i wanted my channel to not be like every one else. i hate when youtubers beg for subs at the start and talk about nothing the whole video and never make chapters
I bought a civic sport hatch back 31k out the door after everything including markups on a 25k car also monthly payment is $530 on 6 year loan 6k cash insured under all state 130 a month full coverage 100k-250k each accident no rental I’m 25 years old and my credit was 680 and needed a co sign from my mom.
This should be mandatory viewing for high school. It's real world straight talk. When I paid off my last car $350 a month. I drove it another 5 years. I paid myself the $350 in a separate savings account. I just got the Civic sport touring emptied the special savings and put it down on the car $21,000. Got a 2.99 interest rate. And the payment for the new car is $359. Including the extended warranty. I plan on doing something like it again.
I pay $477 for the same car. No money down. About $67 for full coverage with a new car replacement policy in North Carolina. Full tank is about $40 and I fill up 2 o 3 times a month so $120 per month not week. Total in those 3 is $664 max for me. It really depends on where you are and the deal you get.
it really does. area of the country matters a lot ive noticed. the closer you got at true release date the cheaper it is, also being closer to east canada helps.
@@BlakeFlixx Same. My black Si gets delivered this month. MSRP. I also live in NC but I use USAA. I totaled a mustang on a deer and my insurance dropped $20 lol. Not a typo, my insurance was literally cheaper after they spent 15k fixing my mustang.
Ok I had to go get one. Don’t know why but I did. No money down, good credit and the car payment $632. I have two vehicles and the total insurance for both of them is $230. Ten gallons of fuel a week 93 octane at $3.09 here in central TX, so that’s about $120 a month. Add all that up I pay $982 a month. I don’t plan on modifying until all the warranty is gone, all the extra car money will go toward off-road 4x4 or savings. Maybe I could have done better with that money but I have a super reliable computer. 😊
I'm 45 now, sad to say, but our monthly payment on our new Honda Odyssey is $942 a month! I NEVER would've believed I'd be paying that much for a car payment, but here I am. How did I get here? I put zero down because they gave me 0.9% for 48 months, which is basically free money. They tried to mark it up 2,500 but after a few hours I was able to get rid of that and walk out at MSRP. I suppose it was a good deal, but it does hurt paying 40k for a minivan. Wife is happy though, and we just paid the house off, so the car payment is simply replacing the mortgage payment, so no sweat financially. Oh, I should explain why I'm here. We own 2 civics!! (No payments on those) Love them! And I like yours too! Cheers!
Good advice… back in late 2014 when i was 23 i traded in a base model ford fiesta hatch manual for Fiesta ST, i still owed on the original fiesta but didn’t care and was naive at the time, left with a $500 car payment a month and my job at that time was at a car dealership making $10 an hour luckily i lived with my parents and car payment was my only bill, but my idiot self kept throwing money at the car by modifying it and after a while it started developing issues from driving it hard and constantly modifying it to the point that i just gave up, still owed 11k on it and traded it for a 2019 corolla se with zero miles they did give me 8k for the fiesta but my car payment was still $500 again but was just thankful to have a reliable car and now i traded in that corolla for a 24 civic sport sedan
Work and save as much as you can. When you’re young 21-27 single minimal life commitment’s responsibilities. Now is the time to buy that car. You can always buy a used Civic. It’s tough but it can be done. You just need to work and save your money. Limit your spending, expenses, eating out at restaurants, and limit your party life. Like this gentlemen in the video said. If you have to worry, you cannot afford it at this time. Cars come and go. There will always be a new model every year. I will say the younger you are the more expensive full coverage insurance will be. Especially with a popular car like a Honda Civic Si.
Mine was $32,200 OTD for EX-L hatchback in a premium color, includes all taxes and fees $20,500 down payment - $12,000 coming from my car that was totaled, I added another $8.5k to the down payment 817 credit, 1.9% for 48 months (highest term with lowest rate). This was back in April when I locked this rate. My rate at time of delivery (Sept) would’ve been 2.9%. Monthly car payments are about $225, will end up paying about $400 total in interest when the loan is done
@@Ahmedpakido sorry, but this car is much more than its HP. to me its a daily driver. if you are looking for a hellcat killer, you are searching for the wrong car. however with about 8k into the car you can def hang with hellcats.... civics were not built to race in strait lines, they were built to race in japan on hills and curves weaving in between other cars
About to turn 60 in two days. Got the sport touring. Yea some of the neighbors look at me sideways. I don't care I like the car. It's fun to drive. My wife loves it too. Hope you enjoy.
Got my Sport sedan for MSRP. I had a 2019 CRV leased when they were giving them away. Got back $7000 on that after 2 years when the chip shortage kicked in. $358/60mo on the Civic. Gas every 6-8 weeks.
I put $3000 on my 23 Si and payed $33000 my payment is $601 and my credit score is 798 but I also have 8 years bumper to bumper free of charge as an incentive
I was looking for a "manual" transmission car. Everyone jacked up the price for a manual "except" for Subaru. The dealership jacked the price from $23,000 MSRP to $31,000 after taxes, "plus" I'd have to wait three months to get it in my color and in manual. The next day I found a 2021 hatchback sport in Manual transmission "and" in my color for $21,600. Final bill $23,000. They are still trying to sell me an new one today LoL 😂.........🏹🤠👍
I leased a 22 Ridgeline 43kand a 22 pilot 48k paying 639 1000 down kept it for 6 month then traded it last week for the 22 civic si same color paying the same with 1000 down credit at 627 waiting for the type R work from home I barely drive it 😒 Miami fl
450 a month is like 100 gallons of gas a month depending where u live. 100 gallons multiplied by an average mpg of let’s say 35mpg… comes out to 3500 miles of driving a month. Seems a bit high unless he lives in LA or Hawaii where gas is very expensive.
@@xItsmeFirex yes i build pools so theres a lot of people in the boondocks. also on weekends i side gig sometimes. i have family in Missouri i visit often as well.
$4,000 downpayment would give you a monthly payment of $626. Also if it is $512 you likely financed at 72 months, 512x72 gives you 36,864 plus the 4,000 gives you a total of 40,864 or about 8 grand over MSRP. 😂😂😂
@@xbaconater5883 go to Garden State Honda, I bought two cars from there already. But unfortunately like I said, you just have to know someone to give you a hook up.
That’s about right, you signed for 84 months, so you extended the term which allowed the monthly payments to go down but your interest rate is higher at 84 months.
