WHAT I LIKE/DISLIKE ABOUT MLP OC'S (Speedpaint) 

I DO have an alicorn oc named Rosebud. She was born into a tribe of alicorns who don’t get cutie marks. The tribe isn’t from Equestria, and as such their full powers are unknown.

Ocs with very bright colors hurt my eyes oofff my oc used to have very bright colors then I toned down the colors

My oc has a simple design but hey I’m proud of myself

I have an Alicorn OC named Nocturne Eclipse and she lived thousands and thousands of years before modern Equestria. She had the ability to make both solar and lunar eclipses happen which, made other ponies fear her and because of this she went into hiding and disappeared from history entirely.

Amazing Art! ^^ I respect your opinion on OCs 😉 I tried my hardest to make Sweetie Swirl Unique, And not like any other OC around, even though there’s probably someone out there with a very similar OC 😂😂😂 About my OC’s name though..... So, I’m not too good at naming OC’s in my opinion, & when I came up with the name “Sweetie Swirl” I was really pleased of the name.... Until I realized hasbro made a pony that has the exact same name 😂😂😂 But then I realized there’s lots of OCS with the name “Sweetie Swirl” so I decided to stick with the name because it describes me. Showing kindness & compassion is what I do best!

I can agree to the points of trying to not make your character look like a cannon one. But I also have to say with things like personality sure try to make them unique and not be overpowered, but don’t try so hard to make it unique that you end up creating a character you don’t like. In the end one of the most important things about a character you make is that you like them and are happy with them

I'm planning on making an "alicorn" oc. She dosen't have a reason to be an alicorn "i'm working on that" she dosen't like being an alicorn, and dosen't want to be considered a "princess" so she hides her wings so she can look like a normal pegauses.

I can't lie, I love my alicorn OC. She is the daughter of king sobra and princess luna in a AU where Sombra was reformed for a while. She became an alicorn and the princess of hope after not only did she help reform sombra for a second time, she helped her mother overcome seeing nightmare moon as a bad side of herself. She has a simple design that is pretty much a mix of Luna and sombra but I just adore her loads

My oc, Zukii has a backstory, the backstory is inspired by Yandere Simulator (game), she’s emotionless when she was a child, she found art, she can feel anything, however, she wants to be the *only* art queen, when she saw others calling other people art queen, Zukii will kill them, i designed the victim too, the victim’s name is Zoe, Zukii kills for *attention*, i tried to make my oc as unique as posible, my oc is kind of simple, but she wears 1 accessorie, but she dosent wear her accessorie often, she rarely smile, her cutie mark is a heart beat line thing idk what it’s called- behind a pencil drawing some scribbles, that means her talent is “Killing For The Art Queen” Apearence: Coat: really light pink, almost to white Hair: indigoish blue with purple, pink, reddish pink and blue highlights (all warm colors) Eyes: purple with reddish pink (gradient) (all warm colors, yes i love warm colors) Specie: long unicorn, with long and sharp horn Horn magic: blue, greenish blue and green (gradient) (again, all warm colors 😂) My oc made when I was 7- she was a complete copy of rarity, with purple eyes and a bright blue beret 😂 👌, then she changed, into exactly same like Zukii, but not warm colors, bright colors 😂 and a different cutie mark, now, Zukii, is Zukii 😂 👌 Noice opinion vid and noic art owo

For my mlp oc, shimmer shine, I made her fur (is that what horses have? Idk) purple (Cause that’s my favorite color), and I made her mane grayish teal (Btw, if you ever wanna make a mlp oc with purple hair, consider using grayish teal for the mane bc it really suits well!), I gave her glasses (bc I wear glasses), eye bags (Bc SLEEP BE FOR THE WEAK/J), and made her cutie mark two roses (Kinda funny bc she is a HUGE horror fanatic)

I remember having an oc with a blue fox tail, purple & blue hair, light purple fox ears, blue fox eyes, light purple skin, and wings. Yeah, it’s that bad.

I have a oc that is basically a concept the idea of her was inspired by the color scheme of the rainbow factory au rainbow dash. She has no name but she is like a navy blueish mare with a mane that fades from grey to a rainbow towards the tips.. and she is actually disabled and has wheelchair that is like the dog ones that help her walk. I haven't had any ideas on character traits and stuff nor cutie marks so 0,-,0

I have certain ocs that I'm proud of even if it's just two. One of the two I am guilty of making her a re-color oc when I first created her. First Oc. SunRose: SunRose is a orange pegasus with a soft shade of red for her mane and tail, she has bright blue eyes with a rose for a cutie mark. Her current design is sort of the same the only thing that I changed about her is her mane/tail style. Her mane and tail are now smooth with her mane being pulled back behind her ears being kept in place by a headband. The headband it's self was a gift from her birth mom, her birth mom had died during child birth. In her backstory I had her birth mom, Rose Pastel, become really good friends with Luna. Rose Pastel and her husband Solar Ray had asked Luna to be the Godmother to their child, almost everyone on Rose's side of the family was dead and Solar's family was far away from Canterlot save for his twin brother Solar Beam. Luna agreed. Yes Luna did have help raising a baby from her sister, cause that's what sisters do they help each other. The headband was given to Luna to be given to SunRose when Luna felt like SunRose was ready for it, when she got it she got protective over it. SunRose was created in 6th grade of middle school when I was dealing with bullying. So I put a lot of anger and rage into her personality. Yes SunRose has anger problems when it comes to ponies saying that Luna, Celestia, and SunnyDays another oc of mine whose is the adopted daughter of Celestia isn't her real family and that Luna only took her in cause she made a promised to her dead friend. If anyone wants me to tell them about SunnyDays I'll be more then happy to. After Rose Pastel died Solar Ray wanted nothing to do with SunRose so he upped and left the hospital leaving Luna to take care of a newborn foal. SunRose is basically a rose and it's thorns, if you're kind to her and her friends/family she can be sweet as the petals of a rose but talk crap about her friends and family more so talk crap about her dead mother then you'll be taking a trip to the hospital cause SunRose can and will get physical. I think her weak point would be that her anger can sometimes get the best of her. second Oc Fantasy Heart: she is the alicorn you see in my profile, the artwork is done by me. She didn't always look like how she is shown in the artwork now. She was once a tan alicorn with a dark brown mane/tail with greenish blue eyes. She was shy like Fluttershy season 1 ep 1 meeting Twilight for the very first time kind of shy. She kept to herself and tried so hard to make herself less seen by others. She was scared to make friends cause she didn't want to be hurt over and over again. She wanted to make herself invisible. One day she started to heal from what had happened, before anyone asks she was dealing with bullying, and her mane/tail colors changed to a fantasy like rainbow. Dark Blue to light blue, hot pink to light pink, dark purple to light purple. Her eyes had changed to a blinding pink, that design change I still regret ever doing and don't know what went through my head. After a while she found her place, she found what she had been wishing for years, she found friends who helped pull her out of the dark pit that she was once in and helped bring back who was once was, personality wise that is. Her cutie mark is that of a dark blue feather quill with pink, purple, and light blue highlights with a pink heart on the left side, I guess you could say that her cutie mark represents her past and present self that she writes her own story. Fantasy's story is my story. She's backstory is that of my childhood. Like with how I created SunRose I created Fantasy after the bullying had ended. When it comes to Fantasy being an alicorn her weakness is that she can't fight, she's more of a hugger then a fighter but she can swear like a sailor. She won't hold back to call you out on something. Her reason being an alicorn is something I thought about for a while and the only best reason I could come up with is that she embodies my imagination and my creative when it comes to using them for my stories.

I have an MLP OC who had suuuuch a shift in story and he started off as an alicorn 😬 I changed him TWICE, the first time I changed him into an unicorn because I feel as if the alicorn backstory was kind of "weak" and wanted to expand more personality - Luckily I didn't make them OP. I really liked my 2nd OC but still changed it because I feel I based him TOO much on a character that isn't from MLP, where I'm gonna tell you all about my current and probably final interpretation of him --------------------------------------------------------- Name: Moonlit Circuit Age and gender: Male, full-grown stallion Tribe: Earth Pony Career: Pursuing baking, looking to open one in the future, currently in culinary college (And works 2 jobs to pay it off) Design traits: A beanie reminiscent of a baker's toque Cutie Mark: Rolling pin with a splatter of flour behind it Color pallete: Coat- Dark purple Mane (and hoof polish)- A split between white and ivory Eye (and beanie) color- Gold Resides in: A small city I call "Oras", but then moves to Canterlot once he enters college Personality: Hardworking (But he's pushing himself over the edge), faithful, financially selfish, gentle, caring, avoids conflict he's directly a part of (This also means avoids facing it), grateful (But can get jealous of those in a greater position) Backstory- Raised in the city, he slowly learns about the years of generational trauma caused by financial woes and bitter family relations, he strives for a bright future in what he loves and to break those same issues. But it's not easy... Other: Bisexual (Closeted in a majority homophobic family), despite living in a city, the generations of his family up to him all lived in a farm, likes to have daily alone time (But still loves being with friends), always aced biology in school because he adored the teacher, and also aced chemistry but always hated his teacher, favorite color is teal, his productivity is diurnal

Ngl, I personally have a faux alicorn named ... Sasha. :T she was an anti-sue, aka bland and a traumababy. I fixed her up, though, lol. Kinda just inserted her into the "canon" universe, she's a filly who got taken in after a battle with a bad guy and his gang, and got adopted by derpy !!! :3 she looks like an alicorn, but she can't use her wings tbh. Anyways, it was bc of the cringe "ewww a mary suuueeeee!!" OC era that she got nerfed to HELL. Sobs
