After owning one for a lil while now , i personally think its the most practical pace car for everyday life , sure its not the fastest on a dig but once its up n going youre moving through traffic like cake , round Twisties and corners it just eatsss , its a different kind of "fast" in a sense you can get through city relatively quick
@@M5Ak plus with my research on it , it's the same engine as the 10th gen just bigger rods n pistons and VTEC on the exhaust side , it has potential to be something crazy in the future but right out of the box it's perfect , you can beat this thing like it owes you money and it'll still treat you good lol
Work and save as much as you can. When you’re young 21-27 single minimal life commitment’s responsibilities. Now is the time to buy that car. You can always buy a used Civic. It’s tough but it can be done. You just need to work and save your money. Limit your spending, expenses, eating out at restaurants, and limit your party life. Like this gentlemen in the video said. If you have to worry, you cannot afford it at this time. Cars come and go. There will always be a new model every year. I will say the younger you are the more expensive full coverage insurance will be. Especially with a popular car like a Honda Civic Si.
Good advice… back in late 2014 when i was 23 i traded in a base model ford fiesta hatch manual for Fiesta ST, i still owed on the original fiesta but didn’t care and was naive at the time, left with a $500 car payment a month and my job at that time was at a car dealership making $10 an hour luckily i lived with my parents and car payment was my only bill, but my idiot self kept throwing money at the car by modifying it and after a while it started developing issues from driving it hard and constantly modifying it to the point that i just gave up, still owed 11k on it and traded it for a 2019 corolla se with zero miles they did give me 8k for the fiesta but my car payment was still $500 again but was just thankful to have a reliable car and now i traded in that corolla for a 24 civic sport sedan
I just got my 23 Sonic grey 2 weeks ago and I love it. A complaint I have is the paint is weak. I already got a rock chip on the hood unfortunately. I noticed you had a paint pen in your glove box. Do you experience any bad rock chips since ownership?

Instead of spending $80 to $100 on the emblems, just get a can of hyper dip piano black and spray them yourself. looks just the same but saves you a lot.
@@leanchasersxI read ur comment and considering about getting some glossy black spray paint from auto zone and do this. Taking the emblems off without breaking them will be my only concern tryna do this, or just by sticker ones to go over if they even have anything like that.
@sergraphix You're going to snap the clips. Just in case you were wondering, hyperdip is tough and can take hits from a pressure washer. Mine still looks as black as the first day I sprayed it. Also, if you spray paint it, you have to top coat it and a good 2k clear coat is about $30. All those will take you close to the price of a new emblem. I spray my emblems, badges and license plate with just one can and still have some remaining. Ultimately it depends on what you're comfortable with and I like your idea of using an overlay. If it's pre-cut then you won't need a kit but it will require precision and any mistake will ruin it. If you buy a sheet, you will have extras to go with and possibly get some practice in, which is much needed if you've never wrapped anything before. Lastly, I've used all those options on my car. I wrapped the door pillar posts in gloss black, used gloss black spray paint and 2k clear coat on the front upper and lower grills and the fog light trimmings. Now, all the black trimmings on my are uniform, not gloss here and matte there and whatever else somewhere else. Topped it off with skinny gloss black racing stripes on the sides.
I'm 45 now, sad to say, but our monthly payment on our new Honda Odyssey is $942 a month! I NEVER would've believed I'd be paying that much for a car payment, but here I am. How did I get here? I put zero down because they gave me 0.9% for 48 months, which is basically free money. They tried to mark it up 2,500 but after a few hours I was able to get rid of that and walk out at MSRP. I suppose it was a good deal, but it does hurt paying 40k for a minivan. :cry: Wife is happy though, and we just paid the house off, so the car payment is simply replacing the mortgage payment, so no sweat financially. Oh, I should explain why I'm here. We own 2 civics!! (No payments on those) Love them! And I like yours too! Cheers!
Ceramic tint blocks more heat. You will definitely be happy with it when the sun starts shining hot. Never had a customer regret getting ceramic tint. Nice video, car looks sick! I love the new gen civics.
