hey! Right now the weather is really all over the place. It’s been rainy, sunny, cold, and windy. Yesterday it got up to 15 degrees Celsius, but the day before I woke up to 0 degrees. I think make sure to bring at least one winter jacket so that you’re prepared. Summer was pretty hot last year, so bring enough summer tops and shorts/skirts. Also, if you forget some things, it’s really cheap to buy second hand clothes in Germany from Sellpy or Vinted. I bought a great pair of shorts for literally 3€. So exciting that you’re coming here to Aupair! Dm me on Insta, I’d love to chat more!

very hot!! it’s like 33 degrees 😯 I can tell you straight up I didn’t bring enough summer clothes, but a lot of winter clothes ahhh. it has been very beautiful so far. it will be nice to finally get into a routine though after constantly being in the move.

How much kilo the aupair can take to germany?

It depends on your flight weight allowance. As far as I know, you can bring as much luggage as you like. It's just cheaper to stay within the weight allowance because then you don't have to pay extra, but I don't think that should be too hard anyway. :)

Hi! I found my host family on Au Pair World. It’s a really popular site for Aupairs to find their host families. Let me know I you have any other questions!

@@rosmichacko1120 I also messaged a lot of families and didn't get a response at all. Maybe you're looking to early? A lot of my friends who are Au pairs organised it really last minute.
