Well to be honest there is a origin comic which explains the origins of sonic and eggman! But it's kinda not that neat, but i'm still glad it exists hehe! 👍

Nope MJ only came in after Sonic 2, he was a huge fan of S2 which is why he worked on S3

@flankoor Im pretty sure ya cant and if hes referring to the classic games, theres a single frame where sonics quills go up and he flashes black and white, but this is literally only a special effect

It doesn't help that shadows design came from super sonic, but trust me out of all the characters shadow is the one they planned the least. They couldnt have shown him early because at first his design was gonna be a red and black prototype of Blaze and then a dark blue version of sonic with an eye scar called Terios They switched to shadow so he would have a more identifiable design, giving him chest fluff and different colors as well

The super spines came from wanting people mistaking sonic for shadow to have a reason since the writing was done when he was still terios, so they simply made it where shadow couldve been a super form of sonic

Im pretty sure the super sonic is the same as shadow in sonic riders is saying the same model that was used for super sonic was used for shadow, its just they have different textures.

2:18 this is a reference to another easter egg in Sonic, its infamous for beying a scary message that appears in some creepy pastas, but its based a real easter egg. The game boss music plays while a image of sonic with a realisticish human face, while the message fun is infinite id displayed.
