lacto Ovo vegetarian ALL my life, but now I am having major problems with my gallbladder and have been pretty much forced vegan. I have been struggling trying to come up with ideas of what to eat other than plain old salad because so much triggers attacks for me. So other than the beans and cabbage, everything else you use , I can eat . Yay! Any ideas for a lower protein? These foods will be great for the inflammation of my gallbladder as well as my skin. I love how you make everything you eat look so great and I completley agree that a colorful diet is good for you. But be careful with the mushrooms, they are not supposed to be eaten raw. They contain a toxin that is not good for you and this toxin is reduced when the mushrooms are cooked. Even when they are cooked you should not eat too much.

The omega 8006 juicer is amazing! It's a masticating juicer so it takes longer to juice but the amount of juice you get is significantly higher. You can also make nut butters and ice cream with it :) it also has a 15 year warranty x

If you start a detox camp, I'll be there! You're amazing! The thought of eating this clean and healthy everyday sounds wonderfully terrifying. I'd really like to try it. I wonder how people with traditional 9-5s accomplish this? Lots of meal prep I assume?

Love your videos Christine but if you are highly food sensitive then even the foods you suggest to detox can be problematic, particularly oranges and sweet potatoes. The only way to find out if you are allergic to foods is to muscle test through kinesiology and eliminate those foods from your diet.

Nia LaLa V allergy testing is too expensive at this point for me. But yes, I will be doing the elimination diet on myself. But I am just very fascinated by this subject, and love to see what triggers other people.:)

Lisa Wade Thank you.:) But I tried Nina and Randa's method, and it didn't work for me, but I haven't given up lol. I have a feeling its my liver that has a hard time detoxifying androgens, so they get recirculated in my blood stream causing my acne.

+Alina Danilchenko gir, we in the same boat. i'm vegan, and i still get acne regularly. but, it's not fat that's causing it. in fact, through experimentation i've learned it's better i eat a bit of fat every single day. when i practically cut fats from my diet i was experiencing mental fogginess and concentration issues. also, i wasn't satiated and kept craving "something" though i was physically full. life's much better now i eat them. there are so many factors that contribute to skin health. now i am wondering if i have low stomach acid. also, there's stress and not getting sleep regularly which regulates hormones (and, of course, if they're out of whack your skin could suffer the consequences). however, i am pretty convinced digestion is the culprit. i've always had stomach issues even since i was less than a year old and i think because my body doesn't process food well, it comes out through my skin. anyway, it's something i think about often haha, and am always working on, but i'm not going to stop living life because of it. you shouldn't either : ) best wishes ~~~ !
