Thank you for sharing your journey with your teeth! I dont have dental issues but I have a scarring alopecia and slowly losing my hair and there's nothing I can do about it. As someone who has gone through the same thing and my bottom four are missing as well, I get it. When I lost my first tooth, I was traumatized. I will say that it gets easier and it ends up not feeling as traumatic over time. Hope you feel better soon, Shea- hang in there!

Shea you are so sweet to share this journey with us. You will help so many people to know that yes, it’s hard, yes it’s difficult but with determination it can be done. This applies to everything in life. As a 3 year veteran of two broken and removed teeth I can attest to the frustration, pain and sickness I too have felt over these past years. I enjoy how real you are in your vlogs. There are way too many RU-vid influencers who concentrate on their appearance with a ton of makeup and expensive products. Hun, like I said, I had to get my FULL dentures (because my case is so rare I cannot get implants). I went through 5 surgeries, 10 rootcanals, 2 frenectomies, and all of my last ten teeth filed down flat to fit under my dentures. All of the happened in 4.5 months! If I can do it at 14, you can do this at our age. We are women, we are strong, we are powerful, we adapt and persevere. You are doing SO well, already and even with the temporary partial, you look amazing! It will seem like a long process and it may feel alittle drawn out, but it will be over before you know it and you will be feeling SO proud and confident when all is complete. WE LOVE YOU SHEA!! 💜💜

This video is a good example of how material things aren’t what bring real happiness. Everyone, please cherish whatever good health and love you have in your life. It’s some not until you either have everything you want or can afford everything you want that you realize the things themselves don’t mean that much. I’m truly sorry Shea. I have had 12 crowns, 11 root canals, 1 implant (front top tooth), former braces, veneers (that later cracked and fell off and became all crowns), the list goes on and on. I have had an abscess in the back bottom left side that had to be root canal treated three times it was so infected before it could be finalized. I have the equivalent of a BMV in my mouth over the years and still have pain and suffering regularly. You are not alone. 🙏🏻💜

Thank God you have the money for such good care. Millions of everyday people suffer with what you are going through. People die from infected teeth. The dental industrial complex charges so much for dental care and non-toxic teeth replacements like the ones you are getting. The fear, pain, and suffering are the same no matter what your resources are. Due to a car accident, my jaw and teeth were broken, infection set in, and I almost died. None of my 3 insurances (car/health/dental) covered my care. I had 18 hours of surgery over two days, including extraction and bone grafting by specialists. Then when it came to replacing my teeth, they couldn't get the fit right, and I was allergic to the materials they used. I spent 4+ years eating only blended food. I now have well-functioning implants. I'm lucky. I was able to go through a professional dental implant school in Mexico. Nice purse. I hope you continue to heal and have excellent care. Keep up with the salt water rinses.

So important to know... I also had an abscess after a root canal and had to have surgery on my gum and re do the root canal. Every year I get xrays for this reason and that's how they check to see that the underside of the dead tooth is well and clean. Was very traumatic for me too. One also tip is feel your jaw. Touch it push it, if it's tender in any way go to the dentist and ask for xrays if there's infeccion they'll show... big hugs merry Xmas and safe recovery to you Shea!

I got a jawbone infection from infected wisdom teeth, be so careful with infected teeth! Finally got all of the cavitation sites cleaned out and my health is so much better. If you continue feeling sick, please research gang green jawbone infection and symptoms/long term effects. Be safe❤. And your new teeth look so good!!!

My mouth is a severe dental disaster since I was 2yrs old. I'm 70. I've had root canals, extractions. Implants. Implants & bridges breaking off, cracking and falling out. I'm in pain & know infections are brewing. My dentist experiences have been awful. I accidentally hit on Shea's you tube. Hearing about holistic dentistry has given me courage to find an holistic dds in my area. Now how do I do this whole mouth $$$$ on social security is my challenge. Thanks Shea.

My heart goes out to you. I have been suffering for decades with bruxism and teeth damage and have spent thousands on caps, fillings, root canals, grind guards and botox and nothing is resolved. I can get new grind guards for $700 or a sleep study for $1k or maybe a surgery and have no idea which to choose and what will actually fix the issue. It is a total nightmare and means I delay other medical treatments when I prioritize dental spending.

@@cheryln6685 I said that because Shea pointed out that luxury bags weren't really her thing compared to her earlier self. And then later on, she told Josh she wanted the bag. In my view, Josh might be a gift giver (i.e people who love expressing love via gifts). So the suggestion is for Shea to communicate that to Josh. Maybe an experience from Josh like a special Christmas meal or an activity or a different physical gift. This way, Josh gets to give gifts that Shea is currently into. Nothing wrong with that. Communication is key ☺.

I have a cracked tooth in my upper molar, right side. They gave me a root canal and cap three years ago, but it still acts up. The last time I went to the dentist they hit it on purpose, and it hurt, unlike when they hit my other teeth. I get headaches from it off and on from it. They told me if it doesn't calm down, I might have to have it pulled because there would be nothing left they can do for me. I am praying it will not happen. I have been brushing with Sensodyne toothpaste every morning and night, but I have a feeling my fate is sealed, and I will be doing something like you had done in my future. I am kind of aggravated about it because caps and root canal surgery are expensive and I already have had another tooth pulled and a titanium screw implanted, I really don't want to do this again. But good to know it will take 6 to 8 weeks for the pain to go away. You look so much better than the first video you shot of the day at the dentist. Good luck, your new temp teeth look great.

What a great video. Thank you, Shea, for being so transparent with your viewers. Loved the way you took the time to help us learn from what you're going through with your teeth. It was a great reminder regarding how it's better to have your teeth pulled instead of getting root canals. If you'd gotten your tooth pulled instead of getting the root canal, you would never have gone through this. And it would have been so much less expensive. I'm sorry you had to go through this, but it was a great lesson learned. Oh, and please know what a pleasure it was to see how much you love and respect your wonderful husband. I'm so happy for you!

My husband is going through a lot of tooth pain and needs extensive treatment as well. It is so difficult for him. Unfortunately he let it go for many years and now his health is suffering. My only option at this point is to keep my gums as clean as I can and try to maintain my teeth. I have bone loss so even if I had the money I am not a candidate for implants or gum surgery.

The inside being white of your beautiful bag is ideal, for me who has suffered with 12 eye surgeries to try to save my vision, would love a bag that is white inside, it would be a godsend, I do continue to endure limited vision and to see what is inside my bag of a dark interior is almost impossible especially if my wallet or glasses are black etc ! I'm having the same surgery on one tooth on Friday. It's not my first, so that helps with the anxiety. But every procedure has its own apprehension. I will be very glad to have it behind me. So glad your journey has gone as well as it has. I hope that continues!

I can so relate to what you are going through. I have terrible teeth. I had bone grafts about 15 yrs ago. It helped for quite a while, but now I'm back at point A again. I have had to have 4 teeth pulled due to bone loss, infections, root canals, etc, and I currently have 1 tooth that is hanging on by a thread and my 2 front lower teeth need bone and gum grafts. Teeth problems are the worst. I have the temporary thing that I can wear, but like you, have to take out to eat anything. Its embarrassing and frustrating. I don't have the money to get bone grafts again, let alone implants, so I just keep hoping all of my teeth aren't eventually going to fall out, lol! I feel for you! I'm 62 and have dreamed of having a nice smile again, but it's just not in my finances to do so. I just retired. I pray your journey goes well and you end up with a beautiful smile and good health. I'm 45 in perfect health. I have an amazing lifestyle and get compliments on my looks whenever I go out. Looking at me you could never tell but I struggle with the same thing. Dental struggle since my late teens😭it doesn't stop and dental specialists are perplexed as to what's happening with my teeth, they simply have no answer

You’re on the right path, I’m proud of you. Continues healing for 2024. ❤ My adult daughter is going thru this and had ALL her bottom teeth pulled before Thanksgiving. She was in so much pain before she used a TENS unit on her jaw. She’s slowly healing.

So glad you're feeling better, Shea! I know what you mean about the infection needing time to clear out. For me, I ended up with an acute abscess at a root canal site that had evidently been brewing for some time. One evening it just literally went from 0 to 60 in the space of 3 minutes and I was in excruciating pain. I had just moved 750 miles so I didn't even have a dentist! Anyway, after all the surgical extraction, etc, it took months for my face to go back to the normal shape - the abscess had actually displaced my nose and disfigured my face. For about 5 YEARS, the smile lines on that side of my face were much smoother! It can take a long time! Obviously, it won't be that long for you - your face looks normal already. And I didn't feel bad for all that time, but my body took that long to erase all the effects. Hope you had the best Christmas you could. And I agree - Josh is a spectacular husband!

I have gone through what you are going through now… I have 4 implants and one bridge… I just had the latest implant and a bridge completed in April 2023..: this one gave me so much anxiety. At the end, it was all good… I must say that the implants are fantastic. They are even stronger than my own teeth… you will be so so happy when the implants are done in a few months time… they will look so so amazing good.

Oh my you have no idea how much you sharing this helps me into going and having my teeth checked. I have receding gums on my lower front teeth and have been putting it off for way too long. My tooth literally is chipping off in the center between on the backside. I have so much fear of not only how bad it’s gotten but how much it’s going to cost to repair. Which I know the longer I put it off it’s only going to be worse. So thank you for sharing your story and keeping it real! ❤

look you did it!!! only can get better from here!! i am sure there is nerve involvement with all that pain, there may be residual infection in you, i didn’t feel fine i had a headache 24/7 for a year, i experienced exact same, still going through it, and only had one tooth out!! you’ve done miraculously !!! and you are helping people telling about it!!
