The house and roof wash industry is starting to get flooded with people trying to charge people for so called accelerator programs to help people make huge amounts of money, 99% of these courses are full of BS, I have no problem with people sharing info and experience but charging for it is not right.

Yes mate! Completely correct. RU-vid is awesome and so is making your own mistakes. You learn so much on the job. I’m always thrilled to share what I know because I love this industry!

Hey mate, also from the Waikato. Not a guy looking to start his own company but just on the look for a decent residential water blaster that won't break the bank. Do you have much experience on water blasters around the $1000 range? Cheers Mate, thanks for the info.

hey mate i wanna do this as a supplement to my job,i have watched your how to build a pressure washer and so am interested in building a decent one,i wanna mainly do driveways and house washing,roof washing only as a last resort,my question to you is what list of chemicals should i have?,also i have a technical question,does having a commercial electric pressure washer mean a longer life for the pump?cause i was thinking as soon as you let go of the trigger the motor stops,if thats the case then you wouldnt need a belt driven or reduction gearbox?is this how it works?thx for any input,cheers from oz,thx Troy
@WashRite
@WashRite 3 года назад
Hi, Most people us SH, sodium Hypochloride AKA bleach and a decent soap or surfactant. This is the main chemicals you will need, I don't know where your based so not sure on brands in your area. The biggest problem with electric pressure washers is electric and water don't mix and to have an electric motor large enough to run a pump you need will require a huge generator so easier just to use a petrol power pump

Hi troy Great videos very informative.. Im on the Kapiti coat and have just put a blaster unit and tank on the bck of a colorado ute. I see you use be for alot of your gear. Have you had any experience with the power ease engines as I have the 15hp one.? Cheers Andrew Morris
@WashRite
@WashRite 3 года назад
Hi Andrew, Yep we buy a huge amount from BE Pressure, The Power Ease is a Chinese engine but is by far the best Chinese engine on the market. They are a great starter engine for someone starting out, Plus BE has a great warranty on them. In saying that once you start making good money you cant beat the reliability of a Honda and a 3-year commercial warranty is always handy to have. Best of luck with your new business. If your ever in Hamilton our door is always open and your always welcome.

Hey Troy im fresh in the industry working around Turangi/Taupo & yes I get most of my info off you tube. To your knowledge is there anywhere a newbie can go to get hands on experience with different types of pressure washing, other than these cowboy courses you speak of?
@WashRite
@WashRite 3 года назад
Hi Mate, The best option is to call around and offer to work for other companys for 1 day per week for free, not better learning than on the job learning and no one turns away free labour
