What I got my kids for Easter 2019! BUDGET EASTER BASKET IDEAS DIY💕In this Dollar Tree and Target haul, we decided to do this Easter for ALL 6 kids for $20 or less on each basket to keep easter on a budget. Yes love it! My son gets into everything and we basically rent the upstairs of his dads parents house so all I have is the ‘magical closet’ I put stuff I bought ‘to help out’ then santa & the eb come pick it up or I order ‘put in requests’ on the parents only santa/eb websites. Used to do the mailbox instead of closet but we had moved to the country and the mailbox is all the way down the driveway no way I could quickly grab it back & shove it in the closet.

Try tissue paper in place of grass. They sell it at the dollar tree and its so much neater especially with little ones.

We have the tradition of buying our kids an Easter Mug each year. Although our kids are now 18 and 19 years old they still expect to get a Easter Mug each year. I remember at Easter a few years ago that I thought that they were too old to be getting Easter Mugs, but boy was I wrong! I was told by my kids that it was tradition that they get a mug, Happy Easter.

We have 7 grandloves. 4 boys and 3 girls and we always give them Easter baskets with similar gifts! And even though the 3 oldest are in college, they will still get one! 🌷🐣🐥

Dollar tree is a block from our house! We reward Jaiden n Seb for helping or good behavior and then take them there! Great store!!!

My boys have big easter baskets that I save and reuse every year. To fill them I always put their swimsuits and summer outfits. They do get a little bit of candy and toys but not a lot.

At Walmart they have little glow sticks that fit in the plastic eggs, my older kids love hunting for the glow eggs at night

Our Blessed Life Same. Swim suits. Goggles. Out door toys like toy for pool or sandbox toys. A ball maybe. And some summer clothes too

I actually buy stuff for my own basket as well as my sister and our 3 cousins (age 16 and under). Usually I throw in the typical jellybeans and chocolates, for us older girls, I do chapsticks and cheap face masks, the boys get books and sometimes a cheap LEGO toy. And then I always throw in some pez, ring pops or pop rocks. Every year I find new and cool stuff to add as well. I definitely ALWAYS go overboard and am trying to stay in a budget as well!

You did great!! $86 isn’t bad at all for 6 kids!!! The cheaper grass from Walmart is awesome to know! I love the biodegradable eggs that’s awesome!! Your Family is so sweet! I love your videos! I watched u for a long time when I found out I was pregnant for my 4 year old, again when I was pregnant for my now 6 month old🙏 Your channel is growing so well!! Congrats!! Play doh is usually a constant in all holiday goodie baskets, stockings. I make sure it’s the smaller ones and my boys love them as they keep them busy for the day. Candy wise always a simple chocolate figure for the holiday.

What I did for my older son who is 16 I get him a baseball hat and fill it with his favorite jerky and candy. He loves getting those. Also I will put ear buds and accessories for his phone in there too.

We don't have any set things for the easter baskets but every year I buy the plastic eggs and fill them with candy or easter related bits and pieces and hide them around the house for kids to find a nice little easter egg hunt.

We do confetti filled eggs for our egg hunt. It’s something that both my older teens and younger children enjoy. For their baskets I try to stick with things that they can use as it gets warmer like bubbles, chalk and sunglasses. You did great sticking to your budget but still providing fun baskets for each child.

I reuse the same wicker easter baskets every year and I reuse the plastic grass😅 I know the grass is cheap but I just feel bad throwing out the plastic and re buying every year. You did a great job mama😄

The whack a packs are super cool the dollar tree has them for every holiday. We also got the dinosaur egg for my 10 yr old. I always shop at Dollar tree, Walmart and five and below for Easter.

Last year we bought some small disposable plastic bowls with lids and we put rice in each of them then added food coloring and colored eggs by putting an egg in and shaking them until they were colored as much as we wanted them to be. They turned out so good and a lot less mess than coloring them with the Paas and a lot more fun for all of us, including the adults!

I love dollar tree! Literally all the basket fillings are from DT and Target dollar spot. Luckily they have nice baskets from their grandma (my mom) and we reuse them every year.

We reuse our eggs, baskets and "grass" (we do colored shredded paper basket filler) every year. That cuts down the cost a bunch for our family of 8. My go to's I buy the kiddos every year are bubbles, sidewalk chalk, whoopee cushions, books, coloring tools/art supplies and puzzles.

They are going to love everything.. Not judging because everyone does Easter baskets different but I got my son for his first Easter a actual basket with a nice fabric lining and I took the lining out and had it embroidered with his name on the front and on the back the year. And he is now 6 and we have used the same basket every year. And will continue to use it. I think that we save money in the long run and it’s something that he will have until he is grown. Just an idea that you might want to think about for the future. And if not that’s cool too.

Good Job mama!! You did a smashing job keeping to budget! When my kids were young, I began a tradition my mom started, and that was having an actual basket, that we reused, every year. Yes, it was a pain storing them , but the kids loved it. I was also divorced and on a VERY strict budget, so my kids basket consisted of one large chocolate bunny, a few Peeps, some jelly beans and one or two Cadbury eggs. The Easter Bunny also put a few of the dyed eggs in . Sometimes a new Video was also left as a family gift. It was simple, and very budget ( and in a way, dental ) friendly...😉 The dyed eggs were then used for chef salads or egg salad, deviled eggs etc to supplement or be meals for the following week. ( We dyed the night before Easter) ...I miss those days... PS...my now 28 yr old still has HIS pokemon cards from the 90's, and now HIS son has a ready made collection whenever he wants to start collecting!

Love it. I still make a basket for my 17 year old. I put a gaming gift card in it as well. He loved Roblocks when he was that age! Now he wants Steam cards. I love how you don't fret over having the exact same amount of items or money in each basket. My boys are 17 and 9. I would much rather make their baskets something they really like than trying to focus on them being even. Good job!

I love the dollar tree so much especially for holidays! A few years ago I lived next door to a dollar tree and I was really struggling really bad and if it wasn't for the dollar tree I wouldn't have eaten at all. So i Just Love that place so much. dollar tree will always have a special place in my heart lol 😂😂 You're such an amazing mom Stephanie!!

This is going to be my son's second Easter. I got bubbles, a bubble machine, one outfit, one pair of pjs, 2 little stuffed animals, one of those velcro ball and mit things, a kinder egg, sunglasses. I think I went too overboard cause I think I have a few other things too lol. I need to set up a budget next year! You did great!
